<p>Worked perfectly, with the only requirement that batteries be changed at times.   alarm.com sold to Monitronics.  The system was administered by them just fine.  Monitronics charged me a small fortune in termination fee when we moved in August 2014 because the buyer did not want the system (system installed in June 2012).   Because I needed more than the default package, I had to pay for my equipment coming in and a small fortune coming out.  Watch out and get a guarantee regarding what fees you may be changed if you move.  </p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />

I found Point Security through alarm.com. I saw alarm.com commercials and wanted what they had to offer so I requested a call, and Travis was the first person to call me, in like 30 seconds after I submitted for a request. I like that right away because with an alarm company you need to know they have fast response time. He was so nice and helpful and explained everything to me, he knew what he was talking about and wasn't pushy at all. I told him I wanted to get a few other quotes and I'd let him know later. I spoke with 3-4 other companies and must have been blown away by Travis because no one compared. For the price and what I'd get, plus the quick response and friendly service made this an easy choice. I decided to look them up online and noticed the were on Angie's List, being a member I read reviews and decided to go with them. In the beginning I had quite a few problems with me AC. The day after they installed my AC went out. I freaked. They came back and what was happening was whatever was happening was over loading my system and flipping the breaker. The did something and then it happened again. I was getting really frustrated and thought I'd have to get rid of the system. They came back again, installed something to prevent that and i haven't had the problem again. I also had problems controlling the AC from my phone. They reset it and then put in another thing and it's been working great. They really know what they're doing there. And, the entire time Travis was friendly and not annoyed at all that I kept having problems. He made me feel like everything was going to be OK, and it has been! I love controlling my AC and alarm from my phone, it's awesome. i also feel at ease with the alarm. it went off one time because my fiance didn't tell me his dad went over, and he didn't know the code. Monitronics called within 30 seconds, pretty fast. Overall very happy with the service and system!

The installation team showed up on time and performed the work faster than was quoted.  They made sure I knew how to use all of the new equipment and that I was satisfied with the installation. <br />

The guy who came out did a free installation for me with the three-year contract that I got with them and I pay them on a monthly basis for that. He did a great job and he was very thorough in explaining everything. He got the job done within an hour and he was great. He actually even called before he came.

Customer service was excellent.  There was no pressure to upgrade or add-on anything.  The installer was very professional and patiently answered all of our questions.  This was initially to be a free upgrade and set up.  The cost was because we decided to add an additional keypad, smoke alarm and glass break sensor.  Each additional component is $100.  The entire system is wireless. <br />

It is a local service provider.  They were fantastic from a service perspective. They did the whole installation because the sensors and some wiring had to be fixed, and they came and did all that free a multiple times. They even came after hours, to fix a problem for us.

It went well.  I had a very old system, which they were able to tie into and bring me all the wonderful technology advancements so that we are now able to utilize our Iphones to control our alarm system and Thermostats and could control door locks, lights etc, but we chose not too at this time. <br /> <br /> <br />

Our home was broken into on Wednesday and on Friday I called around for an alarm company to come to install. I priced over 4 companies and Point Security was the best we got all our doors monitored, glass sensor, motion sensor, and the latest up to date touch key pad, we opted for the mobile app since to add that was so low in price as well. I loved it they were so nice and friendly and even their tech was really nice and explained everything for me. I would definitely refer more clients to this company thank you for giving me the piece of mind I so badly needed during this time. <br />

From my initial contact to the installation, the process was quick and easy.  Everyone I spoke to or met with was friendly and professional.  Installation and equipment was free (part of a special promotion) and the monthly fees are competitive with other companies, both local and national, from which I received quotes. <br />

Point Security installed most of the system on a Monday and completed the job on Friday. <br />

After researching many alarm companies, some nationally owned and some small, we went with Point Security who is owned locally. They work with 2 companies who have the highest ratings in alarm services. They offered no installation fee, no activation fee and state of the art equipment (which I researched!). We live in a 2 story home and have monitoring on ALL our doors and windows, 3 crash sensors, a monitored fire alarm, and a motion sensor. The system is wireless, which I love because if it were smashed we'd still have service. The team was very friendly and professional. We signed a 3 year agreement which is standard in this industry and we pay approximately $45 p/month (paid $0 up front). I definitely recommend them! <br />

This is an enormous upgrade from my previous monitored service. When I test the system the monitoring station is always there. The system is made by Alarm.com. I fell much more secure and have the added peace of mind with the cameras. This company <strong><em> OUTSTANDING</em></strong>!
