<p>It is December 8, 2015. We do not have a new roof. There have not been any deliveries of shingles, etc.  Mr. Ponder has given many excuses about why the roof hasn't been installed.  </p> <p>Last month, a bad storm caused my husband and I to wake up to rain in our bedroom.  Mr. Ponder was aware when we contracted with him in October that our roof was damaged and needed replacing immediately.  There were already patches on the roof from previous leaks.  The most recent leak caused water damage in four rooms of our house, and cost us $3,000 for mitigation services.  We have not yet repaired the damage, for fear that any day, another storm might cause more damage.  Our insurance did not pay for any of the mitigation.  It was obvious from the pictures submitted that our roof had previous patches from damage, and therefore was no longer serviceable.  </p> <p><br /></p> <p>Recently, I asked for a return of our deposit so that we could contract with another company, but the deposit has not been returned.</p> <p>We are an Active Duty Military family and are new to this area.  We now wish we had asked our neighbors for recommendations for roofing companies.</p> <p>I will gladly edit this review when/if a roof is installed by Mr. Ponder and his crew.  For now I fear that we have made a terrible, costly mistake, and I want to be sure that others do not make the same mistake.</p> <br />

He was about as professional as you could get. He was very friendly and got the job done quickly!

He fixed it in about 15 minutes and it doesn't leak anymore. <br />

<p>I called Mr. Ponder to come out and inspect my mother's roof because another contractor mentioned they could see daylight through in the attic.  He came out the very next day and did an extensive inspection. Mr. Ponder did some patch work and vent installation and was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He spent a lot of time doing the job and did not charge her for the work.  He also did not try to sell her on services she did not need.  She plans to use him for additional repairs if needed and would highly recommend him. He is very honest and senior friendly in terms of price and responsiveness. </p> <br />

They were punctual every time; the foreman of the crew spent ample time with us so that we knew everything going on, when the work would be done, etc. Our insurance company gave us some problems, but, basically, we had nothing to do with that; Jacob, the foreman, "fought" with them to get another adjuster who knew, as Jacob did, we needed the roof replaced. He called or texted about everything. Then, when they finished, they cleaned up in the yard, on the deck, on the driveway and sidewalk. I could not ask for better treatment and help. We are, totally, pleased with this company! <br />

I had called my insurance. They came out, met with my insurance, and handled all the paperwork. Ponder Contractors made this experience easy and quick! <br />
