On July 5, 2018 I noticed a somewhat bad leak in the pipe where the hose attaches outside the house and looked on Angies List for a plumber. Called Plumbtech and they sent someone out within a couple hours. He said he could fix the leak and would charge $300. He "fixed" the leak by cutting and completely reconfiguring the pipe and shutoff valve. In October 2018 just 3 months later, I saw that a slow leak had returned in the same place so I called Plumbtech back to let them know. I was told that they would send the same person again and that if it was the same place I would not be charged again. I scheduled an appointment for two days later in the afternoon and no one came. When I called to check the woman that answers their phone said he was delayed on a big job from that morning but he would be there. No one ever came. I called back the next day and was told he would come that day. Nothing. On the next day I told them that the leak was becoming worse and needed them to respond. I was told someone would contact me. When no one did, I called again and now was being told that if there was a problem with the repair it would have begun to leak right away. Well, not true because it didn't begin right away and it was the same place. I found out why later. After several lies about someone responding over several days, I had to call another company. The new company came out and I explained what had been happening. He fixed it and I had to pay another $350 to correct the same thing again. I asked this plumber why it started leaking again and he told me it was because the first time the pipe was not soldered correctly. This is exactly what it looked like based on how the water began to slowly seep from this area and become worse over time. Based on the other "F's" Plumbtech has received along with my experience, it appears that they do not like to be told their repairs didn't hold up and they do not honor their guarantees. Hire this company at your own risk...they do have some A's". But if they decide to hurry through YOUR job and YOUR leak or problem comes back, the same thing could happen to YOU!

For 2 days, the plumber was a “no-show.” When I asked about this, the office manager stated that this company does not schedule appointments. The customer is required to take several days off work and hang out so that the plumber can come by whenever he happens to be in the area. On the third day, the plumber showed up around 6 P.M. He required that I pay the full amount up front, even though he ran out of time to complete the projects. This is how the company operates. They charge the same whether work is completed or not. Within weeks after he left, the “new” valves and bath faucet (which I supplied) began leaking. The company refused to come back and correct the situation without charging an additional $500.00. They stated that they do not guarantee their work and are not licensed.

The tech (Eric) arrived ahead of schedule (called first to make sure it was ok to do so), assessed the situation and recommended the best course of action and gave a clear, complete estimate. The job ended up taking longer than predicted because of the age of the house but Eric came up with creative solutions to work around and solve these problems and was reasonable and transparent about the extra necessary work. He was polite and explained things clearly and patiently.

Went great. Service was done the same day. As I was not at the property, which is rented, the technician stayed in touch with me telephonically through the job and kept me abreast of all developments. E-mailed me an invoice.

I had gotten several estimates and theirs was the best. They were able to get the work done quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased. I would definitely use them again. <br />

It was fine. They came and did the job this morning. The plumber was very nice. He cleaned up afterwards. It went very well. It was very easy.

Generally all went well. They did arrive a little over an hour late but they did call to let me know. They didn't have the water sensor that came with the deal but did come back to install it at a later date. So all the work is complete and the unit works well. <br />

I put the deal in on Sunday night.  They called me first thing on Monday morning.  They said that they would try and schedule me as soon as possible.  The tech guy called me later that morning and said that he could be there by 2 o’clock.  He showed up and got the job done.  I just paid the Big Deal price.

The company came out same day. The service was excellent. The gentleman "Eric" was absolutely excellent, very professional. He represented his company very well.

This was my first experience in buying an Angie's list deal, and I was rather wary, particularly since I had to pay up front, before even talking with the company!  But all went very well.  I bought the deal on Sunday, and was contacted Monday to set up a time for installation, which was 9AM the next day.  At 9:05, "Eric" called to say that an emergency had come in, and he would be somewhat delayed.  I appreciated the notice.  He arrived around ten AM, and took measurements to determine what size hot water heater would fit the space I had for it.  He then went to get it, called me back saying that the 38 gallon was the largest that would fit (I had wanted a 40 gallon, but the 38 was fine.).  When he returned, he took out the old, leaking heater (and later took it away, so I had no disposal cost).  He found some water damage on the floor below, that may need more work at some later time.  The heater took about three hours to install, and once it was installed, I had hot water very quickly!  <br /> Eric was superb: polite,thorough, highly professional and adept.  I highly recommend him, and the company.  The service could not have been better. <br /> I had in the past used a different firm that has good (somewhat mixed) reviews on the list, but it has not been as satisfactory-- usually late, and usually charging an extra "travel fee" that varies greatly between jobs.  PlumbTech had no hidden costs, was expeditious and professional.  <br /> I would certainly use this company again. <br /> <br /> <br />

<p> Jose answered the phone. He said someone would be there in about 1hr. Erik arrived in about 1/2 hr, looked and quoted me a price and I agreed, said he would come next day.  Erik arrived at 11am the next day. Expected to take about 1 and 1/2 hrs but didn't finish till about 3:20pm because of problems taking pipes off and the faucet wouldn't come loose, had to finally cut it loose, then still had to go on roof to try and clean drain.  Still charged me the price quoted and a little extra for the pvc he used and gave me metal turn off valves under sink. </p> <p>Erik and Jose were friendly and courteous. They did what they said they would do for the quoted price.I would recommend them.</p> <br />

Very happy with the very friendly service and would recommend them highly. Came the same day and in a few hours :) p.s. the girls in the office are very pleasant and helpful also. <br />

I called this morning, needing help right away. Sewage was coming out of the shower drain. They had Eric come to my home in an hour. He got right to work and cleared the main line, and video inspected it. He was professional throughout, keeping me updated on progress.

I had called 3 other plumbing companies because my water heater needed to be changed. I called Plumbtech on a Friday afternoon and they had absolutely no problem to come to my house on Saturday morning and install the water heater. These guys were extremely professional, specially the one named JC. He was very helpful over the phone and gave me an accurate estimate of how much the job would cost, unlike other companies that tried to rip me off by constantly offering to send someone to my house without even listening to what the issue was. Don't waste your time and go straight to these people.

Plumbtech provided really amazing services. My house being a little bit older, still has a septic tank. Since I did not have any prior information about septic tanks, I went for 10 years without pumping it out and when I went to remodel my driveway, the company that was going to perform that job recommended to pump it out before any work was done. I went on Google and noticed that Plumbtech had very good reviews and decided to give them a call. The pump truck was at my house in about 30 minutes and the tank was pumped out fairly quick. The company that was working on the driveway was able to proceed that same day, and even they mentioned how prompt and professional Plumbtech had been.
