PLEASANT FLOORING INC is a family owned business since 1999. We specialize in all surfaces of flooring including special order and in-stock carpet for immediate installation. We offer many grades and styles from as low as $.50 a square foot! All first quality. Our installers all have a minimum of 10 years experience and we warranty our labor. Carpet. Hardwood. Laminate and Vinyl Flooring.

Contractors showed up 10 minutes late, and I did not receive a phone call that they were on their way. But once they got there, they got to work very quickly, explained what they would do, and did a quality job.

Purchase and install Congoleum type flooring in kitchen and laundry room. Purchase process was pleasant. Installation was tedious and drawn out. The installers did not bring enough material, so the installation process became a two-week process since more material had to be ordered. Shoe molding was installed but it was so badly installed, I called (and stopped by the store a few times) to have this reinstalled correctly. Additionally, the installlers dragged the refrigerator and washer and dryer across the new floor leaving visible scrapes that won't come out. The final job was completed a couple of months later after my several visits to the store seeking resolution. A simple job took way too long, but the owners did come through to correct the installation.

I found Pleasant Installs to have great selection and pricing. My initial interaction was very positive and after working with a variety of carpet providers no other company could beat Pleasant Installs, I feel I got quality carpet at a fair price. The only drawback was that once I placed my order it was like I no longer existed. There was no follow up after the order was placed and after a couple of months I called in for status. Carpet was there and I was scheduled quickly but I wondered how long it had been sitting there, were they waiting on me to call? The day the installation was scheduled I called for the time to expect arrival, this seemed to be an irritant to my sales person, who didn't seem to recall me or my purchase and was not willing to check into timing and told me to call a different #. Thankfully the installers were AMAZING! and ultimately are the only reason I would go back to Pleasant Installs. They were timely, thorough and very pleasant to have in my home. What Pleasant Installs lacked in customer service from the sales person was boosted by the excellent service of their installers. Wish I could remember their names because they deserve lots of props from their boss. The carpeting looks great and very pleased with its performance so far, only concern now is what kind of support will I receive if heaven forbid I experience any problem with it in the future.

I would have to agree with the other member who started "The salesman will make any promise to win your business.....Workmanship is poor quality. Not a good quality installation for the high price of the job". Brian will make a lot of promises and guarantees regarding warranties for the product and installation during the sales process, however, Pleasant Installs hasn't delivered on any of those promises. The quality of the hardwood and carpet product appear to be ok so far but only time will tell. The workmanship of the installation is not so Pleasant. For the hardwood flooring, Kyle and Craig were very sedulous and when they worked together, the hardwood installation job progressed nicely. Other days were essentially a waste of time. David showed up very late to install the carpet around noon and performed a rush job and it's very apparent. After several calls, the installation issues still haven't been addressed or resolved. I was very hopeful because of the positive reviews but I wouldn't recommend Pleasant Installs to anyone who's serious about having a large job completed professionally.

Wonderful! Brian came to the house to measure & the floor was installed within a week or so. The installers, Craig & Kyle were very professional and courteous. Would definitely hire them again.

They were prompt, professional, and did an outstanding job--from the initial measuring appointment through the layout. Definitely recommend them. <p>Salesman is very friendly and does follow up well. Salesman will make any promise to win your business. The installers are young and not experienced. Workmanship is poor quality. Not a good quality installation for the high price of the job.</p> <br />

The homeowner was concerned with the "pounding" associated with the click/lock LVP high quality floor- This product sometimes requires more force during installation for it to interlock correctly. There were a few little issues on this project, we had the Crew Cheif personally inspect and fix the problems, to our knowledge the project was completed to customer satisfaction."

<p>The subcontractor that Pleasant Installs hired was awful. He didn't seem interested in working, took 2 1/2 times longer than originally estimated. Moreover, he didn't do quality work. After the contract was signed, my sales representative had to be hospitalized and was not available for a couple of weeks. Then, once he set up the job, the subcontractor didn't show so we had to set it up for the next weekend. I had to cut a new deal with the owner since the sales quote was not correct and this raised my costs over 10%. One very positive thing is that the owner seemed genuinely caring and willing to work with me but his salesman and subcontractor negatively affected the quality, price, and project time. The initial project was supposed to take 1/2 of a day and ended up taking three weeks and many follow-up calls. The grout on several tiles has already started to crack. Nice owner but a lousy job that cost way too much. I should have done it myself!</p> <p>In fairness to the owner, he said this was an odd job since I purchased the materials at Home Depot and only had the installation done. Usually, his customers purchase the tile from his shop and he is able to control the job more closely than occurred in my case.</p>

We are 100% familiar with all the products we handle; therefore our company policy is to only deal with products purchased through our company. This policy is to prevent incidents such as these. Our salesman tired to make an exception for this project, but is now completely aware of why we do not install other stores materials. Pleasant Installs issued an allowance toward the subfloor needed. Our sincerest apologies for all of the inconvenience."

Amazing experience from start to finish. The purchase was perfect and the installation team was the best I ever dealt with they ripped up and installed 62 yards of carpet in our family room in less than 2 hours and when they left you'd never know they were even here. I will be referring Pleasent Installs to everyone looking for flooring Don't let the low over head appearance of the showroom fol you these guys are top notch. Thanks guys <br />

We were putting our house up for sale and needed a fast solution to fix our cracked and ugly ceramic tile kitchen floor. I called Pleasant Installs after finding them here on Angie's List. I spoke with Brian, who said typically the first thing to do is come in to the warehouse and look at what kinds of products they offer. I told him I needed the fastest turnaround possible, and so he was nice enough to go out to my house and take the measurements himself first. Knowing exactly what was needed really helped when we went in to choose a product. 4 days later the job was completed, and the results were fantastic. We listed the house and got 6 offers in only 3 days, most of them over our asking price. The best way to describe my experience with Pleasant Install is flawless. From initial contact to installation of carpet, I received professional customer service and the job was well done. It went so well that they are coming back tomorrow to refinish around 600 square feet of hardwood flooring. <br />

<p>Pleasant Installs provided us with a Custom size carpet, 10 X 17, and Binding services.</p> <p>It was one stop shopping at Pleasant Installs, we chose the carpet from their warehouse and they managed the binding services logistics and delivered the carpet when complete. The price was fantastic.</p> <p>All other options we explored involved us picking up the carpet and getting it to a binder, etc. Pleasant installs, Brain and Neil, were fantastic to work with and made the process so easy. </p> <p><br /></p> <br />

Started out well - Brian cane to our house to look over the job and give advice. But, his eye is not that keen - he missed that we have asbestos tile under the FR carpet, hardwood floors in the hallway and underestimated the hardwood refinishing job (took 5 days, not 2). Also downplayed the impact of the smell of stain and finish and we had to move to a hotel. However, Abel, the refinished, did a wonderful job. Dave, the vinyl flooring installer did a good job until the end. He was in a rush when he installed the trim and it was very badly installed and popped off the wall the same day. He had to come back 2 days later to fix it. All three men were very pleasant. The finish product looks good, the process was not.

I contacted Brian over the weekend when we first noticed a seam rip in our carpeting. He responded within two hours to my email. After speaking over the phone, the repair man called and we set up an appointment. The work was completed within a day. Pleasant Installs was prompt with my concern, my carpeting was quickly repaired, the price was fair, and we could not be more pleased. <br />
