"People really need to read the fine print on contracts and understand them before they put the blame on someone else for their own negligence. What amazes me more is that I did work for this customer under another project under a coupon purchase and she understood how it worked but as soon as she did not receive the amount of stucco repair she wanted which was almost a complete stucco redo she was looking for an excuse to write something bad about me. It does upset when I receive reports like this because I try to do what is best, but the bottom line is that I am in business and I can not do things for free."
"Every one that purchased the coupon read and was well informed on the way it worked including the member. Time was supposed to star when I arrived to do work this means go retrieve materials if needed. As far as the nails go he was supposed to have them there so when we arrived he was unprepared therefore, I had to go get some to use. At this time I informed him that it would be an extra expense. One important piece of information, is that he lives way out of town and it took time to get to his place so when I got a flat tire I tried to change to my spare tire but when I removed my spare from the wrack it was flat also. By the time I got situated it was to late in the day to drive out to his place and work so I called him and explained situation. He says that we worked fast and rushed but the one thing he does not mention is that his barn was a filthy mess full of horse poop and was a terrible place to work so we were trying to get done as fast as we could get out of that situation. This is not an excuse but any one in there right mind would have ran away. I can honestly say that if it was not for my obligation to angies list I would have declined to do work."
