Premier General Contractors

Is there a 0 star option? Premier General Contractors was hired in June 2020 to resolve simple permit issues that a licensed general contractor could have easily resolved. Instead, this company ran off with our money and did absolutely nothing. To date, the permits were never issued and it's been over 90 days since any action has been taken by this company despite the City of Homestead clearly stating in their online system the actions needed to resolve the permit issues. Finally, as homeowners, we got desperate and wound up resolving the majority of issues ourselves by simply following their directions, calling them, emailing them, and following up - everything Premier General Contractors and Mr. Pekel the company owner should have been doing from day one. Mr. Pekel is a sweet talker but consumer beware. In our case, the money given to this company was in essence stolen and the company went missing in action and fails to respond to calls, emails, and text messages.... all of which have been professional. I am sure Mr. Pekel will find the time to respond to this unlike almost 5 months of not communicating with the City of Homestead or this consumer. Do yourself a favor, find a reputable general contractor that doesn't sweet talk you, but rather delivers real results. We just moved to Florida and bought a home. Not knowing anyone and hearing a lot of horror stories made us very skeptical in our 'interview' process of contractors. We met with roughly 6 companies and made the great decision to go with Premier. Mike and his crew were awesome from the get go. He was always proactive in his communication with us and was also very interested in feedback regarding his employees- who were all great by the way! We are very happy with the quality of work and the time they were able to accomplish it in. I would highly recommend using Premier General Contractors for any project! *Disregard the dirt in the front yard, this wasn't due to the construction of Premier it was from replacing a Septic tank.
