Premier Window Coverings is a Hunter Douglas Gallery dealer and we've been covering our client's windows here in Portland for the past 15 years. We do not use sub-contractors so you will always work with an employee of the company. Our window coverings are sure to make your home the envy of the entire neighborhood!

It went very well. Coverings were custom made, required a few weeks for completion, and were subsequently installed quickly and expertly. Installer was prompt, patient, and showed me how to operate shades. <br />

I called all around Portland to find someone who would be willing to <br /> repair them, and preferably at our location. Premier was the only one <br /> that could do this. One other provider could pick them up for a fee <br /> and then mail them to Hunter Douglas, and their price was twice as high <br /> as Premier quoted, including shipping. <br /> Everything was very professional, including working with the person who scheduled the technician, follow up, <br /> the proficiency and promptness of the technician, and payment. <br /> I would not hesitate to use them again for repair or for purchasing new treatments based on this positive experience. <br /> I recommend them. <br />

Did a great job, and promised a lifetime warranty free parts and labor if any repairs were ever needed. I did have a few occasions for repairs, got an appt not more than 1 week out and all was well. One of the blinds broke last week, I stopped by to make an appt and was told that a service call was still free, but there is a separate "trip charge" of $50. I can avoid that charge by bringing the blind by, but still a repair will take two weeks. Without a blind in 90 degree weather on a western exposure window. <br /> To make it worse, I just bought another blind from them in November 2013 and was promised the same free service for life - today they told me that the free service is for the first year, and then a $50 trip charge applies. I am so very unhappy. <br /> <br />

"I apologize for the change in our repair policy. When we started the business 16 years ago, we made a commitment to offering free service to all of our clients and we have stayed true to that for a very long time. We now have over 13,000 clients whom we have done window coverings for. As that number continues to grow, the number of service calls we provide on a daily basis has grown as well. On a weekly basis, close to 50% of our appointments are dedicated to repairing our past clients window coverings. As fuel expenses continued to rise, I had to make the difficult decision 2 years ago to implement a small trip charge to help cushion the cost of these appointments. As you know, there is still no cost for any parts or our labor during our visit. I made this decision to help ensure that we are going to be in business for many years to come. I respect your frustration with this decision and I am sorry that it has upset you. I will speak to our Office Manager and we will flag your file and the trip charge will be waived for any future repair needs you may have. Please understand that this was not a decision that was easy to make, nor was it done as a way to create a profit center for the business. For the past 12 years I have been dealing with Premier Window Coverings on Cornell Rd. Their entire staff has always treated me as though I was the most important client they had. Each visit with their design expert has been a fun and exciting experience. I have redecorated more times than I care to admit and each time the installers completed an installation they almost seemed as excited about the finished product as I was. From curtain rods, odd size honey comb blinds in my sun room to my beautiful plantation shutters I couldn?t <br /> be happier. <br /> The Premier staff is always available to answer questions, their delivery time is excellent and their installers are experts in their field. They stand behind everything they do and the quality of their products and service is surpassed by none. <br />

The account executive was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the products and had been in the industry for a long time. She took the order and they charged me for half. I called them when the order did not appear within the specified time. John checked with Hunter Douglas and found out they had not started cutting for the project, but could have it done within the next week. Given that I had decided to sell the house and didn't want to spend that much on a window covering, they graciously cancelled the order and promptly returned my deposit. <br /> Customer service, as provided by Premier Window covering, is hard to find these days. Rarely do you find a business willing to cancel a late custom order without any hassle. Without hesitation, I would use this company for any of my window covering needs in the future. They are beyond professional. <br />

These guys are pros. Came out punctually and timely for a thoughtful consultation, came back to install blinds on schedule after. We had a problem with the blinds, and the owner got personally involved in fixing it quickly and thoroughly. When you're doing stuff on your house, it's always possible that things won't go as planned, so what I look for in a service provider is someone who's flexible and responsive in making adjustments if needed. In this day and age, it's really rare to see that kind of customer service. I recommended them to family, can't give higher praise than that. <br />

They were prompt in arriving at my home. They were very professional. My only issue was the cost of the blinds. They seemed extremely high priced to me and I only used them for one door panel.

the designer made three visits to the home and we made two visits to the showroom. The designer extended a lot of effort to make sure we were happy with the pattern and material. when we reccived the drapery material and it was installed we were satisfied with the front window but the roman shades were obviously poorly made and didn't fit the windows. We pointed that out and after a lot of discussion the shades were replaced. we finally settled on a type of shade that could have been better quality. The firm gets an A for effort but a C for quality. <br /> Would we use this firm in the future? We really liked the people involved but we would have liked better quality for the money. <br />

Lynn came out to take measurements. She was knowledgeable, professional and did a fabulous job helping me pick colors. <br /> <br /> Their installers were right on time, very skilled and took very little time to install the new blinds. I would highly recommend this company and am, personally, still buying more blinds from them.

We had used them a few years ago for new drapes in our living/dinning area. We used them again because they had been so good to work with. Lynn came out and again was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. A few weeks later Dan came out and installed the blinds. We specifically requested him again because he had done such a good job with the drapes. We were not disappointed. He is also a pleasure to work with. He even repaired the broken cords on an old set of blinds that we had gotten somewhere else - without charge! <br />

The vendor also provided a written estimate as the blind repaired is no longer made; and will eventually need to be replaced. They were prompt, curteous and showed my wife tips for making sure the existing blind would last as long as possible. Best yet,they did not prssure her to buy anything additional and the experience was wonderful. <br />

Premier Windows had excellent service from beginning to end. I never had to go to a showroom, they came to me with samples and Keith was patient and very good with walking me through all my options. We matched the color scheme to existing window treatments and there was never a hard sell for anything. <br /> I rushed my order and it was here within 2 weeks. Dan came and installed and was great. He showed me how to use the new shades and even installed hooks everywhere so that I could wrap the cord up. <br /> Prices were fair - especially if you are an Angie's List member. I would definitely use them again and certainly recommend them to anyone. <br /> <br />

Great experience, would definitely use this company again. They came to my house, helped me choose the right material for my needs and taste. Measured the windows. Were clear about how long it would take - about 2 weeks. Easy to schedule them to come to hang all of the window treatments. It turned out that one window had been mis-measured. They quickly measured it again, remade the treatment, and returned to hand it. Again, were very accomodating in scheduling. The prices were less than I expected, especially for the 2 large windows. <br />

Lynn was very prompt it coming for our estimate. We took her good suggestion, and drove to the Beaverton location,to look at samples. We agreed to the price and paid a 50% deposit on Nov. 15th. <br /> Dan, the installer arrived on January 23rd, and did an excellent job. He had to return on Jan. 28, to put in place a sheer in the small, long, space right next to our front door. <br /> Our only complaint is the length of time it took for completion of the work. <br /> Dan told us that out of the clear blue sky there had been a significant shift from orders for blinds to drapes, and that Premium was overwhelmed. <br /> I seemed to me that they should have been more able to adjust to this good news for them of increased, high-priced orders. <br /> <br />

Needed to order some window coverings to match the ones already in our house and Lynn arrived, matched them and even found that the previous owners had ordered them from their company. Explained their deals and about the rebate (which helped the shock of price). Arrived 6 weeks later and Dan arrived yesterday and put them up and gave me pointers on how to care for them plus all the information about the rebate and warranty's. I would use them again. The Hunter Douglas blinds are expensive but we have bought expensive blinds before where we used to live and they were put in badly and we eventually gave up and threw them out. Then we bought cheap ones and put them up ourselves..and they fell apart. It's better to pay the price and use the professional company:-) <br />
