Terrible!!! Lied numerous times! Never came to do the work on time or when promised. Pinkston provided a proposal with all supplies, and work to be done and was signed by both parties. Was told the job would be done in 2-3 days, after 2 weeks was told the work was completed and it was not. There is a list of at least 15 items that he did not complete or will have to be redone. I would not recommend that anyone use this man for anything!!! He has reviews on here singing his praises but I honestly cannot imagine that he did any of these jobs!! He overcharged a 85 yr. old woman and promised to complete the job to our satisfaction but I can say that nothing he did was satisfactory! Never hire him for any job, he is a con and liar!!! Now we have to hire someone else at additional cost to complete and repair all the issues we have after paying him in full $3200!!!! for nothing I might add.

Let me just say this.... we had too many issues with this provider to mention. I will say this he's a liar,cheater and a con. STAY AWAY!

Understood the problem and was quick and professional and fairly priced. Would definitely call again for plumbing repair.

He responded in a timely manner, came promptly, assessed the problem, detected a related leak problem and fixed both issues in short order. His fee was very reasonable. We are very satisfied with the skill and demeanor of Mr. Pinkston.

Project was estimated to take a week or 2, but took 3 months. Doug would disappear for weeks at a time, show up hours later than expected, and had a lot of personal issues going on. I'm a reasonable guy and understand that life happens, but if he wasn't able to do the work he should have handed it off. One of the main purposes of the upgrade was to fix a water pressure issue, however he just tied into the existing upstairs copper lines which means that while the downstairs pressure is great, upstairs is no different. Additionally, part of the job was installing a new HVAC vent to keep the room where the tankless water heater was installed warm during the winter. I made the mistake of paying off the balance of the invoice with the understanding that he'd return to do the work in the next day or two. He didn't. I've since called him every month or 2 to try and get him to complete the already paid for work. He'll show up, look around, take notes, promise to be back in a few days...and then not show up. At this point I'm going to have to eat the cost and hire another plumber to install the vent and fix the upstairs water pressure before I can finish remodeling and adding a master bathroom. So, for a quick job he's fine, but for anything large I'd be wary.

Doug was great. He arrived first thing Monday morning, removed the old water heater and had the new tankless system installed and ready to go by early afternoon. I appreciated the information he provided and how easy he was to work with. He did a quality job and I would not hesitate to contact him again for other people plumbing needs.

Installation went ok, however started leaking about 15 minutes after he left. He came back next morning and tightened a connection which fixed the problem, however he ran over my mailbox and paper box pulling into my driveway. He half fixed them when he left. Also he will charge you a 60 dollar fee just to look at the work and quote. This is a waste if you know exactly the job you want done.

A nightmare. Pinkston was 3.5 late, did not have a clue what he was doing. Used silicone to seal two corners of my air conditioning emergency run off pan. This was not the source of the leak. It was due to a problem with the Air Conditioning cooling system. He left for 3 hours after being late 3.5 came back, stayed 5 minutes, left again for another 2 hours. He finally came back worked for approximately 1.5 hours which was emptying the pan that was located in the attic. He had no idea what he was doing. The only material he used was silicone in the corners of the emergency run off pan from my air conditioning. The system is old and not functioning properly and the main run off pan was so old that it had rusted through therefore the water went to the emergency pan. Pinkston had no idea about what was causing the actually problem. The run off pan collects the condensation from the unit. It is symptomatic. I told him I needed an itemized bill for all labor and parts broken down. He did not repair my leak which caused further water damage to my ceilings and he did not give me anow itemized bill. I called a reputable air conditioning company Triple cities Air conditioning who assessed the problem. They were outstanding. When I had a professional diagnosis the tech said Pinkston had no idea what he was doing. I ask for a refund. Pinkston returned 100.00 of the $560.00 he charged me. I am taking him to court to receive a full refund. DO NOT USE DOUG PINKSTON. HE IS A CON.

Mr. Pinkston was very thorough and efficient. He checked all water pipes, faucets, etc. for leaks and gave good advice for maintenance.

Called him on Saturday afternoon, and came within 1 1/2 hours, pretty good for a Saturday. Most plumbers are off, plus he answered his phone, it did not go to voice mail, which is usually the story when calling. Was reasonable on his price too.

Wow! Doug phoned me within 20 minutes and was at my house within an hour performing several exterior waste field checks and interior tests to make sure my system was operating to standard. What a relief. Along the way, he explained in perfect detail why we were doing this and what a bad indication would look like. Very Personable, knowledgeable, approachable, professional, truck and equipment squared away...some one who loves his job and likes talking care of people. He also provided some preventive maintenance tips for us to extend our properly operating system further. He explained exactly what we should look for when and if trouble does rear its head. Great guy.

Everything went very smooth. Doug Pinkston returned my phone call promptly and called the day of the appointment to let me know he was on his way. Everything was fixed and I am so pleased. It's very hard in this day and age to find competent people. Many will not return calls or do a poor job when they do show up. Mr. Pinkston is a true professional and I highly recommend him.

It wasn't cheap (could've been worse), but money isn't the issue when a water line breaks. He was there within the hour and fixed it. That's worth more than money. I'll use Pinkston Plumbing again.

Finally replaced bad pipe but did not alter bill which included much more work and included sump pump installation which was not needed once real problem was "discovered".

it went okay,he took care of the issues but he was WAY OVER priced. He charged us $300. for about 1 1/2 hrs work. That comes out to about $200. an hour.... WOW!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Pinkston was very professional and completed the job quickly. His price was a lot better than other plumbers I had called and was the only one who even seemed interested in the job. He stayed in touch and was able to fix my problem sooner than scheduled. While he was here, he also repaired a my toilet and kitchen sink at no charge. I will be calling Doug for any plumbing work I need done in the future. I am very satisfied with his work.

Mr Pinkston is a true professional. He knows his trade and takes pride in his work. He always kept me posted regarding his arrival time and took the time to answer all my questions. When he completed the work he went around with me to ensure I was completely satisfied. I was. I have now found a plumber who I will use for all my future needs.
