Pollman's Custom Upholstery

It went very well. We took one chair and fabric to Mike's shop and he brought it back in 2-3 days to show us how it looked. It was excellent. Mike picked up the remaining six chairs and within a week had them all done. He made a special edging for the fabric using separate pieces of fabric and it worked out fine. We were so pleased with the work he did and the end look of the chairs. Much better than when they were new.

I had fabric and intended to do project myself but kept not getting to it. Pollman's was affordable and super fast, and the work was PRISTINE.

Mike did a fantastic job; waiting for me > until I could consult with family to get the right fabric, and then > once I needed him to quickly on the repair, he did so. Note that he > does not use much email, nor does he run a showroom. His shop is a > shop, and as such is a working area.

It is hard to find upholsters around Cincinnati who can do such work. Pollmans did an outstanding job at a reasonable price. Would use again.

We went to his shop to see his work & set up appointment for him to come to our house to give us an estimate. We purchased our own fabric. They came to pick-up furniture & delivered it back about one week later. They did a wonderful job & we are extremely happy with the results!

Work was great, but he outsourced the furniture regluing to a chair expert who was not timely.  The work that was done by Mr. Pollman was the best, and so was the gluing, but if you need the regluing prepare for a possible wait.  I would gladly use him again, based on the results. <br />

I have 16 antique and near-antique dining chairs I inherited from my grandmother and mother. They badly needed replacement seat covers. Mr. Pollman helped me pick fabric and let me take fabric samples home so I could get a good match to other furniture.  A few chairs needed repair/refinishing, and he referred me to the Chair Repair Shoppe a few blocks away. I am very pleased with the craftsmanship in both shops. The finished chairs look very nice, and have a new lease on life. <br /> This was a very successful project. <br />

He picked up the chair and ottoman on 6/10/14 and returned them complete on the 17th, in which he took the couch. He returned the couch completed on the 25th. The turn around time was fantastic. The work...is BEAUTIFUL! It looks/feels better now than when I bought it 11 years ago! <br />

I have a leather sofa and oversized chair that is 15 years old.  The inner materials of the cushions were worn out and the couch was not comfortable to sit on..too squishy.  I wanted to beef them up and make them much firmer.  I brought them to his shop..6 cushions in all.  He explained the different cushions and materials we could use.  He was very honest about what would work well and what would not.  I picked the cushions up today.  They look great! My couch looks refreshed and brand new!  The turn around time was less than 1 week and Mike did a great job on the cushions.

I took the cushions off all of the chairs and brought them in myself. I was pleased with them. He had to take off all the covers and padding off. I thought they had double covering but they had triple covering. He recommended where to get the new materials. We were very fortunate that the place he recommended they were at the end of a roll so we were able to get a discount on the roll.

It went fine. My wife took the work to them so I do not know anything about the price of the service. The quality of their work was fine. I also do not know about their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism because I did not arrange anything with them.
