Absolutely horrible. They will not fulfill the 10 year warranty. They have ruined the roof and it will require a full roof replacement and structural repairs. Do NOT use this company.

The sales team, office staff and installers were all friendly, helpful and they did quality work. The electrical passed inspection no problem and the solar panels are functioning well. We are happy with the solar and we are looking forward to many sunny days ahead! :-)

Reviews can be misleading, stay away from this company they are a joke, very flakey. However, Installers did a great job. Our project was to start within a 2 week window between 3rd week of July and 1st week in August. The job was pushed out 30 days. Excuses and lip service around scheduling. Start date bumped out another 30 days. More excuses and lip service this time including supply chain issues. It seems nobody verified or secured the equipment. Breech of contract is now a few days away and I have now missed out on the majority of peak generating time of year. The system was installed but completion paperwork was not sent to the electric company until I called asking questions almost 10 days later. More excuses and lip service from the owner. It's now Oct 5 and I'm finally able to start using the system. The owner acknowledges this job didn't go smoothly but offered nothing else in the way of any good faith discount. Cliff, I hope this review inspires you to think about everything that went wrong with this job and take steps to correct or at least be accountable and compensate customers for the inconvenience that your company caused.

They were quick to respond to my request and had exactly what I wanted. They were also willing to install it on a solar installation that they didn't do themselves, which other solar providers were unwilling to do. They ordered the product and contacted me as soon as it came in. Scheduling was quick, they had availability to come out a few days later. They weren't able to complete the job in the time estimated due to the pitch of my roof, but Bob (co-owner) was very open and transparent about the issue. They did come out 3 days later to complete the job so no harm, no foul. Premier Solar NW are a great company and I am probably going to look to them for other opportunities (like solar batteries).

HIRE THEM. I’ve worked with hundreds of contractors across the country and Premier Solar NW is one of the best. They are professional, friendly, communicative, helpful, fast, hard-working, and competitively priced. At each step of the way they exceeded my expectations. You should hire them. A more detailed review below, but, seriously, you should hire them. We asked for solar quotes in August 2017 as everyone was rushing to get their solar jobs done before some of the incentives expired at the end of the year. It was a hectic time for a lot of solar installers, so, unsurprisingly, of the 6 or 7 we contacted, we only got three quotes. Premier Solar NW was the most careful in their estimation, taking more time onsite to get the required information, but also walking us through what we could expect in the installation, the benefits of solar we didn’t even know about, gave several options and explained the good and bad of each, and set the reasonable expectation that it would take some time to turn around quote (it was a busy time for all installers and they were about to spend a week manning a booth at the fair). They provided a quote before we expected them too, and delivered it in person with a full PowerPoint presentation that laid out the benefits of each of the three systems we asked them to quote on, explained all the incentives in greater detail, talked about long-term planning for battery storage, and explained payment options. Their initial price was in the middle of the pack, but because of some options we tweaked, we were able to get it down to about the same as the lowest bid we received for similar product. Dan worked with us on getting that pricing even though he was in the middle of another job (we were talking with Dan’s sales rep). They set the expectation that they wouldn’t be able to install for another 3-4 weeks, but then when they came to do a preliminary site inspection, they said they could do the work in a few days. LIKE CHAMPIONS, they did the work through the smoke coming off the Gorge fire as much as they could take, and got the work done in a few days. There were some complications with the city inspector that they smoothed over. They handled all the permitting, paperwork, and eliminating weird roadblocks we encountered. When the city inspector messed up, Premier Solar NW hired and electrician on their own dime to correct the issue. When our wiring had an issue, Dan and his team came out right away, responding to my wife’s texts immediately, and diagnosed the problem. Dan was just as communicative and responsive to our questions all along the way. Contractors can be bad at a lot of things. Premier Solar NW is exceptional at everything. They communicate clearly and through your preferred channel. They set reasonable expectations and deliver more and earlier if they can. They price fairly and competitively. They explain what they are doing and why. They lay out why they have superior product and methodology. They follow up quickly and effectively. They smooth out problems for you. They work hard. They’re friendly yet professional. They fix things when things go wrong. They take complete responsibility for the job. Again, YOU NEED TO HIRE THEM.

Premier Solar was pleasant to work with from the scope of work, estimation process through the installation and commissioning of our system. They were careful and considerate of our property. The work was done when promised and finished in a timely manner. All of the personnel were cheerful, professional people who believe in solar energy and believe in doing a good job. When they finished the job, they cleaned up behind themselves and the only thing left behind was our fantastic solar system.

They were able to start work sooner than expected due to a cancellation. They showed up when they said they would and were able to do the job in only 2 days which was much faster than I expected. I think they did an excellent job and the inspectors that came to check on it both said they did a nice job as well. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day so there weren't any parts or pieces left around to get in the way. The system is performing as expected and I have no complaints whatsoever.

They were very professional and responsive.  They had material on hand to quicken the process.  They were proactive on assisting with loans.  I would recommend their services.  <br /> They were slightly higher than the lowest bid, but they really seem to know their work. <br />

Dan was very informative and helpful. We never felt any pressure to purchase, he patiently and objectively answered all our questions (we had many!) and alway was prompt to return our calls. Once we started the install process we were informed of every step and given a heads up to any issues he thought they may encounter. <br />

We are very pleased with our solar array which went on-line last week and is working well. I first met Dan Tracy at a Home and Garden show at the Portland Expo Center a couple of years ago and was impressed enough to have retained his card. When I could afford the upfront costs, I contacted him (and other providers) and invited a visit. Dan was quick to come out, knew what he was doing, and declared our 48 ft long, south-facing shed to be an excellent candidate. We invited him to make a presentation and bid. He returned a couple of days later and gave a very nice, low key, explanatory presentation, including costs, power possibilities, incentives, etc. I had previously researched Washington state solar providers, which are necessary to qualify for incentives. Dan was very strongly oriented towards one manufacturer, Itek. I do not know if he would have dealt with the other manufacturer, which has more expensive solar panels, if we had insisted. But we did not. We contacted two other solar installers. One never called back. The other did several days later (after I made a follow-up call). They looked at our situation through Google earth, and emailed us a tentative bid (depending on what we chose), and then called us later - later than they said. They never came out, although they were very nice and seemed competent. We were impressed with the quick and personal interest of Dan. When he was going to be unavoidably late by a half hour, he called; otherwise he was always prompt <br /> The panels had to be ordered and were scheduled to be ready when we were out of town. Dan let us know the status, and he and his installers arrived right on schedule, one week day after we returned. The panel supports were installed the first day, the electrician came the second day and they installed most of the panels. They finished the job on the third day... He arranged for the electrical inspection for the next day, but the inspector did not actually come until the next working day. He had a question about capacity, thinking our electrical panel was not big enough. But after talking to Dan (who told us it was big enough), the inspector pronounced everything OK. Then we had to get our meters replaced. Dan made the arrangements, and although our utility district did not move as fast as we would have liked, they did the job in a reasonable amount of time. <br /> The only point I did not give an and quot;Aand quot; on was the price, and that was largely beyond Dan's control. The incentives in Washington State are very strong, but we are required to use Washington-manufactured panels and certified inverters. With only two panel manufacturers for residential solar, there is not much competition and Washington panels are more expensive. That means the up front costs are higher than elsewhere, but the incentives are so good that, along with the federal tax credit, our system should pay for itself by 2020 or perhaps a year later. These incentives end in 2020. <br /> I strongly recommend Solar Universe and Dan. I also strongly recommend anybody thinking about it in Washington do it soon to take advantage of the incentives.

Turn key installation took a day and a half. We are extremely pleased. Everyone involved was very friendly, polite and professional. Highly recommend.
