About us
We are local home inspectors in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Harford County, and we offer a professional home inspection that is thorough, accurate and comprehensive. We provide an honest assessment of the structure that is summarized in a final easy to comprehend and concise commentary. We consider it our job to educate clients on maintaining and operating the home properly, as well as bringing to light the current condition of the home. We are considered by many to rank among the best home inspection companies in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Harford County. We are qualified to inspect new construction, historic homes, and every home type in between. Our experience includes single family homes, multiple family structures, commercial structures and much more. We strive to exceed the expectations of our clients in every home inspection or related service. This dedication to excellence is what sets us apart from other home inspection firms in the community, and why clients often refer friends and family to us. **Meet Joseph Brandli** Joseph graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Architecture and moved to Maryland in 1988. He began designing houses that were built at the age of 17 while working for a lumber company in his hometown in Minnesota. His experience in and around home construction at a young age has continued for over 30 years as an architect and home inspector. After starting his own architectural practise in 2000, he bought a Pillar to Post franchise in 2010. Having completed over 1,000 inspections since then, Joseph has gained a reputation for being thorough and knowledgeable in the field. His calm demeanor and depth of experience help him to articulate the issues faced at each property so that the buyer can understand and make informed decisions. **Meet Jordan Bird** Jordan graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from Goucher College in Baltimore Maryland. Prior to Goucher, Jordan spent four years on active duty with the United States Marine Corps completing multiple overseas deployments before returning home to Baltimore. After graduating from Goucher, Jordan joined Keller Williams Realty in Baltimore as a full time buyers agent. Because of his service in the military, it allowed him to understand clients on a more personal level while keeping professionalism at the forefront of every interaction. Jordan continues to help clients with their home buying process as a pillar to post home inspector. His knowledge of the home buying process furthers his diligent efforts to provide the most educational experience to his clients so that they have peace of mind when purchasing their new home. Buying a home is one of the most significant decisions and one of the biggest investments you will ever make, so Jordan consistently makes sure his clients are comfortable with each inspection and answers any questions you may have. Professional Training: Every Pillar To Post home inspector is trained in the classroom and in the field. You can have confidence in the fact that all Pillar To Post inspectors are required to continually upgrade their skills and to keep current with new technologies and professional standards.

"While many of my referrals come from Realtors, I take care to present an honest, unbiased investigation and report on the house to accurately inform the client of the deficiencies and liabilities. My inspection services are typically considered thorough based on constant feedback that I receive, and this is what I strive for in my reports. The Pillar to Post system exceeds the scope of an ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) defined inspection. Often, people do not understand the limits of a visual inspection and approach it with unrealistic expectations. We can only report on what is observable at the time of the inspection and cannot predict the future of specific items. Lifespans of items are limited to our best professional opinion based on the investigative information available at the time of inspection. I am always happy to speak directly with clients that feel dissatisfied to see if I can help in any way."

"Thank you again for choosing us for your rental inspection needs. It was a pleasure meeting you!"
"Thank you so much! We are always excited to see happy clients! I want to thank you for the wonderful review and to let you know that if you ever need anything we are just a phone call away! Congratulations to the two of you and I hope you enjoy your new home! Respectfully, Jordan Bird"
