We replaced our Super Gutter since it leaked where it was joined together due to the length. Paul & Jason replaced the gutter and it leaks in the middle where it is connected. They came out numerous times to fix it but finally gave up. These guys have been working on this for months. They will not return phone calls or come out to fix the issue. We are caught holding the bag. Suggest you don' t hire these guys unless you want headaches.

"Every phone call was returned and every appointment set was fulfilled, the statements being told here are simply untrue. The issue was serviced eight times in one year and finally the last time it was serviced the homeowner participated in the water test which showed that the gutter was not leaking ! The only thing I feel we are at fault for was not doing the water test the very first time ! Sometimes issues do arise and sometimes It cannot be avoided but what I feel is extremely important is that the situation gets handled nevertheless ,which it was! Also this job consisted more of just replacing gutter and I see nothing being written to hear about how hassle free The entire job went with the exception of this one small problem which like I said was addressed over and over and over again , never argued, and in the end handled properly at the cost of thousands of dollars in time & labor on my end and yet I never once not return your phone call and or not showed to an appointment that we had set and or not attempted to fix an issue that I never did visualize myself personally ."

It was difficult to contact them at first, it took a long time for a callback, but from that point on things went well. He stopped by for an estimate; very reasonable price, and written estimate. The first planned time did not work out (but I did find out a couple days in advance), but we were not in a hurry and he showed up promptly the second appointment, very quickly (but properly) replaced the screens, cleaned up. Could not ask for more really. I asked him about other work, he talked knowledgeably about screw and complete screen replacement, but did not press (and remember I brought it up). Would definitely use them again.

A tale of two experiences. The first time they answered the phone, and I had my screens fixed in a matter of days. They were great. A few months later, I called back. They made plans to come out several times and didn't show. He would call and make another appointment and not show. I've called. I've emailed. No response. Here I am two months later, my screens are still in need of repair and I have to call someone else. They are either too busy or too disorganized. Not sure, probably both. I'd love to use them, but they disappeared. I hate leaving a bad review, but it is what it is. Proceed with caution.

Paul was very responsive and got the job done on time as promised. Price was very competitive and they worked in tandem with the team that repainted the cage.

It wasn't cheap. We have a big pool cage. They did a nice job but the owner rushed his people to clean up and they didn't do a very good clean up job. I was picking up old screening and stuff for weeks. That would be my main complaint. I got about 3 estimates and I think their price is very fair. The quality of work, I think was A. I think they did a good quality of work. On professionalism, B only because of the lack of clean up after the job. I would say, they did a good job but next time the owner/boss had better supervise the clean up. Because the clean up was not good. They were okay. I didn't really have that much contact with them. I was very busy. I didn't have a lot of time to chitchat.

This is a footnote to my previous review, which I've been meaning to write and am finally getting around to... Unfortunately, after the job was finished and I posted my review, my pool technician noticed metal staining in the pool, due to screws and metal fly away that had fallen in during the re-screening job. This was because many of the old screws had to be sawed off. In hindsight, if they had covered the pool before working on the screening, this could've been prevented. I have to have my pool acid washed to get rid of these stains which will entail draining the pool. I hope that they will consider taking this precaution in the future. Otherwise, as I said in my last review, they were very good.

I recently hired Pool Cage Mechanics to fix a problem with my super gutter that I had from the day I bought the house 2 years ago. It had been poorly constructed and every time it rained the water overflowed my gutter, went all over my deck and the deck <br /> would then flood. Paul and Jason came up with a great design for a solution. They did a great job installing the new super gutter and they fixed my problem. I was also impressed when one of their crews showed up after finishing another job. The crew went instantly to work cleaning up the job site and helping Paul and Jason finish the job. Nobody was standing around or wasting time. They were all very professional. They were also pleasant to interact with and polite. These guys specialize in pool cage repairs; if you need work done on your pool cage they are the best! I am completely happy with the Pool Cage Mechanics and I highly recommend them. <br /> <br />
