Mr. Green completed the small jobs satisfactorily.   My husband understood from him that to fix the leak (our main concern), he was going to weld the pipe and needed to shut off the water.  When he finished he presented a bill for $287.24 less Anglie's discount for a total of $240, which we paid by check.             <br /> <br /> We had another contractor come out to look at the house 6 days later for other repairs.  We showed him the ceiling where Mr. Green had cut out a piece and asked him to repair and paint it,  and he pointed out that the pipe was still leaking.  There was a significant accumulation of water.    When we removed the false ceiling we noticed there was a little piece of what looked like black electrical tape wrapped around the pipe where the leak was.   The pipe was no longer leaking from the place where the tape was, but had sprung two new leaks, one on either side of the tape, and the volume of the leak had increased from the time Mr. Green worked on it.  The contractor expressed surprise that Mr. Green had not verified his work and that there had been no welding.  He said you could weld if you simply protected the space from the torch.    <br /> <br /> I called Jim Green and explained that there was still a leak, and that it appeared that he had just put a piece of electrical tape on it.  I told him that my husband had understood from him that he was going to weld the pipe. Mr. Green  explained that it was not electrical tape but plumbers' tape and was supposed to shrink and stop the leak,  He also stated he had told my husband that he could not weld the pipe because he did not have any protection. I asked him why he had charged me $280 for a piece of tape.  He said, "I didn't charge you $280, I charged you $240."  He was referring to the Angie's discount he gave us on the total, which is correct, but he made no effort to explain the charges.  On his bill the only itemized charges for the whole job are :  "C000IT - 104.71 and C2610T - 182.24  for a total of $287.24, save 47.24 off for even 240.00." <br /> <br /> At that point Mr. Green said that he could could come back and weld the pipe if I wanted him to.  I told him that I just wanted my money refunded since the issue was not fixed and I did not feel comfortable having Mr. Green come back out to the house to work on the pipe again since the work had not been carefully done the first time.   <br /> <br /> He said again that he would come out again to weld "if you want me to."  He made no apologies for the first job.  I repeated that I would just like a refund so I could have someone else take care of it.   He seemed very annoyed and  said  "That's not going to happen!"  I replied then that I would just take the matter up with Anglie's list.  He said, "Fine!" and hung up on me. To sum up:  The leak was not fixed.  When advised that we were not happy with the work, he was combative and defensive.  Responses such as "That's not going to happen!" and "Fine!" (hang up) made the exchanges with him unnecessarily unpleasant.

<p>Perfectly.   Jimmy is owner so he is the one who responds to phone calls and does the work.  Arrived on schedule.  He had to go find some parts and returned promptly.    All work done to my satisfaction.   He knows his work as he is a master plumber....</p> <p>Very detailed.....Trusted him to return to home to finish work when I was not there.   Cleaned up after himself...</p> <p>He has ordered a part for me to replace a part on new dishwasher connection.  Did not like quality that came with the dishwasher.</p> <p>I would definitely recommend him....</p> <p>Pricing in line with work quoted from other plumbers....</p> <p>Will use again.  </p> <br />

Snaked it to clear and suggested a proper fix to keep it from coming back. <br /> Nice to work with an honest guy.

They guy who came is a master plumber and he is skilled.  He can do what other plumbers just don’t do.  He can figure things out which others just can’t figure out.  I had 20 plumbers who came to fix my water problem because it didn’t get hot and we could not take a shower. Then he came and was able to fix the problem.  When my toilet was overflowing, he did some pipe repairs and it worked.  Now, my toilet looks wonderful and beautiful.

Wow.......I am so impressed.....Last Saturday I waited all day for another  plumber that was scheduled who  called me 2 times always telling me he was on the way.........Ended up arriving 5 hours late with an attitude, saying his GPS was broken and I gave him wrong directions.............so did not allow him to enter the home. <br /> I called Jim..........he set an appointment.....He gave me a rough estimate based on what I knew had to be done, although I totally understood that once he saw the repair, this could change if more extensive work needed..........And, he even showed up on time and called to confirm he was on the way. <br /> Price was as expected and work done perfectly and efficiently. <br /> The most impressive thing was   COMMUNICATIONS......I could talk to him and he totally understood what had to be done.......No language issues and misunderstanding.  And he actually did know how to follow directions.......... <br /> I would highly recommend Jim.......To find an honest and reliable plumber is such a joy........ <br /> <br />

Jim kept his word on appointment times and displayed a wealth of knowledge on problem resolutions.  The septic pipe repair removed the toilet backup.  The sink faucets now work without leakage.  The Jacuzzi now works very well (all jets function).  Getting hot water throughout the house.  Jim located and repaired hot water pump (no charge). <br />

absolutely wonderfulI thought they would have to cut out more sheetrock but it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. and when they left I couldn't even tell that they were here because they clean up so well. <br />

They did a great job. They were very professional and they were there when they said they would be there. I would recommend them. It only took them 2 days to do the job.
