,After interviewing several well-known custom builders (several of whom advertise "custom homes on your lot") we were fortunate to have been given the name Potter House Group.  The President of Potter House Group met with us personally and we presented him with a situation that other custom builders who wanted to charge us up to 50% more than Potter House Group.  <br /> Our situation was that lightning struck our custom home and it had to be razed with the exception of the concrete foundation and garage floor. After an initial meeting to review our plans, site, special conditions and consideration for the level of input we desired, Lee calculated an estimate that was realistic, detailed and SIGNIFICANTLY less than the other big name builders we interviewed. <br /> Rebuilding a new custom home in our Township involved a maze of obstacles and required significant expertise in dealing with permits, blueprints, township meetings, neighbors, rules and of course building inspections and sub-contractors.  Lee navigated all the obstacles with expertise and professionalism. <br /> With the help of Potter House Group and its President, Lee M. Rickey, we moved into our home that met more than all of our requirements due to the knowledge and integrity of our builder.  No substandard materials or workmanship was allowed, the process was professionally monitored and we now have the home of our dreams without breaking the bank! <br /> We highly recommend Potter House Group and Lee M. Rickey to anyone interested in honesty, timeliness, quality, professionalism and integrity. You cannot go wrong with Potter House Group and its owner Lee M. Rickey. <br />

The gentleman was good and professional. There wasn’t a hard quote, we didn’t get that far because we gave him our approximate budget and he didn’t think he was able to do anything for that amount. I am sure for the quality of stuff they were mostly likely been doing would be good more than what we were looking for. Basing on with the reviews that were already on Angie’s list, I don’t have any more words to contribute to them unfortunately. Potentially, yes I would use them.

For the second time we are so pleased with our recent contract with Potter House Group.  Our first experience with Potter House Group was a new build construction project.  They found us a lot and built us a custom home about 9 years ago.  Since then we relocated into a 115 year old home and we hired them for our kitchen remodel.  First we did our research, and we sought bids from several contractors.  Potter House Group once again had a competitive quote, that we felt had all the "bases" and potential "surprises" covered.  We also felt that the allowances that were allotted in our estimate allowed us to select quality selections for the fixtures, granite, cabinetry & flooring.  What impressed us the most is that once again we worked directly with the owner, Lee, for the duration of the project.  From the very beginning, Lee was professional, honest, and extremely efficient with our time.  Our kitchen was completely gutted down to the bare studs, removing of walls, flooring, electric, and a back staircase.  When you are without the hub of your home-the kitchen-meeting timelines is very important.   They met all timelines and brought in the necessary resources and tradesmen to perform various scopes of work.  All the inspections that were needed went well too.  Lee addressed any questions or concerns we had during the process responsively.  Without a doubt, Potter House Group will be the contactor we use for the next job.  We are already dreaming of our next project, a master bath addition.  Can?t wait!  Potter House Group is highly recommended!!! <br /> Thank you Lee for a beautiful kitchen!

I was referred to Lee by my realtor. He and I looked over plans for the house making some minor adjustments to fit my needs. Construction began on schedule with no delays during construction . Lee kept me abreast during all phases of construction upon move-in. He and his crew were very professional thru out the build. I did have a few minor problems after moving in and Lee was notified and he responded immediately and the issues were resolved. I would recommend Potter Group Home for your building needs. <br />

Over a period of approximately 3 weeks, water-damaged, drop ceiling tiles, drywall/insulation and carpeting was removed from a basement bedroom following a leak in a water pipe in the ceiling. They treated the studs to remove mold and left a dehumidifier/ large fans to dry out the studs and floor.  <br /> Installed new insulation and drywall, new ceiling tiles, then painted entire room. Carpet was re-installed in the bedroom and stairwell so carpet would match throughout. <br /> The work performed was excellent and personnel were courteous. Besides having some issues with the personnel arriving when scheduled to arrive, we were very satisfied with the whole experience. <br />

Potter House Group managed all aspects of the restoration and dealt with the insurance adjuster and ourselves as needed.  They arrived on time each morning and completed the job far ahead of schedule. <br /> <br /> As I write this, six months later, I really can't think of a single issue that wasn't resolved to our complete satisfaction. The areas in the cottage that had been damaged are now in much better condition than they had been, even before the incident.

They responded quickly to our initial call out and we were very impressed with how well they made the damage safe and weather proof. They were extremely helpful and efficient. We did not hesitate to use them as our contractors once the quotes had been excepted. Lee Ricky, the owner of the company, made us feel completely at ease explaining to us what needed to be done, how and when. He is extremely polite, knowledgeable and considerate. After having a structural survey, Lee explained how his contractors would fix the damage and gave us a realistic and flexible timeframe. Lee arranged for his expert contractors to complete each task as suggested by the structural survey. After important work was completed the work was inspected and anything missed or in need of further work was done before the next stage started. We had different people for roofing, brick work, electrics, painting etc., each and everyone we were pleased with, I am sure that they wouldn't be working for Lee if he wasn't 100% happy with them.. As with most building work there were some unforeseen problems - e.g. more rubble in the roof than expected! The contractors delt with problems as they occurred. The finished work is better than what we had to start with! We were extremely impressed with the brick work - every effort was made to match it with our existing brick.The work is complete and we are very happy with it. Lee Ricky and his team of "merry men" have done a wonderful job. The company Potter House Group can handle anything to do with building I'm sure..................... <br />
