the owner is a piece of garbage, it's been 3 years , they screwed everything up, left me with no kitchen, no heat, and walked away from the job. saul schhlitman her foreman is a scrum liar as well, had no idea how to do the job yet took the money, the repairs and estimate for their damage I got today was over $54,000.00 and lisa thinks she is so great. totally incompetent and clueless, how do you leave someone like that and screw up their property and dont care...I have been paying a mortgage on a home I cant even use because of lisa Thomas Donnelly and saul, and they have no care.

Had them remove the large old-school house fan and install a drop-down ladder in it's place. Overall great work. There was one day when the workers came a few hours late, but that happens and is understandable. The only part (which was my error I'm sure) that I was unhappy about was the painting of the door and surrounding ceiling was not included in the price - but I am pretty sure I told about it and simply forgot which was another $250. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

They were great experiences. We have worked with Platinum several times because we liked their prices, punctuality, and professionalism. The first time we hired them was to remodel our guest bathroom. We had a tub/wall combo that we didn't like and wanted to replace with new tub and tile. We got several proposals, but many of them were over priced and they always would end up breaking most of the bathroom. Platinum proposed a cleaner job also at a lower cost. It was great! We were not happy with how the cubby in the shower was made, and we didn't say it to them until after a few months, they still came and fixed it! The second time we had them was a few months later to remodel the kitchen. We wanted a bigger island and to get rid of a fridge in the middle of the kitchen and move it to a side. We asked them for a quote before we asked anyone else. We were so happy with the price that we didn't even ask other companies for any quotes. They moved the fridge and opened up space for the new fridge with the existing cabinets. The also installed the new island and re did the kitchen floor from tile to wood. They made it match with the floor we already had in the living room. It was great as well! Third time we hired them to put a wall outside our house. When we bought the house, it seems like the living room was an extension made on a deck. The underneath the deck was never covered, therefore the living room was always cold. Platinum put insulation and a new wall. We had at least 2 other contractors give us a quote, but then we finally asked Platinum again (we didn't ask them initially because we weren't sure they did that type of job). Well, they gave us a proposal and it was lower than the others, and again with guys we already knew. It was an easy decision. Then the last job we used them for was a few weeks ago to convert out master bath from a tub (kind of Jacuzzi) to a stand-up shower. They came to give us the price almost immediately. They were available for inspections, and they were even available for picking up permits or materials if I couldn't do it myself. I was very pleased with their job. I made a mistake getting the wrong tiles; they noticed when they started putting up the tile and saw the difference. I felt terrible, but they were so patient and helpful. They just removed the tile and waited for me to get new one. I really recommend these guys!!!! They have also done a few other smaller jobs in my house, like repairing a hole in the wall that my nephews made playing soccer inside the basement. Repairing a leak in the kitchen ceiling. Repairing a broken piece in the second floor wooden floor...I think I lost count. The price i am putting down below is only for the master bathroom as I don't remember the other prices.

Platinum Carpentry have done excellent jobs on our house. We have had several projects but the 2 main ones are the basement that was finished and now an open floor plan on our main floor (on target to complete over next 2 weeks). We have been very happy with them. The price is right and the quality of the work is great. They are very professional and responsive in all manners. We love our rooms they have done for us. I also appreciate Lisa's honest opinion around design and other aspects of the job. I'd hire them again for more work.

Easy! The company was professional and completed the job in less than a week. Only one small issue - two months later, a town inspector asked if a permit had been pulled for fixing the railing. Once we gave them the name of the company, all was ok. No permit was needed for the replacement.

The representative came over quickly, gave me a fair quote and offered to begin work the following day. I was impressed by the price and the promptness, and materials were bought before Home Depot closed that very day. The next morning the team arrived, re-insulated the crevasses and sealed the hole in a little more than half a hour. The basement is already warm and toasty again. I cannot be more pleased. It's a joy to work with this team and I look forward to hiring them for just about anything.

Ms. Elisa met with me personally to go over the work I was having done, and let me say from start to finish the service provided and the finished project was OUTSTANDING!! I was on vacation while the work was being done and when I came home and opened my door, it was like when Dorothy (from the Wizard of Oz) saw OZ for the first time. I was over come with joy. Beautiful work. The contractors cleaned up, removed all debris and left my space like new. The work was everything I asked for and more. Let me start by saying, I would recommend Platinum Carpentry for any work that you need on your home!! Despite the usual issues that I believe would come up in any construction project, they were fantastic to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for a project and I hope to do so in the future for a few other things we'd like to get done on our home. The pricing was realistic, fair and reasonable. They (Lisa and Saul) were both completely responsive when contacting them. They answered all questions and made sure to discuss any changes to the original plans. They were both pleasant to deal with though the whole project. They did a great job and our new 'dining room' looks wonderful and makes for an awesome addition to our home. It's been 6 months since the project was done and we have had a few minor issues (NOT due to work quality) and we've already been told that they will take a look at the issues and send the electrician back to take a look at the issue with the light fixture. Again, not a reflection of work quality as I always believe that with construction there are unforeseen issues that can occur but since Platinum Carpentry guarantees their work for a year we knew we could count on them to not just finish a project and leave but to handle anything that comes out within that time frame. Now to completely lay out as much as possible, I feel obligated to share the only disappointing part of our project. The only thing that didn't work out so well for us was our carpet installation. The people that they have come in and do carpet (I believe they subcontract for this kind of work) did not install the carpet on our stairs properly. I'm not sure why but the tacks were sticking up in the stairs after it was initially installed. I called Saul/Lisa and the next day the carpet people came back. Again, there were still issues, and at that point the owner Lisa had to come back and deal directly with the carpet people making sure that all tacks were hit down. At the time it seemed like it was ok although the stairs didn't have the soft, comfy feeling to it like the regular carpet in the upstairs bedroom did. I could still feel something under my foot when walking down the steps. Unfortunately now 6 months later that issue has gotten worse and you can feel something on quite a few steps when walking down the steps which is disappointing since we spent a decent amount of money and it makes it a bit frustrating to know it still is an issue. We have reached out to the company though and I'm hopeful this will get looked at when they come to check out the few minor issues we are having.

Honest, friendly, reliable, prompt, responsive and quality are just some of the words I would use to describe them. Our project was to remove the load bearing walls on the first floor of a center hall colonial, reconfigure the kitchen cabinetry, add recessed lighting, install and refinish hardwood floors throughout the home, and to reconfigure the master bedroom. The overall results are fantastic! Along the way, as with any project, we ran into some minor hiccups that altered the original plans. Platinum worked with us on ideas and designs and we completed our project on time and within budget. They also performed some minor work relating to the project, but outside of the technical "written scope", without any additional up charge. Thanks to Lisa and Saul for taking the stress out of our project and delivering great results!

Elisa and Saul came to our home, on a Saturday, so that we could discuss what we needed to be done. By Monday morning, Elisa had emailed me an estimate for our project. The estimate was very reasonable so we decided to go with Platinum Carpentry. Since we were novices when it comes to construction and contractors, Elisa explained the process to us. The work started on time and Saul and his guys were very professional, arriving on the days that they said they would and informing me of the progression of the project. When the project was completed they cleaned up. I am so glad that we chose Platinum Carpentry because I am in love with my deck and sliding glass patio doors. The deck gives new life to my backyard!!!!

Excellently! I left message on their voicemail and Lisa called me back within a few hours, made arrangements for Saul to come by my house, making inspection, and give us an estimate. He recommended that we purchase a new patio door directly from a building supply store, and he gave us some advice about which model to select. He communicated with the building supply company in order to be certain that the size of the replacement patio door would be appropriate. It was easy to schedule a convenient time for him to do the work. He telephoned us the afternoon before each of the 2 days that he would be working in our home. Craftsmanship was excellent. He even painted wooden frame around the new patio door. Cleanup after the job was complete. We could not of been more pleased!

The service Platinum provided can only be explained as exceptional. Lisa was there from the beginning assuring me that they had experience necessary and that the project would be handled with the utmost professionalism. She was 100% accurate. Once the project began Saul kept constant communication through all segments of the renovation. If an issue arose that he needed to have resolved he contacted me immediately and answered any questions I had regarding the project, even on weekends! Along the way I had many requests for change orders to have additional work done and each time they accommodated me without question. Even after the agreed upon contract had been completed I still contact Saul regarding completing additional projects and he responds quickly. You are always nervous as a homeowner to take on a project of this magnitude, I am thankful that I was able to find a contractor that is as quality, professional and honest as Lisa and Saul. Definitely will be using them in the future again.

The quality of the reconstruction was first class. The construction team completed the job in a quality effort.. The entire team showed an excellent effort in all aspects of this difficult job.( construction knowledge and cleanliness) I would recommend this group to anyone requiring a professional construction job.

Platinum Carpentry was a pleasure to work with.  Lisa is the owner and is very quick to respond to emails or telephone calls. Saul is the project manager - you can call him even on the weekends on his cell phone and he is very easy to reach.  He kept me updated with what to expect every step of the way.  His men laid a canvas covering on my stairs and hallway to protect the carpeting. Every time the workers left for the day, they left the place spotless.  The estimate was fair and when I requested a change order, they took it in stride and were quite reasonable about the extra cost.  They work to code and communicated well with the town inspector.  They did a very nice job in repairing and painting my kitchen ceiling and bathroom.  I would highly recommended them for any remodeling job.

Definitely would recommend this contractor. Lisa and Saul were very professional to deal with, even though my job was a very small one. They did not attempt to upsell me for work I didn't want or need. They performed both the estimate and the job exactly when they said they would. The work was done promptly and properly, and the cost was the lowest of the three estimates I received. <br />

Platinum Carpentry oversaw a troubled basement renovation and a second floor kitchen and bath full renovation.  The property was an older property  and had complicated electrical,  plumbing, and "black construction" issues.  Everything had to be done to municipal code specifications,  All the work passed inspections with no problems.  All the work was done timely, professionally and appears durable.  The detail and finishes were outstanding.  The pricing was fair and reasonable.  I have no reservation in recommending Platinum Carpentry as an outstanding general contractor firm and will be contracting them in the future for other home and commercial renovation projects.
