GREAT WORK!!!! I have used PLANT IT EARTH (PIE) from Plant City, FL for about 18 months. Prior to that I had another company for 2 years and they did not make much difference in my yard. So, based on the appearance of a neighbor's yard, that uses PIE, I switched to PIE. I could tell a difference within a few months, and all these months later I'm still very happy with their service. Prior to 4 years ago, I was a do-it-yourselfer, spreading the fertilizer etc, but for just a little bit more money, I have a knowledgeable pro taking care of it. GREAT WORK!!!!

Initially, the grass in my yard and every yard in the neighborhood that used Plant It Earth had the greenes,t most lush lawns and you could easily tell which homes used their services. I talked to my neighbors and they began using Plant It Earth because of how great my lawn looked. About 6 or 8 months after that, one of the 5 queen palm trees just died. I contacted them and was told that if I sent them a photo of the dead tree, they would get back with me on how they would handle it. I immediately sent a photo of the dead tree but didn't hear anything back. So a couple of weeks later, I called and through a series of transfers, I ended up with "Joe" who was supposed to be a manager. He told me that they will replace shrubs but they do not guarantee any trees over 6 feet tall and my palm was well over that so they would not be replacing it. I was unhappy and knew that their services had been misrepresented by the salesman but decided that they still provided good lawn care and I should have read the fine print. I was launching a business and really didn't have time to deal with it further. In November, I noticed that not only did my grass was brown in places and didn't look healthy and 4 or 5 of my Vibernum were starting to turn brown. I had never seen this and have a lot of friends who have the same hedge so when the Plant It Earth guy came out the next time, I asked him what was going on with the dying shrubs. He initially said that they were not getting enough water (even though the plants right next to them were perfectly healthy) so I challenged him on that as there is a sprinkler head that rotates directly into that area of the hedge. His response then was that they were getting too much water. Obviously, I knew that speaking to him would be of no value so I called the office in Plant City. I spoke to a nice receptionist who stated that if the shrubs died under their care they would certainly replace them. She said that she would have her manager "Joe" come out and talk to me. Joe was supposed to meet with me on Monday morning at 9:00 AM. At around 10:00, I received a call from the receptionist who said that Joe had a family emergency and would need to reschedule. We rescheduled for Wednesday at 11:00 AM. It is 1:00 PM an no word from Joe. I looked on the Plant It Earth website and the site doesn't state any guarentees even though their sales staff and receptionist claim that they exist. My neighbor across the street also has shrubs that have died under the care of Plant It Earth and they refused to replace them as well. These are $35 ligustrums and they refused to make it right. I have paid $65 monthly for at least 4 years for a total of nearly $3,000 and the service has gotten worse during that time and now I think they just are spraying water on my lawn. I dont think that they killed my shrubs but they accepted responsibility for their care and should replace them when they die.

I hired Plant It Earth to perform my lawn fertilization and lawn weed control. My yard has never looked to bad as after I hired Plant It Earth to care for my lawn. The yard was taken over by weeds and about half of my front lawn grass is dead and will probably have to be replaced as nothing grows back in places. Further, when I hired Plant It Earth, I expressly stressed to them that I had a Service Dog that has a doggie door to the fenced in back yard and that Plant It Earth was to call me "before" ever coming to the house to do the back yard so I could keep my service dog away from the chemicals being sprayed and keep him away until it completely dries. This was not being done, possibly endangering my service dog. Further I was home one day they came, sitting in the house, they never rang my doorbell to let me know they were there nor did they enter the back yard (even though my service dog staid inside with me) to do my back yard even though they left paperwork saying they did the whole yard. This probally explains why my back yard is full of weeds. I called the Plant It Earth office to complain and the person took all my complaint information, and contact information and said she would have a manager investigate it and get back to me within aday. Plant It Earth never called me back nor do I now feel they cared at all. Because I feared for the health of my service dog, I know atleast the time I was sitting at home they never entered the back yard ( and it was NOT because a dog was barking behind the fence) and the condition my lawn as become and staid I will never have anything to do with them again. I would never hire Plant It Earth to do any lawn care for me again, nor recommend them to do anyone else's lawn especially lawns with service animals in the home..

They literally drove by my property and placed a sign in my lawn without ever spraying anything at all. They never set a foot on my lawn, which I had suspected all along, due to the amount of crabgrass I have. They sent me to collections when I refused to pay the bill, but I was home when they did their "drive-by". I watched them the whole time. They did nothing but plant their sign. Not only that, but the office staff is very rude. I called them out on this situation, and they harassed me to the point of no longer accepting their calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We put a pool in our backyard, which reduced our backyard by more than 50%. After more than 3 months, we noticed that our bill was still the same, despite less yard to spray/treat. When we called to ask for a lower price, they blamed us for the over-charging!!! They refused to credit us for the over-charging that they did and then told us we could "hit the road" if we didn't like that! I was appalled at the poor customer service and consideration for customer loyalty. Go elsewhere if you want good and fair service.

Basically they treat my lawn for bugs and keep it fertilized. Cost is about $58 per month. Had them come out one time when I noticed what seemed to be some grass dying off and wondered why. So far so good - will continue to use them.
I called to cancel my service and spoke with Erica. She told me to "hold on" and then Jared picked up the phone. After requesting to cancel my service with Jared, he told me he told me "he could help me with that" and then hung up on me. I called back and supposedly spoke with a different Erica and just told her I needed to cancel my service and I don't need to speak with anyone about it.
In addition to my neighbor's complaint about PIE ruining his lawn, I walked through the neighborhood and looked at the yards of others that have used PIE and their lawns are horrible too. Save yourself the trouble and look at your neighbors' lawns and see which companies are doing a good job. In my neighborhood, PIE is the worst I've seen.
My lawn was in terrible shape a few months ago when I started using their services. He assessed my lawn and told me to give him a year to get it looking as good as my neighbours' lawn (who they also service). I told him he had a deal. So far we are 4 months in and the difference is remarkable! My lawn isn't going to win awards yet, but it has improved greatly! They are reliable and consistent. They always call me the night before to let me know they will be coming by. When I noticed some ant beds, I gave them a call and they were out again within 48 hours to treat the issue specially and off-cycle at no charge.

This place has the worst customer service if you have an issue. We have been a customer since February 2015 and have had nothing but issues since. The first issue that we have had was with billing. We were supposed to get the first month free as a promotion but we wound up getting charged the $40 fee the next day. When I called to see when the money would be refunded the only person in the office who could take care of it was out. It took well over a week to receive the money back. They never returned my phone calls and were rude on the phone when I called to inquire about when I would receive the money back. Next, we've had an issue with weeds that we have never had before we used the company and issues with fungus growing along the side yard from the rain run off of the house that never cleared. I was already contemplating leaving the company when today solidified that idea. I left my house at the same time I always do and was gone for 18 minutes. The tech was not at my house nor did I passed him in our neighborhood. When I returned I had to ask the tech to move his truck because he was blocking my driveway. I checked the time immediately. He moved his truck and left. I called the customer service line to ask them how it was possible that they could fertilize the lawn and treat the weeds on top of doing a write up for my house and my neighbors house in 18 minutes. The woman said that she would receive a call back from the tech and then call me back to let me know. In the meantime I asked her to cancel my monthly visits to which she said that she would transfer me to that department. Jonathan in the cancellation department was so incredibly rude that my blood is boiling after 45 minutes of dealing with him. He had the nerve to raise his voice and tell me that I am being unrealistic and that my yard should only take 5 minutes. 5 minutes! Why am I paying $40 a month for 5 minutes of their time? He even went on to say that I was probably gone for longer because of traffic. I'm sorry, no. We live on a two way street with our neighborhood and a church and a daycare on it, nothing else. There is no traffic whatsoever and I made sure to check the time when I got home. He was yelling at me and talking over me on the phone that I was so upset . I have never been spoken to that way by a company ever in my life. I should have read the reviews before and stayed away from this company all together.

Although the office staff for calendaring and taking calls is good, the actual state of my yard has been poor for a very long time. It's embarrassing, especially when other nearby yards go untreated or are treated by another company and look significantly better.
Bought new grass for yard a few years ago, hired PIE from week 1 of new grass, and it's been a downhill ride ever since. Bermuda grass (weed) has dominated the side yard in the front, and there are large patches of bermuda in the front that have never been successfully fended off by PIE. If having a large dead patch of grass/dirt overwhelmed by bermuda in the front yard is satisfactory to a business in the landscaping industry, that would be shocking to me.
In my opinion, their guaranty has not been lived up to, and it's been a constant struggle for more than a year to get where we should be (which is remove the bermuda and replace with new sod since their applications are not resulting in a good-looking yard). Have been repeatedly told to continue treating and see how it goes. Around October, I was told to continue having them treat until February and then replace at that time, since it allegedly wasn't a good season for sod during the winter months. The bermuda grass has been a problem for a very long time.
Would say that the actual technicians that do come, do come as scheduled, and do a quick (if not too quick) job. Plant It Earth was previously good with service calls to address an issue. However, it appears that they don't take good notes of their service calls because when the bermuda grass issue was elevated to a manager's level, they didn't have record of my previously raised concerns.
Overall, my problem has been with the embarrassing look of my lawn and with management making promises (some as simple as promises to visit the property and call me with a detailed plan of action), and then not fulfilling their promises, leaving me with an embarrassing front yard for months on end.
Tired of the excuses.
They checked the lawn itself. They inspected the property and turfs for insects’ fungus and other stuffs. And they treated it on the walls and granulated the entire lawn. The owner is really nice, very prompt in returning phone calls. He lets you know what the deal is. No extra charges. His customer service stood out for me.

We used Plant It Earth for several years, after our prior lawn service sold out to a larger company. Service for this past year has been terrible. Weeds and crabgrass are taking over large areas of our lawn. The techs frequently burn the yard in areas when they apply weed killer and /or fertilizer. Most of the bushes in our double row front hedge have died and we have had to pull them out. This hedge was planted in 1997. The route technicians have changed often, and Joe, our route supervisor, repeatedly failed to return our calls. Plant It Earth has promised to replace some of the sod that died for over a year now, but they never did so. We called the office many times and were repeatedly told there was no one higher than Joe we could talk to about these problems. We finally cancelled our service after the final November 5th service call by a new manager, Ashley Beall. We have the report he left on our door where he again addresses the over-stressed areas due to too much weed treatment applied by their technician and apologized for their mistake and any inconvenience. We also have a copy of their initial evaluation of our yard and any problem areas from when we hired their services. We were immediately transferred to a customer retention specialist when we called to cancel our service. He admitted that what the office staff told us about there being no one over Joe to talk to was not true. He asked what Plant It Earth could do to keep our business, but while that may have been possible had they been responsive for the past year, that window of opportunity has now closed and we have had to hire a new service.
We hired PIE back in the spring/summer 2013 timeframe to assist with fertilization of our lawn and plants in our front and backyard. We received a price quote of $50 per month - about $15 more a month than our next door neighbor with the exact same yard. However, they had been customers for over a year, and the Company/Sales Rep explained to us that there was a salesman with the company a year or so ago that was providing extremely low prices to customers just to get them to sign up. So we figured it was about accurate for being new customers and was on par with other services we called around and inquired about. By September- our lawn and plants are the worst they have ever looked since we moved in almost a year ago. It looked better before we started using the service. Our shrubs and trees have a fungus on it, our plants in the front died and our lawn has yellow/dead patches all over it. Upon calling and complaining, they send out a tech the next day - who was prompt - and told my husband that there is definitely something wrong and they recommend a series of new treatments over the next few weeks for which, they would not charge us extra. Then he asked how much we were paying a month, my husband didn't remember off the top of his head, they the serviceman told us, if you are paying more than $40 a month, you need to call and have that adjusted. We found out in at this time that they do not treat the majority of our backyard because it is Bahia and they don't treat Bahia. I called and complained, they insist they told me about the Bahia upfront, I refuted that claim because - why would I agree to $50 a month if you are not doing the majority of my property!?! The sales rep said he would lower our rate to the $40 a month and comp me for the month. In the interim, I also called to un-enroll in autopay, especially since I knew they would not be charging me for the month. Well it is about two months since that (Now November 2013) - they still have not cancelled my autopay, they are still charging me $50 per month, I have to call every month to get it adjusted down to $40 per month.
Bottom line - we would not recommend them - they services are sub-par, pricing is too high for what they are offering and our lawn and plants look worse than ever. We will be changing services next month.
They're very friendly and very professional. We just left this provider, because there was one spot in our lawn that was just persistently not getting better so we went to our old provider. But I would recommend them. They're a wonderful company. We were just a little bit disappointed with one spot that they couldn't help us with. I would consider using them again in the future for something else.
