I have used Plumb Right before and I will continue to use this company. My appointment was scheduled quickly and Frank arrived on time and the work was completed in a timely manner. Great! Plumb Right is my go-to plumber for my personal and rental properties. On this job, previously two different plumbers informed me they would need to cut out my drywall and re-pipe the shower for much much more. The plumbers from Plumb Right took a look and in less than 20 minutes had the old parts removed and were updating the faucet. They even used new parts I had on hand from a rebuild kit to save me money. This is the type of service that I have come to expect from them. Previously they re-routed my water under the kitchen sink to accommodate a new disposal, and I was amazed at the quality of work. FAIRLY priced. Not the cheapest, by no means the most expensive, and always VERY professional. <br />

The office staff made an error recording my phone number and did not give me the notice requested for the plumber's arrival. Luckily someone was home to let the plumber in. The plumber was very professional and fixed the drain. However, I am very disappointed with the pricing. For such a simple job, I feel I was way overcharged.

"Hi [Member name removed] we looked at your job and are glad to have you as a customer please realize that the prices we charge are very fair considering other bigger company's charge 3 times what we do. Often we see home owners try to justify how much something should cost because of what parts cost, but in business we justify what we charge by how much it cost us to provide the service . Our vans cost over $40.000 and the equipment and stock per truck is over $15000 plus all the over head (labor,insurance,gas, etc). It cost over 100,000.00 Just to operate 1 single truck a year. Your job took 2 hours and 40 min total labor time plus parts The parts were $38,40 our labor cost was $100 for your job . Your job cost us 138.40 (not mentioning gas&over head) You were charged 385,00 our profit was 246.60 before taxes. After federal taxes our profit was $160.00. Plumbing is very much a market like any other industry and we try very hard to be competitive there's a saying good service isn't cheap and cheap service is never good.We try very hard to provide our customers with the very best service and very best repair methods and warranty our work . Plumb Right was hired to replace all the pipes and water heaters in my home. I also wanted some of my fixtures fixed and replaced in my showers and bathrooms. They made 43 holes in my ceilings and walls . They originally quoted 26, and I understand there will be some variability, but not to the extent that occurred. They damaged my master bathroom tile and put an additional hole in my ceiling when a pipe broke lose. They have not repaired this damage. They did not cover the floors or keep my home relatively clean. I have very light carpet that is new and I have to have it professionally cleaned now. About mid-way through the job, one of the pipes burst and water started pouring into my bathroom. I was in the house and was able to turn off the main. I called Plumb Right to report this incident and ended up talking to a supervisor who said he would come out the following day to inspect the work and talk to me. I don’t know if he came out, but he did not talk to me. At the end of the job one of the spigots was leaking, it looked like it was leaking through the wall. They came out right away, but I had to insist that they come out immediately. I was not sure if it was an emergency as I could not tell. The shower fixtures were put in poorly and I will have to get them repaired properly. The massive number of holes became a bigger issue as I am still trying to get these properly repaired. They appeared to have no experience doing this work but they conveyed that they did. I did not find them very knowledgeable or experienced. I feel that I have not been given the service that I paid for and my home is now in worse shape, not including the holes, than it was before I started.

Mark and his team were very professional and did an outstanding job. I got several estimates and Plumb Right was clearly more experienced, professional, and provided better service for about the same price as other vendors. I have no doubt that I got a great result for a reasonable price. <br />

"Hi [removed member name] , when we arrived at your home and viewed your leak on your main service there was a second line for your water filtration system that had a shut off valve and was not necessary. Because you already have a valve there to shut the water off on the main. Before we did the job we explained this very clearly to your wife . We even showed her how to shut the water off to the house and to the water filter.We insulated the line because its on the exterior of your home and this will help prevent the line from freezing. When you called to complain that the shut off valve was removed we offered to come back and install a shut off valve where ever you wanted it even though its not necessary. In addition to repairing the primary leak we also replaced the hose bib and other areas that were sure to leak in the future and insulated the pipe. We did not try to raise the price or charge you additional for all the extra work. In our experience the very best plumbing systems have simple designs with as few fittings as possible leaving little chances for future leaks. If you have a certain way that you want something done we try to accommodate our customers but have no way of being able to read minds. The job was done right and had the approval of you wife who was very happy. ."

From the original call to completion - we were pleasantly surprised! This company is extremely professional! They were prompt and courteous and were actually lower than the original price quoted! We had another plumbing company out the day before to give us an estimate.............and it was completely outrageous! We looked online again for a plumbing company and found Plumb Right! Called them and told them exactly what the other company was charging and for what....................they provided us an estimate of services from them right over the phone! Expecting that maybe this estimate was off by a couple hundred dollars - after they arrived - we got a quote that was even lower! HOW GOOD IS THAT! <br /> The whole process was quick and very pleasant! You cannot go wrong by calling Plumb Right! In fact..........gonna be calling them again really quickly for a small plumbing issue! <br /> <br /> <br />

<p>Tech arrived 6:30pm (within a few hours of calling). Nice guy. The job looks great. I am anxious to see how the product will function over time because it didn't take very long to find bad reviews for something I absolutely needed right away. Never does right?:-) The tech installed a State Select which retails on average ~$625 and comes with standard 6yr manufacturer warranty. The job lasted a little over an hour. 1 day in, so far so good!</p> <p>UPDATE: 1 YEAR IN AND STILL GOING GREAT!</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p>

Mark was very professional. He showed up on Sunday to do an estimation and thoroughly explained the problem. He then provided a reasonable cost. His team showed up and did the work as well in a professional manner. I asked them to put their "booties" on as I don't allow shoes in my house and they obliged. It was done well. One small item is that the plumber left a bit of a mess but that is a small issue. <br />

Mark worked very hard before the main repair work could begin to give us as much functionality for as long as possible. He explained everything to our satisfaction before he began. <br /> Of course, we did not want to have to go through this process, but Mark and his team made it go quickly and smoothly. They came out, they were timely, they gave me a quote, that fell in line with everybody else. He quoted me 1400 Dollars, and then I told him that I will compare prices, and he advised me that there would be a lower cost because I am an Angie's List member. He didn't give me the discount from the onset, he just gave it to me because I questioned it.

I called Plumb Right for a second estimate. They were always on time & professional. Communication of what was to be done & when was excellent. Mark Chatham, owner, was very involved from the beginning of the job to completion. The workers were respectful of my home & cleaned up after themselves--inside & outside. This entire experience was as painless as plumbing can be. Mark was very attentive to small details and did not charge for incidental items that were done to complete the job. I would recommend Plumb Right for all of your plumbing needs large or small.

Went great. After purchasing a mammoth disposal at a big box store I realized during installation that it would not fit due to the plumbing placement and odd sink size. Called and they had someone over that day to look at it and give me a quote for relocating the plumbing and offered to install the unit in the process for a small labor charge. Installation is VERY clean. Would definitely use again. I have used in the past for some rental units and they are always able to accommodate. <br />

Same day… 2 hours after call… the courteous, clean plumber arrived. He skillfully unstopped clogged pipe under the kitchen sink, replaced leaking section in another section of the pipe. Gave the quote before doing the work; charged that exact amount when finished. Left the work area clean. Best plumbing service we have had in several years.

We discovered a leak in our ceiling and could hear the dripping as the leak spread, so it was urgent that we get someone to come over as soon as possible. As it was already after 4:00 p.m. on a Friday afternoon, we were concerned that we would not be able <br /> to get a plumber, but Plumb Right agreed to send someone out right away. Frank arrived within a half hour and found the <br /> problem quickly. He used a tool (ram?) to clean out the pipe and put some bleach in it to kill the algae. He advised us to periodically pour in bleach to keep the pipe from getting clogged up again. Since we are new to Texas and never had a/c <br /> unit in the attic before, this was good info to have. He was very professional and personable and we will call them again if we have any other plumbing issues. <br />
