About us

Plaster Solutions implements innovative techniques to restore plaster throughout Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. It is less expensive than replacing with drywall and more true to your home. We offer a lifetime warranty on our work and take pride in never having a warranty complaint since our first job 7 years ago. I specialize in offering creative solutions to older homes. I like to repair or improve older homes while trying to preserve its character by repairing plaster cracks, securing sagging ceilings and floors, making bathrooms bigger, refinishing doors, insulating walls, decorative coffered ceilings, venetian plaster, and much more. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. I promise to return calls and show up on time.

Abel was great from beginning to end. He took a look at the job and figured out how to make the patch blend with the rest of the ceiling. He got the work finished and cleaned up the area in a very timely manner. He's quick to respond to emails and texts, lots of great communication. All I can say is, well done! <br />

Throughout the project, Abel was careful to protect my house from dust and cleaned the workspace daily. He's trustworthy, very skilled and knowledgeable about plaster and home repairs. I could tell he's specializes in plaster and this was a big selling point for me. His quality of work is fantastic! The end result was beautiful new plaster walls and a "like new" butch-block countertop. His work exceeded my expectations. <br /> Also, I really appreciated his friendly personality and willingness to work around my schedule. <br /> I plan to use his services again when need and I would recommend his services to anyone!  <br /> <br /> <br />

I have employed the services of Abel at Plaster Solutions multiple times over the last 4 years. He has helped me with projects both large and small. His most relevant work includes a kitchen and bath remodel, repairing exterior stucco and replacing damaged drywall. I highly recommend Abel's services. I really wish he was still in Greensboro!

Everything went great.  Abel installed some screening sandwiched in plaster (or maybe joint compound) to create a new, clean, strong, crack free ceiling.  3 years later the ceilings still look like new!  If I could afford it, I'd do every other room in the house! <br />

My renovation involved the removal of a wall and every wall surface had to be refinished including the ceiling.  Plaster Solutions' craftsmanship exceeded my highest expectations.  Abel's attention to detail in older historical homes is excellent!
