Ponderosa Electric, LLC

Garth and Andy from Ponderosa Electric came to my house and reviewed my projects. They were very knowledgeable and had great ideas for me. They directed me to Home Depot and who to talk to there for my supplies. They are coming back to do the work next week. Although Garth had a medical issue and couldn’t be here, Andy was very capable. He installed all lights, tested them, made sure I was happy, and cleaned up any mess. He was polite and professional. Even though he was working solo, he assured me he would take whatever time was needed to get the work done correctly, and he did. I am very pleased and would recommend them.

Through no fault of the electrician fan was a lemon and they promptly came out with another fan and rehung

Electricians were very professional and clean. They did the installation just as requested.

Called on Oct 31 for an estimate, they were able to get someone out the same day. Scheduled service for 11/15/16. Got a call the morning of the 15th asking if I could delay to the 17th due to 2 people calling in sick. So I explained that because of scheduling, I really needed to get it done that day. Garth showed up later that morning to do by himself what is normally a 2 person job, but he did it by himself in spite of a minor glitch when he discovered that the wall where I wanted the outlet had a horizontal piece of frame about 7 ft off the floor, which would prevent placing the outlet any lower. So he explored another spot in the garage and found no framing problem. I'm not sure exactly how long it took to get the job done, but I think it was only a little over 2 hours and he cleaned up completely before he left. I have used Ponderosa Electric before and will continue to do so. Highly recommended.

Everything worked out well and it looked nice and clean.

We bought the generator for those times that the power goes out. It occurs over here frequently enough. So we decided to get a propane generator. Ponderosa handled all of it, which was fine. They contact me annually to give it a tune up. This last time they charged me something like $300 to $350 for it, that's just too much. I think the first time, it probably cost me $200 or something like that. That's just too great a jump. I've put it in the back of my mind that I've got to look for another company that would maintain my generator. They do a good job, no doubt about it. My only gripe is the sudden hike in their cost. They sent two guys over when they could have sent one. One guy was cleaning up while the other guy did the actual work. That price didn't seem fair to me. The first time when it was installed, some things didn't respond, so the guy had to come back out again. One of the refrigerators, when we had a power outage, went out and the generator was supposed to pick that up. So the guy came over and made the corrections and everything. So far, everything seems okay. The last time we had a power outage, my husband had to go out to the electrical box because not everything came back on and this was after the tuneup. So there was a problem, but we were able to resolve it ourselves. So we didn't call them at all. One of the guys is like a friend to me now, we're friends. For that kind of price, I wouldn't use them. We're retired, we're on social security, we can't afford that kind of price and I do tend to shop around for stuff. I'm also very loyal, but when something like this happens, they lose my loyalty pretty quick. I'm not one that likes confrontation, so I'll switch to somebody else.

Leon arrived within the stated time window and got to work. He was friendly and efficient. There was a problem with some of the new smoke detectors he brought, so he had a partner bring out more, which worked. Leon also fixed a flaky light in my garage door opener.

Wonderful. Got here on schedule. Called before they came. Work was done within an hour. Took old attic fan with them for disposal. Can't beat them. They were effecient, affordable, and did a good job. Rated A from me..... Linda pratt

We met with Dustin initially to get a GFCI outlet replaced. While here for that, he gave us a very reasonable estimate for the project. We were out of town the day the work was done, but came back to a clean home and the work completed exactly the way we'd envisioned! Excellent! <br />

They did a great job. We would have them come back again.
