Everything went as planned

the project went very well. They were in and out in half a day. Chad and his sons were actually onsite helping with the work.

Working with Chad was great! The price was very affordable. The team replacing our driveway was fast and efficient. It turned out great! Would definitely use again and refer them.

Chad was very responsive and very easy to work with. He was thorough, detail oriented, and completed the job when he said he would for the price he quoted me. We first have him scheduled in 1st week of October but then our roofing job could not complete in time and had to ask Chad to re-scheduled. He really went out of the way and re-scheduled it multiple times to fit our schedule. They are family owned business and treated us like a family member. It was great to see 2 brothers and their sons on the site working together as one family. The dug out old asphalt and cleaned out the entire area very nicely. Then, leveled and graded the driveway very nice to have very smooth surface. Finally, the beautiful new driveway with very smooth surface of 6 inches of asphalt was put on top to have a very solid and completely new driveway. They brought in an compacted a gravel base, and laid an expert looking asphalt coat over the top of it then. The workmanship and detailing of the work is unmatched of the entire crew. I would highly recommend working with Power Paving and Chad to anyone and I will look to use him again for any needs I have. Five out Five star and very best wishes Power Paving!!

Everything went well. The only issue that I had was that they used my hose and did not roll the hose back up on the hose reel. They just left the hose laying out in my grass. This is not a big deal but they did this 2 days in a row. My expectations of service companies is that I should never know they were there except for the new items they install.

The amount we paid was $600 less than any other quote we received. They were able to accommodate the short date we needed the work to be done to be in HOA compliance. The work took only 3 hrs to remove, re-grade, and pave the entire driveway. When they were done they did a thorough cleanup with only our perfect new driveway as evidence of their being there.

I spoke to Chad who came out right away and gave me a quote explaining how they would prepare the surface and match up to the garage, sidewalk, curb and lawn. They called the night before alerting us they would be out in the morning. About 8:30 am, Milt and his crew showed up and began unloading their equipment. A little later Chad, his brother Mike and their sons joined the crew trimming out the edges preparing the surface. About 9:30 the truck showed up with a load of asphalt and they started resurfacing. They were done by 11, cleaned up and on their way. The surface looks great and makes the house look brand new. I should have done this years ago!

Chad from Power Paving gave me the date and time, his crew showed up 30 min. early and went right to work. Chad arrived a few minutes later and discussed the job again with me going over all the details. Very hard working and friendly crew. Job was finished on time and looked great. Chad then went over the care and maintenance of the new driveway with me. The area was then cleaned and left spotless with a fantastic looking driveway. I will defiantly recommend this company for anyone needing paving or sealcoating.  5***** <br>

They were very accommodating.  Originally we were going to resurface the driveway to correct the problem.  When the village wouldn't approve that fix we changed to a complete replacement of the driveway.  Doing the work was delayed because of a rainy month.   <br>When they did schedule the work they arrived on time and were done before lunch. <br>My only complaint is that during the rainy time I wish they had kept in better touch with me so I knew they hadn't forgotten about me. <br> <br>

The owner came to my residence, gave an estimate, and told me that he was in the area and could complete the job later the same day. At the end of the day, I had a brand new driveway.

We were really excited to find Chad and Power Paving at the beginning of the summer with immediate availability to re-pave our driveway in time for the kids to enjoy it all summer!  Most local companies were booked through July with work from the previous year that got delayed.  We got our permit and were all set for the work to begin.  All things seemed to be going well until... <br /> 1. The guys doing the work realized there were 2 layers of asphalt and called Chad back to investigate.  They told me that we would have a better base if they left it.  They didn't need to use the truck of gravel or the extra few inches of asphalt, not to mention time, but I was only given a $300 discount.  Seemed light, but they were halfway done with the project there was no turning back now.  It also frustrated me a little that we didn't actually NEED the permit since they didn't need to relay the base.  Seemed strange for "professionals' to miss this.  Another $170ish dollars and a few hours of missed work wasted. <br /> 2. I should have looked closer when the job was completed but in my rush to get back to work I overlooked a bubble in the driveway right where we all walk into the house.  The toddlers kept tripping on it, looks like the steamroller missed the corner and there's just enough slant to puddle.  It drives me nuts everytime I walk in the house <br /> 3. For over 2 months now (maybe longer) I have been trying to get in touch with Power Paving to fix this blemish - now the asphalt plants are probably closing for the season!  A few weeks of phone tag and finally one of Chad's sons made it out while I was at work. He was able to provide a quote for seal coating ($280 ouch), but no information on the repair so I waited for Chad to call me.  No calls, I called back, and called again.  Chad finally called back and set up an appointment for a Sat to stop by, I circled the area and made some notes just in case we weren't home.  CHAD WAS A NO SHOW!  So I called back, and called back again (do you see a pattern here) - now there has been no response for 3 weeks and I'm frustrated enough to write this review. <br /> I've given Power Paving plenty of opportunities to make this right.  I even recommended them to a coworker who also had them do her driveway.  It's possible they got a job with my neighbor too.  Is this how you treat a customer who referred you for additional business?  I'm wholly disappointed in how this experience ended with Chad and his company.  I typically like to support family run businesses, but this is some of the worst customer service I've experienced.   <br /> Maybe I should have questioned why they were the only paving company with openings??   <br /> Still looking for a response from the company, maybe this will get some action.  I promise it was probably an easy fix a few months ago and now you just have a disappointed customer to contend with. <br /> Thank you. <br /> Corinne Sayers <br /> <br /> <br />
