PMS was very punctual and worked with me on any requests or questions I had. His price is very reasonable and his service was fast, curtious, and well performed. They kept checking in to see if I had any questions or requests periodically through the work.

Darik and his team were very punctual and responsive. PMS worked a lot with me on differant options with quoting differant ways. They were very curtious and responsive. They worked very hard to make work as least evasive to the house as possible. They always checked in throughout work to ask if I had any questions and if I had any concerns. I would use them again for future work.

Darik was great. He was very knowledgeable and professional. His prices are fair and he didn't pressure us into getting stuff we didn't need or want.

The installation was extremely thorough and well put together. I was not enthused about my choice of subwoofers for my garage and Darik allowed me to return my original choice for partial credit, which allowed me to purchase the perfect combination after further research! Have dealt with Darik since 2008 and will continue to request his expertise.

Darik is a miracle worker.  He basically came into our home and turn a blank canvas into a work of art.  Darik was very friendly, professional and great customer service.  He is a straight shooter.  He provided the best bang for the buck.  Darik has a great process.  He provided initial free pricing and provide details in regards to what I can afford and what I should do, in regards to getting the perfect media room setup. Darik provided expert advise and consultation in regards to what will be provided and worked on and how he will do the work.  He came on time to the job site and worked fast and carefully to install a work of art.  He installed 7.2 surround sound speaker system, professional looking projector that hangs from the ceiling.  All speakers throughout the home are in wall speakers.  In wall speakers look extremely professional and blends seamlessly with the home decor.  He also mounted several 60 inch TVs in the living room and bedrooms.  The mounted TVs appear as if they are floating on the wall.  He made sure that he TVs were level and no wires are in view.  The TVs appear as if they work magically.  I was very pleased with the end result.  The work that he has provided is now the pride of this home.  I like to show off my media room when guest come to the house.  You can see his work via this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7WfxI3ecVI

Terrible is how i will describe my experience with Darik. I purchased a new house and was looking for someone to move my current media installation to my new house. I also wanted to explore upgrading my equipment. In addition, there were some fixtures that I wanted to take from my old home to my new. Additionally, a Ring doorbell was to be installed as well. Let me explain to you how each went - 1. Uninstalling went fine. He had to take out the projector (mounted on the ceiling, take down 5.1 wall mounted speaker system and remove all wires from the receiver, wii, xbox and two dvd players. Did that well, took a $125 and went away. Neatly laid the wires so we could pack it and carry it. Screen was not supposed to be taken out, as I was planning to take a new one. Based on the smooth transaction (my wife managed this, who has very limited knowledge of electronics), we decided to re hire him. 2. He said he would charge $1500 for installation of the media room, and swapping three (or four light fixtures). I asked him whether he can get me new equipment at a better price and he said "man, I cannot beat those internet prices, go ahead and buy and i will it together". I am quite good at research, hence found a new fixed curved screen, receiver etc.. Before buying i asked him of his opinion on what i am buying, and he had no advise to offer. Later, I find out that not only the media installers offer advice on what to buy, but have discounts offered by manufacturers that they can pass on the us. HE IS JUST A GLORIOUS AVERAGE SKILLED HANDYMAN. When he was installing the projector, he boasted (contraty to what he said earlier that he could have got me a discount for $500 for a 3K projector. What were you doing when i was ordering it buddy? 3. there is nothing that can go wrong in the installation of the lights, right? How difficult could it be? He "forgot" the ladder as he did not estimate the height right. I gave him my ladder in my new house, and then I took the light to be swapped to my old house. Guess what, he forgot to bring the ladder. I offered him to get it, but he was in a hurry to leave and hence left the job incomplete to come later. I had to haggle with him so he can come for those light swapping within the next 4 days, because i was selling the house and the buyer would obviouly be mad if i delayed the closing. 4. Now comes the installation of the ring doorbell. He did this when i was not there, and my wife was managing the install. First, he put the door bell in a position that is so close to a joint that you cannot put the screws. He did not tell me that, unless much later. Secondly, the ring was not configured to my wifes phone, and though i could easily do it I told him to do it when he was back to complete his work that was not finished but he said "man, I cannot do anything if your internet is dropping the connection". this without even checking. And he lost the screwdriver, so i cannot really re-install the ring doorbell and secure it as i have no screwdriver. My gardener had installed this doorbell for $20 in my past house much better than him. SLOPPY WORK, REAL SLOPPY WORK .. and cheeky as well, trying to get away. Are you responsible if someone runs away with the bell? 5. Lets talk about the media room install. Now that I have "contracted" him (He always will make you sign documents as if I am running away with my 13,000 square feet house), he had all sorts of issues and put all sorts of caveats to tell me that the wires will be running from outside. So, what am I paying you for - screwing the speakers to the wall and putting up a new screen, plus hoking the wires that are already laid by the previous owner? Really? And now - the screen. After the installation, I am watching my second movie (Superman v/s Batman) with good sound effects, and lo and behold - a tie rod falls down. I am zapped - what happened here. 6. It is a relief that the previous owner had installed the speakers in exactly the same place I wanted, so he had all the holes in the studs etc., so he could just finish the installation in a jiffy and a lot of wires are not running all across the room. 7. Media cabinet positioning - Oh my god, this guys is a genius. He knew that I am trying th put the media cabinet wher we sit, and not near the screen. He did not give me a heads up that I will not be able to use Wii and XBox. When I asked him after I was thinking about it, he said i could do some research and probably get some wireless control for Wii, but he does not know about xbox. So I have brought a wireless wii controller (did not install it yet, dont know if it works), and for Xbox i need to buy a long wire which will run on my floor when my young children try to play in that environment. Thanks a lot for not being able to think this through. 8. Finally, he installed the media cabinet in such a way that it sits in the center and is not facing us where we sit. I have to stand up or stretch if I need to change the channel, or fast forward a DVD. All that was required was to turn the cabinet around. I cannot do that now because there is a big tangle of wires. It is also a heavy media cabinet, and i cannot do it because of back ache issues. 9. TV Stand installation - he installed two TV stands, broke the metal that holds the screw for one of the TV's. He showed me when i saw the TV was not looking steady, and said the stand was low quality. He said he will do something to fix it. Next time, when he came he was going without addressing that, and i reminded him. He took a plastic (that us used to hold cupboards together not to allow children to open it) and used that to secure the TV. I am scared it may fall - have to buy a new stand and call someone else to replace it. 10.. After sales service - lets not forget the after sales service. I tried reaching him to talk about at least two things -fix the tie rod that was not installed properly, and change the media cabinet direction and move it by 3-4 feet. First, he is not reachable by phone (that has been the case in the past as well), and you really need to call him 3-4 times before he really calls you back (including many email follow ups). I have call and email records, in case anyone of you reading this wants details. The cost of the service call is $125. He said that is the minimum he will charge, if i want the media cabinet moving cost, that will be $75 but i need to find something else for him. I reluctantly agree to pay him $75, plus tell him he can get some recessed lights for me - he was holding me hostage as i want my screen fixed and media cabinet in a place where i can use it. we decide on a price, he says he will send me a link for what to buy for lights, and also send an invoice which i need to sign/acknowledge and send back. No response from his side till the day of installation. A night before I ask him that since he has not confirmed, I have not taken leave from my office since i no longer want him to fool my wife and walk away - he says he has blocked time and cannot change it, and insists that i go shopping for him the same morning and he does it the same day. Otherwise he wants 75% upfront payment of all work. Now I loose my temper, I have been accommodating this guy for ever, and trying to create extra work for him so that he can finish what i have paid him to do. I ask him to just come and fix my screen, and he just says no have a nice day, saying we need to cut off our relationship. Buddy, I am asking you to do what I have paid you to, and you are asking me to pay your more so you can potentially fleece me again. Stay away from Darik, if you need a media guy let me know. My friend (I had referred Darik to him, and a couple of others), just used a media guy. He gets 15% rebate on the prices you find on the internet and a pretty good price for media room install. He might respond o this review stating some false facts, incase you need more details, fortunately i have emails for most of the communication. Finally, for this guy, it is all about him -"I can make myself available"," I need you to get this media cabinet ready by the time I start", "I need this, I need that.." and does not ask what w

Our old system was dated and it was complicated to replace but PMS took time to locate the new parts and installed a newer system. We were very pleased with the service, attention to detail, and overall excellent work performed.

We are thrilled with his professionalism, quality of work and ability to explain how use the systems. One of my biggest issues was what to do with our 80" TV in the living room since there was no good location. He immediately suggested hanging it above our fireplace. My only concern was how he would do it so that no wires showed (I'm very picky). I was amazed! He took the mantel off and centered it perfectly with NO wires to be seen! It looks incredible and is exactly the height we needed. I was very impressed that he took the time to explain why it needed to be located where he suggested because of potential heat from the fireplace. I can NOT express how happy we are to have worked with this company!

Darik has installed every audio visual component in my home. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He is always able to efficiently install any new toy that I've purchased and has set up my entire media room in addition. If you are looking for a competent installer at a fair price ? look no further!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. One guy came by and provided the best out of five different quotes I received. The same guy later returned and installed my system in about an hour and a half....BY HISSELF. It was nice to deal with the same person from start to finish and not to mention the end result is flawless. Very satisfied.

I have been amazed by Derik's ability to visualize a custom setup on the spot. All you have to provide are small details of what your interests are and Derik takes it from there. The final product has always been more than what I had envisioned! Derik installed my first media room in 2008, I sold the home with the equipment still installed and to this day, it still rocks the room, without a single issue!
