It was very difficult to make arrangements to do the job. I think he was overwhelmed with the amount of phone calls he received. Once he finally did the work, it was satisfactory.

Very smooth.  Went above and beyond with some extra spackle work.

Fantastic service.  They were very careful around my garden beds and <br /> plantings, treating them as if they were their own.  Great clean up <br /> afterward, it was as if they were never there.  We would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. <br />

Precision Service came out during a special Angie's List was running at the time. Denny Nelson, was professional, thorough, and informative. After the cleaning, he informed us that our gutters needed repair in a few places and he even did what he could do to prevent them from falling down while he was cleaning, but we needed to hire someone to fix the majority of the work. He is hard-working and efficient and I would recommend his work and I believe him to be honest. <br />

First, he was to use Sherman Williams paint and ended up using Doran paint which is considered contractor's paint. Secondly, one of the painter slipped off the ladder while painting above the tub and put his foot into the back wall of the tub, creating a hole about the size of a soccer ball. They repaired it, but over time it started to peel because they used the wrong paint to make the repair. Also caused mold. Called owner and told him I got two estimates to have it repaired correctly. Told me the estimates were too high and did not want to go through his insurance company because his premiums would go up. He finally agreed to have one of the estimates, which was $700. I had the tub repaired, sent the owner pictures of before and after, and he never reimbursed me. After numerous phone calls, he finally paid $500. To date (Nov. 2012) I am still waiting for the additional $200.

They did a great job prepping the walls and painting the rooms.  Very friendly and honest people and good workmanship. <br />

It was an awful experience. They never showed up on time. 50% of the time, they did not show up at all. He always had an excuse that his truck broke down, was caught in traffic. He took my mother's only bathtub and toilet out. He said it would be out for 1 day and it ended up being an entire week. I had to beg for him to install a handle on the bathtub so my mother could use it. He said he would take an entire weekend in June to complete the work, he never showed up. When he did show up, I fired him. My mother had no functioning bathroom as when he left, he took the handle off the toilet, the sink handles and shower nozzle. He attached PVC to lead pipes. The toilet was leaking and there was a hole in the bathtub where a tile had fell. Also his grout work was terrible. We had 1 inch of grout seperating the bathtub and tile. It started at a quarter inch and went to a full inch. The floor was a little uneven and he decided to make up for it with more grout. <br /> <br /> I had to have a liscensed contractor come in to redo all of the work which costed $4,000.00

The guys got to our house on time, did a fine job and did exactly as promised. The service and work was A+

All arrangements were made by telephone - nothing was in writing.  We agreed it would take 4-5 days - which I took to mean full work days.  Denny Nelson led me to believe he could do anything we needed.  He neglected to tell me he was very busy with other jobs and would have to "fit me in" for our work.  He came with one man on Monday, 5/7, for 6.5 hours and replaced the screening but didn't finish with the long side trim.  He didn't show up, call or respond to my calls on Tuesday.  Wednesday they showed up at 11:30 and he did the power washing while the other fellow worked on the garage.  Thursday was the same as Tuesday - nothing.  Friday he showed up alone at 11:30 and left at 1:30.  Nothing on the weekend or no calls.  Monday he came with two other men and worked for 9-1/4 hours.  I had to remind him about the gazebo trim. Garage required a great deal of spackling and sanding and was supposed to have 2 coats of paint applied.  There were also some wet spots that needed treating with <em>Kilz</em>.  The spackling/sanding wasn't done well and only one coat of paint was applied.  We didn't watch his work but he said he had treated the wet spots.  Right now there are 4 small areas of ceiling and side in the garage that are peeling and the bad sanding/spackling work is very apparent. <br /> We had agreed that the job would cost $2800.  I had given him a $1000 downpayment.  After the frustrating week we had endured dealing with his unprofessionalism I felt the job wasn't worth the whole $2800 so I made out the final payment for another $1000.  He threatened to take me to court and I ended up giving him $1500 but not the whole original amount.

<strong>I was swindled and defrauded.  I am out of  thousands of dollars.  My summer home is destroyed.. I  depended on Angie's list to protect me from such criminals. I believe the Better Business Bureau, along with the local media, need to address this problem so others will not be defrauded like me ! BEWARE THIS MAN IS A CRIMINAL! </strong>

They were so awful that I can’t even fathom how they have good ratings on Angie’s List. He only did half of the job and never returned. He was very unresponsive and didn’t answer phone calls. I gave the man a key to my house and I felt like we had a trustworthy bond for the service to be completed appropriately. All he ended up doing was taking my money and running. I did speak to him one final time and told him even if he wasn’t going to do the work, that he should at least get his supplies that he left behind. He said he would, but when he was hanging up the line, I heard him use profanity against my name.

I was really impressed with Denny. The guy knows his stuff! He was able to fit me into his schedule and had the job done pretty quickly. Denny was able to give me some advice on which products to go with, he even met me at the store to pick out my supplies. Precision Service was reasonably priced, talented and very easy to get along with. I will be having Denny back in the summer for additional work! I would recommend Precision Service to anyone! Highly satisfied!!

Every job we have Denny do for us turns out great. He gave us a start date and finish date and it was right on time. Like I said he does a great job every time. And we will use Denny on every job we have.

We waited to write this review untill all the jobs had been done. We are so happy with every job Denny did at our home. He is very knowledgable in all phases. We have Denny on speed dail. If you want quality and dependability then hire Denny. His pricing was right in the middle and quality was way above other contractors.

The job went great. Denny was on time and very polite everyday. He has the ability to do any job you give him with great workmanship and pride. We couldn't be more happier with Dennys work. Thank you Denny

Denny did a great job. He has done a total of 10 different jobs such as replace sinks some doors a lot of painting inside and out .We plan on using Denny on our other property

The workmanship was great. Denny helped us with a lot of different issues we had at our house. The jobs all went as planned.

Bought the Big Deal for $399 for three rooms of interior painting in November and have nothing but stress and aggravation in dealing with Precision Services since then.  Denny blew off first appointment after I made arrangements to work from home in mid-December.  Second appointment he showed up but not til 4 in the afternoon which meant that they only painted two of the three rooms and were there until nearly midnight which caused a problem for me as I had out of town guests coming the next day. Yes, he did help me move the furniture out of the way and because I thought he was nice  I paid him (foolishly) an extra $200 for trim work which he also did not complete -- he only painted the baseboard in two rooms, not the fireplace surround or the trim in the other room as discussed.  He was supposed to have come back the next week...and didn't.  I tried in February and March to get him to come out to complete the work -- he generally ignores your emails and phone calls.  The one time I got him to give me a date, he failed to confirm despite having left him a voice message -- which again shows you how much regard he has for customers.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In calling Angies List, I found out he cashed in the voucher for work that he hadn't completed at my home -- which according to Angies List he should not have done until he finished the work.  At this point, I never want to hear the name Precision Services or Denny Nelson again.  What I do want is a refund for the one room not painted ($133) and 50% back for the trim work not completed ($100) -- and that's being generous given all the problems and stress trying to work with this company.  My first recourse is Angies List and the credit card company but I will also not hesitate to take him to small claims court if all else fails.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <strong>TAKE MY ADVICE -- DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY</strong> -- look at the negative ratings -- they are there for a reason....Your chances of being satisfied with this provider are similar to that of winning the lottery.  <strong> I also hope Angie's List will protect other customers by dropping Precision Services.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Update -- this guy is a complete weasel and liar...what a stupid excuse from an incredibly stupid  guy.  Allergic to cat feces?  Really? Cat feces throughout the house?  Really, you couldn't fabricate anything better?  Hardly satisfied for 4 months -- you kept stringing me along promising to finish and I gave you the benefit of the doubt.  <br /> <br /> Look at the other people on Angie's LIst that he's screwed...I hope someone does take you to court as you seem to have lied/cheated many other people.  <br /> <br /> <em>If you have had a bad experience with this man, please post your comments on all review sites on the internet so others will know not to hire him!</em></strong>

They were excellent to work with.

They arrived an hour late. He had an assistant with him that didn't seem very qualified. I asked him to hang some lights and it took him 3 or 4 hours to do it, however, I felt I could have done it quicker. I asked them to put some boards around the air conditioner and I had to point out that they did it incorrectly. I ended up going to  purchase something to fix the problem they left. They put in a vanity unit and that took a lot of time for them to complete as well. I don't think they were very experienced and didn't communicate well. In the middle of the day I came out to talk to them and they were gone without telling me. They did come back but only stayed 6 hours, when I had paid them for 8 hours work. I think a good handyman could have done the work much quicker. Their communication and quality of work was very poor.

Service was prompt and courteous. Very competent. Denny was very friendly and easy going. I will pass along his name and number to many of my friends!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that he could handle all of my needs. The painting turned out fantastic. Denny helped with my choice in paint. The gutter cleaning was something that definiitly needed to be done, I was very pleased with that. Denny also took time to go to Lowes with me and help me choose which vanity to buy. I am completely satisfied with my entire experience with Precision Service. I am using Denny again in early summer to power wash my home and pool area. Great job Precision Service!
