Not even 1 star - Beware - do not hire this contractor for any job - very bad work and unreliable Hired @PlataConstruction for a bathroom repair/remodel that should have taken 3 weeks. After the 3 weeks job still not finished and the work that was done was ugly and poor workmanship. The shower tile wall was supposed to be beautiful and elegant but instead the grout lines do not line up, the cuts are jagged, the walls have uneven number of tiles, and the tiles themselves are not flush. Can you say ugliest job ever!  @uglyjob.com I am embarrassed to have this in my house. After confronting Jeremy multiple times he told me the job was a good job and then offered 10% off to keep the ugly tile job so he could get paid and walk away, I don’t need a discount on an ugly job, I wanted my shower walls to look nice. Have contacted state license board to resolve.

Jeremy and his crew were very honest and hardworking professionals who did an excellent job on my home. He is highly knowledgeable and explained all steps of the job from beginning to end so that I could be well informed. Definitely recommend Plata construction for your home needs.

Started job 03/04/20. Contractor agreed to meet us at lowes to pick what we wanted. Never happened. Sent pictures of shower we wanted. Contractor sent us a different style that was suppose to be better. We went with it. Came in cracked, had to return. Received another one, little did the worker know that it had to be cut. Should of just kept the first one. Trouble started with dry wall. We asked for an Orange peel. They sprayed the texture, they were going to scrap the texture down. They pained the walls, well they left large tips that you could peel them off with your hand and sharp points. So Plata came back in and textured the wall again. Worker came with this guy. I had Plata come look at it and Jeremy himself said, well the guy said he knew how to do plasterer. I guess he didn't. Made a mess on the walls. So then Plata comes back, I showed him the type of painting they were doing. Bad painting. Twice. The Plata comes back and tells me that his employees don't want to come back and work in my house. Asked me if I would sign a paper that we didn't owe each other money. 2-3 things were to be fixed and that he would give me $100.00 back for the dry wall work. Worker came to fix 2 things. Never heard back from him. So, I took pictures of all the bad work his company did. Filed a claim against Plata Construction to the State Board. Have a claim# on him. Then Jeremy called me 2 weeks ago and said he got a call from the State board. Asked me what I wanted, I told Jeremy that I want the wall fixed. He said that he would think about it. Have not heard back from him. I got this company from Angie's list.

We are thrilled with all the work being done. It's being done right, and beautfully, it looks incredible, and we look forward to interior renovation in the future! Every member of the team is highly skilled and quick and efficient in the process.

My background is 35 years construction and after hiring Jeremy Plata (Plata Construction) to remodel my office, I knew right away I hired the right contractor!! Plays construction were on time, easy to work with and they didn’t leave until we were satisfied. They were considerate of our time and our space and they communicated with us every step of the way. They did an entire bathroom remodel for us, down to studs and rebuilt (drywall, electrical, plumbing, tile, flooring, carpentry.. they did it all!) and we love the way it turned out. We have already passed their information to our friends and we are saving to do we can have them work on another project for us soon.

Very pleased with the bath room remodel performed by Plata Construction. Additionally, they repaired the roof, painted the exterior of the house and some minor repairs. We will call on Plata Construction again.

They were amazing from the start of the day to thier clean up. They worked very hard to accomodate us . Every one on thier team were professional but very kind and personal. You could sense that they really wanted to complete the project to MY liking. I would HIGHLY recommend them

Wonderfully, I’ve been in the real estate business since 2005. Shortly after I got my license I was introduced to Jeremy Plata. He’s been my go-to guy since. From small termite jobs to reconstruction of properties he has always done a phenomenal job!!! Highly recommend him. Not only are his prices fair, he’s punctual and one of the few that gets the job done on time and correctly.

this company was professional in every way, company did a more than excellent job in a timely manner. Company owner even suggested that I apply for city funding for low income. made all repairs, including leak around vent flashing and referred me to air-conditioning and Heating repair person who also did an excellent job and repaired my ducting around Heating system which also saved me money and it has been an excellent job as well. I will be using this company for all of my repair jobs as needed. Owner is an honest person and does not try to make money off of his customers by doing unnecessary repairs. I have referred him to some of my friends who are also looking for an honest and good contractor, they will be using his company as well. Everyone who comes over to see the work that was done loves what company has done and they have taken his business cards for future work.
