Presidential Heating & Air Conditioning

Presidential customer for 25 years! I'm a family man and home is heaven. My wife and I just replaced one of three HVAC units in our home. The entire Presidential team helped us like family: selecting the right system, applying a whole bunch of discounts, choosing from amazing warranties, finalizing payment on a great price, immediately scheduling, and today removing the old system and installing a new system. And absolutely and completely clean and without damage to walls and floors! So easy! Thoughtful service.

The Air Conditioner service man who is Walter Gil gave excellent service for the Air Condition, He had great rapport with the customer and answer all the questions that I asked. I rated him five stars for his services.

German was polite, knowledgeable, took time to explain any issues, and did not try to upsell. I will ask for him the next time I need HVAC work done.

The technicians that came out were very professional and knowledgeable. They installed a complete heat pump system and did not leave until I was completely satisfied. The original thermostat that came with the system did not work, so installed a temporary thermostat and order a new one. It was installed the next day. All techs that came to my home were very professional and knowledgeable, the service was great

We have used this company for years. They replaced our furnace and water heater. We have had a service plan with them for years. We highly recommend this company.

Would give 0 stars. Showed up almost 1 hour late. 2 people showed up did not introduce themselves until I asked. Tech did not know why they were there (AC maintenance). Proceeded to tell me Refrigerant low - Do I want to replace - The tech and the other person had no idea the costs. Informed me $575 for 1.5 lbs. They were quick to shove phone in my face to sign. Me being uneducated - looked up why it is low - Consensus is leave - I went out to ask them Why is it low, is it leaking, why have you not discussed with me the situation and just requesting payment to replace Refrigerant. The other gentlemen who later identified himself has a "supervisor" gets in my face and yells and me and says I'm rude. I get upset and argue back that how can you get in my face and say that when I am inquiring about a service and potential costs. He tells Tech to pack up and calls main office to Berate and talk trash about me. Other company came in - NO LOW REFRIDGERANT. RUDE AND DECEITFUL

They were fantastic. Highly professional. On time, communication was great on multiple occasions and for various purposes. I chose them because they were recommended, had longevity and worked with me at every step of the process. I’m so happy with them and the Unit and company. 5 plus stars. Highly recommended

The gentleman (Ayite) did a thorough inspection. He explained that my unit needed a new capacitor. He and his staff followed through and I'm ready for Marylands "heat!"

DC Area - Presidential Heating. We have a two-zone system to cover basement+first floor and separately the second floor and both failed, unbelievably, within a few days of each other while on a trip. Late morning on a Sunday I googled emergency HVAC and saw all these 2 star companies and then I saw an impossibly high rating for Presidential Heating and that they don't charge extra for weekends. Ayite (fantastic) came out and fixed both systems and they were way more than reasonable. And now we have heat upstairs and downstairs! yaaaaaaaa. Our previous HVAC company got their scruples from the Sopranos while Presidential is a godsend.

We originally found found Presidential Heating and Cooling on Angie's List at least 15 years ago. We liked the company immediately. We have been on a contract for at least 10 years. They installed our current furnace. All the employees are great. James came to service our furnace today. We have never had a problem with any of the techs who have come to our house. The office staff is great also.

Good initial visit

Excellent service! I had a 26yr old A/C and Propane furnace that I wanted to update to an ALL ELECTRIC high efficiency heat pump. The price in the estimate was much higher than I was expecting, but they worked with me and brought it down considerably, provided I could accept an install slot in a couple of days due to a cancellation. Go for it, I thought! Unfortunately, it turned out that the estimator/salesman (who shall remain nameless) apparently got a bit confused and set up the equipment as a hybrid propane system - not the all-electric system that I wanted. Ugh. I only realized this when the installers had the indoor unit in place, and I saw the propane burners. Doh! So, I explained the situation to them, and they pulled the unwanted unit out and jumped through the hoops to order the correct unit and its accessories (wiring, breakers etc.), with no change to the price. They were very friendly and polite through all of this even though it meant the wasted work and that they had to come back the next day with the new IDU. Anyway, the final install all went well, and they were very friendly and respectful of the property and explained all the install details as they went (sorry Melvin, for all the pestering!) I'm very happy with the company and the installer's knowledge and professionalism. RECOMMENDED!

Came for routine maintenance and estimate for a humidifier. The customer service was excellent, from scheduling to the job itself. Glad I found them and expect to now be a long term customer.

We have used Presidential for many years. Always great service. Macaih was terrific servicing our system this week.

Jordy Luna is the technician who fixed my condensation drain. He was very professional and experienced. He did a great job! He replaced the entire condensation drain, and it was exceptionally done. The leak on my AC is fixed.

Very poorly. Not responsive to complaints. Couldn’t care less. Please avoid similar unpleasant situation by not using them Philip Anderson

Everyone from Presidential has been friendly and helpful -- great customer service! Glenn came to our home to discuss options to replace our furnace (fuel oil) and AC systems with a heat pump. He immediately understood that we were looking for a heat pump eligible for the new tax credits (unlike another company, who only provided estimates on what they had in stock). He prepared the estimates for 3 different models on site, and he noted that the heat pump eligible for the tax credit would cost about the same as an older model (unlike what the first company told us). We were able to schedule installation quickly, and then the adventures began. Harvey and Andre were here for 12+ hours...because a wire was either never connected at the factory or came loose during shipping. We also had to replace a defective line from our house to the unit. While it was a complicated install (not the fault of Presidential), we rec'd great service from hardworking staff members. Highly recommend!
