Ponds To Patios

Ponds to Patios did beautiful work! They took out the old landscaping rock, and overgrown bushes and trees, and added an amazing water feature with surrounding plants and flowers and coordinated all new trees and bushes along the front of our home. We love it! The work was done when scheduled (even though it was the hottest week of the summer!) and the final cost was very close to the original estimate. And, to save us money, Andy was able to take many of the plants and bushes that he removed and replant them in other places in our yard and well as place a few back in the new design in the front. We will definitely call them the next time we need any landscaping ideas or work done.

Andy and his crew turned our backyard nightmare into a garden paradise. I highly recommend them for your landscaping needs. <br /> Our new home came with a built-in water feature in the yard. The previous owners had let it fall into disrepair, but we could tell that it was beautiful at one point. We wanted a professional to inspect it and, if needed, to make necessary repairs. <br /> We found Andy on Angie's List and contacted him because of his unique specialization in water features. We were very happy we did so: Andy is an expert at what he does and is passionate about the design and installation of water features. This came across clearly from our first conversations and carried through into the quality of the final product. <br /> When Andy came out to inspect our fountain we were very disappointed to learn the water feature was in such disrepair that it was flooding our yard (a known issue whose cause we were having trouble pin-pointing). It also had a standing pool of water at its base that was beginning to breed mosquitoes and other forms of wildlife. Further, the previous owners had chosen a very invasive form of decorative grass that had pierced the water barrier and taken over a large portion of the surrounding yard.. <br /> Andy worked with us to come up with a solution that fit our budget while still allowing us to keep a water feature in our yard. He was able to do this by re-using many of the existing materials to save cost (e.g. the water pump, water lines, and a large portion of the rocks). I have not encountered many contractors that were willing to do this over the years, and I have to say I truly respect Andy for being so flexible with us. <br /> To make matters better, he stuck with the budget and delivered us a BEAUTIFUL waterfall all within our negotiated time frame. Over two days, Ponds to Patios removed our old water feature, tilled the earth to remove the root system of the invasive grass, installed a new water barrier, and built us a new fountain. <br /> Andy guaranteed his craftsmanship for a year. Given the quality of the final product, though, I doubt we'll need to call him for service. <br /> I know Ponds-to-patios is not the biggest outfit around the area, but they are definitely dedicated to what they do. They are a passionate and honest business that will work hard to earn your trust and business. <br />

I had talked to Andy on the phone.  He said he would be by to and showed up about 1:00pm and started to work.  I heard the noise from his roller and went out to see him in the front yard.  It took him 45 to 60 minutes to complete the job.  We discussed some other work I wanted done.  He said he would have to check on the price of the product.  He gave me a call back in about 30 to 45 minutes.  We agreed on the scope of the future job. <br />

They are extremely professional and once you are on their schedule it is wonderful. Once they have an address they preview the property to give an estimate. We liked our estimate and haven't regretted calling them! <br />

Andy did a fantastic job.  I have used 3 different companies besides him, but I will only use his company going forward.   You can depend on getting an honest job for an honest price.  He LOVES his work in the pond business, is routinely taking classes to learn about the newest technology and design ideas.  If I didn't already have a pond I like, I would have him install a new one.  He has some really wonderful ideas. <br />

We could not be more pleased with the work from Turf Doctors!  The owner made the initial plans for the work and was able to fit everything we wanted into a small back yard.  Our existing patio was just a concrete slab and the first thing they had to do was remove it.  It took an extra day due to the thickness of the concrete, but they removed it and took all of the concrete away.  The patio was replaced with pavers placed in a lovely shape, allowing for the landscape plants to act as a wall, separating the patio & pond from the rest of the backyard.  The main attraction for us was the addition of the waterfall and fish pond.  Turf Doctors did all of the planning and building. They stocked the pond with fish and water plants.  They brought the necessary water treatment materials for us to start developing the ecosystem.  Landscape around the pond and patio was also a part of the project and the plants were purchased at a local nursery, so it will be easy for us to refer to them as needed. <br /> Every day the workers left, they cleaned up the area and removed debris. Upon completion, they have checked back at least once a week to see how things are progressing.  Anytime we have a question, we feel free to call. <br /> We are now discussing the next phase of our landscaping. We highly recommend Turf Doctors.

Because Turf Doctors had expanded to ponds, we thought we would try them and have our current pond redone. They did a fantastic job hauling in tons of boulders, installing a waterfall and skimmer system, new pond plants and just rebuilding a pond that we can enjoy.  The water is clear so we can enjoy watching our fish and the sound from the waterfall is relaxing and soothing after a long day.  We love it and Andy goes beyond what we expected and stops monthly to make sure the water is clear and there are no problems.  I would recommend him to anyone who needs a pond experience or a good yard company. I would give them an A+ for the work, clean-up and follow through of their services.
