For starters, I did not receive a reminder call a day or two prior. but that was not very concerning. however, their ETA was 8 to 11. by 9 am when I hadn't heard anything, I was worried because it was President's day and I wasn't sure if they were working. I did attempt to call the company but was unable to reach them because the voice mail was not set up. However, within about an hour I did receive a phone call to ensure me that they were coming. A little after 11 I received another phone call stating that their last job ran later than expected. The painters arrived at about 1230pm. They began to paint but it seemed as though painting was not their Forte. I had to explain that I did not want things such as the closet system "painted to the wall". I also asked if  they were going to place a tarp on carpets. they said they would, but did not. I also asked for the doors and the interior of the window frame to be painted. they were not. toward the end of the night, I told them not to do the interior of window frame because it was getting late. As they were painting I did stop in and check from time to time. In the beginning it looked ok. at some point they were either cleaning brushes or something in our sink. so my husband asked them if it was safe to wash in sink. the painter responded, we'll you bought it. my husband then responded by saying he was the professional. Toward the end of their time, I checked on their progress and noticed that the accent wall (red) did not look good. he told me it was because the paint was wet. I then went to the basement while they were finishing up on our upper level. when I heard movement, I got up to go see how it looked/went. well, as I got to the front door, they were pulling off. they never even had me look at the room, told me they were leaving. I excitedly went up to the room only to be completely disappointed. the room was a mess. there are about 3-4 red Paint stains on my beige carpet. they attempted to clean one spot but it smudged more. I did treat the areas and some of it came out but you can still see red spots. there was also dried pant I'm the carpet; but that was easy to clean. There was gray Paint on the rug in my hallway, when they painted the trim they got whit Paint on the carpet. there aren't any clean lines. there is Paint from walls on ceiling. sections where tape was removed along with the fresh paint. on one wall you can see the previous color thru the new color. there is Paint on the doorknobs to other rooms in the house (front door, bathroom door, bedroom door. light switches. this is my sons bedroom. we took everything out so that it would be easier. but now we can't put the items back.in because the room needs to be redone. I can't move my son into this roomatter the waydens it is. this room needs to be repainted.

It was difficult to schedule the service, but once they came, the work was done well. I think the issue with scheduling was that they had left Angie's List and then got the job. It took some time to confirm with Angie's List that they would be paid.

No contact for over two weeks. The phone number mail box wasn't set up. Couldn't leave message. Contacted by email. They emailed back and wanted my phone number, said they would call when they got phone number. No contact for another week. Emailed and told them to credit my VISA account. Erika Singley called and said she never got info from Angie's List. They had cancelled their contract. Erika said she would try to resolve issues and call me back. She also said that they never received any money, it went to Angie's List. She never called back. Please credit my VISA account. I will have the work performed by someone else. She never called back

Good. They showed up on time and did the work as requested. Did not have a vehicle large enough for the leaf removal, and came back a few days later to remove the bags of leaves.

It was very difficult to reach Preeminent. When I finally did, they set an appointment. However, they never showed up, never called, and didn't answer when I called. I requested and received my money back.

Wonderful! I had two gentlemen who worked for 3 hours and did a terrific job. My front yard looks like someone cares again. They were professional, polite and attentive. My "Heavenly Bamboo" is no longer overgrown, my Rhododendron has been rescued from an aggressive "Burning Bush", the shrubbery under my windows are trimmed and the yard generally neatened and debris bagged for removal. The only tiny negative, was that they did not contact me quickly after I bought the deal, I had to contact them BUT they were very responsive and I am delighted. I will use them again.

The worst Company ever!!!!!! Can I say Angies List is very misleading to what the 8 hours represent to much expected I received the much less. First of all Ms. Erika Singley Company Preeminent Contractors is not the company to provide quality or professional service. My first time using Angies list mind you, and you made a dream a nightmare. After arriving an hour after the allocated time indicated which was already a two hour window. The two painters (4 hours for each is the equal of 8 hours total mind you) did not have the overall supplies needed therefore one had to run to Lowes, as the other continue to provide service (not work). Upon returning, as if Lowes is not the overall supplier for home needs, he still inadequately needed a stick, my husband assisted allowing them to use our mop broom handle. OK here is the skinny ...Horrible job my grandkids could have done better. Flat and semi gloss paint used throughout my home and not as professional knowledge of painting (or down right common sense) would have it. You see the trim and around the trim I have shiny going flat and some main walls are shiny altogether. But the best part they keep track of there time, that 8 hours ended so did they leaving my kitchen, front door and main living room uncompleted, half done and sloppy work. End result I have a messed up paint job, drippings on previous paint job, paint on our brand new installed carpet (as of literally a week ago) and paint on my Mongolian rugs that cost $1500. So Action to take, lets say they have a week for refund, cost of paint job required and rug cleaning, as myself being a Property Manager and having been in this industry for 25 years, trust I know just what measures to take. My suggestion Angie remove them from your list, as I for one will not use this site again if thats the services offered.

Not only did the technicians arrive late, they left a job that requires me to hire another contractor to correct their mistakes. There is paint on my baseboards, paint on my ceilings, paint on my door-frames, and missed spots along some walls. While I certainly appreciate a good deal, in this case I feel I was duped.
