Me and my husband decided to use A1 painting after considering several other offers. Our initial meeting with jade the owner went very well. I felt very comfortable with her, and I personally liked the fact that it was a female owned business. I was also sold on the fact that she had a solid time line in mind, and exactly what it would take to get the job done. She wasn't pushy about colors and style. She actually sent us to the paint store that she uses and had us speak to a paint expert to help us with our color decision. In the end we actually chose our own color scheme, but it was nice to have someone to guide us. Now, lets fast forward to the completed job. The house took a little longer than initially discussed. But to be fair our house was very old and the siding was very dry so it took more paint than was anticipated. They also made some repairs and repainted the deck which came out great. We kept our original color for the deck. Jade also made us acquainted with her husband who has his own business as well. He did molding around our back door and windows, which also came out great. In conclusion, there were some hiccups along the way, but Jade was quickly available to deal with any and all issues. We had her direct number and she responded immediately with a resolution to the problem. The house came out looking great, and Her work came with a warranty. I would definitely recommend A1 Painting .

They were prompt when communicating and did a great job on the shed. They also very promptly fixed any spot pointed out. Would recommend.

I had been referred to A1 painting through a friend and I have to say I was very satisfied. Not only was the work performed in a timely manner, the quality was excellent. I recently moved into a home that needed some serious updating and with Jades help we were able to pick colors for the kitchen, living rooms and two bathrooms that set the tone that I was looking for. The work itself was very clean and I did not have to provide any oversight to make sure that things were done correctly. Would definitely use again.

A1 painting was amazing. Service was excellent and at a great price. We had the first floor painted (4 rooms) and the job was completed ahead of schedule. Very satisfied!

Poorly, paint job was terrible, Needs to be redone, Parts left unpainted, globs of paint all over painted surfaces. Edgings done poorly, already painted surfaces have to be repainted. Parts of door left unfinished.

The project went very well. Jade’s staff was on time, explained what they were doing and went right to work. Danny and Christopher were very helpful, polite, and on time each day.

Jade and her team arrived promptly and ready to go. We needed items painted outside the house and inside the house . Her and her team working quickly and efficiently to get the job done. She even came back the next day to double check the work and make sure she covered any items that needed touch ups. We will use again !

When I met with Jade for the initial consultation, I was unsure on how to pick colors that would flow throughout the house. She was very helpful and patient as we walked through the house and I literally brainstormed. She had great ideas and seemed to get the color scheme I was trying to achieve from room to room. Jade completed the project within the timeline agreed and communicated daily to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. The results were stunning! My husband and I are really pleased on how it all turned out.

I called this company to get a quote on some painting I needed done around my home. I spoke with the owner who was very professional and responsive to all my requests. We scheduled a appointment to discuss further details pertaining to my project. The owner was on time and extremely polite by asking to take off their shoes before entering my home. I decided to hire them to paint the inside and outside of my home. I couldn't be more happier the way things went. My house looks amazing and I would highly recommend them to all family and friends. After the painting was completed the owner told me they could epoxy my garage floors, making them look brand new. I decided to give it a shot and was amazed of the outcome. Great company and would hire again

In short, it was the worst contractor experience I have ever had. It was awkward and by far the also the strangest contractor experience I have ever had. It took me this long to write a review, as I was so angry and taken advantage of that I couldn't bring myself to face writing this. In the interest of hoping nobody else will have this happen I have decided to follow through and provide the back story. - It started out friendly and she seemed to be willing to listen to feedback, as there were quality issues from day 1. However, as time went on she just didn't seem to get that the behavior of the team and the quality of the work wasn't even close to normal. I got the sense that she just really didn't think there was any kind of issue and had no interest in doing quality work. -Her team was unsupervised daily and left garbage all over the house. When I say all over the house - it's no exaggeration. She would leave early each day to deal with childcare leaving the teams to run amok. I asked her several times to stay and she just didn't. She clearly didn't have the ability to manage her familial duties and the crews. The garbage strewn about included used under garments (that they took off after wearing and dumped on the floor, these were NOT former pieces being used as rags), old soda cans *all over the house* and boxes so full of random refuse they blocked the ability to get into the rooms. They would even mix up the garbage with our stuff with paint slops all over it ruining many items. This happened *every day*. It got so bad that I had to ask her send her husband to come on a Sunday morning to clean it up because I was sick and tired of them leaving my house like a sty - I read in other reviews that they were messy, but this was disguising. I've had messy contractors before, but this was pure disrespect to our home. Nothing like coming home to someone's undergarments strewn about your floor. After her husband cleaned up he left the under garments on our radiator because I doubt he even believed that the painters could have left something that gross behind. -The quality of the work is so bad that I had to hire two contractors to come and redo the cabinets and paint over the spots around the house. This cost me another $4,000. They had to rip apart the cabinets, scrape and sand and then redo the paint. She even admitted that she way underbid that piece of the work implying that I should have accepted shoddy work. Paint drips everywhere (like comically everywhere like my kids had hit the wine cabinet and done it themselves - all over the exposed beams, splotches all over the house, all over the kids stuff, the floors). I frankly have no idea how they could have possibly have been so messy. It was as if they had to have worked at it. The crazier part is that she seemed to just not see it. Also seemed put out that it needed to be fixed and even after a couple days literally dedicated to clean up the paint mess it was still all over the place. - Entire spots missed all over the place - like huge gaping missed areas of paint. Again, a real head scratcher on how someone could miss huge spots like that. Also matte paint mixed with glossy the same areas which were obvious in the light), sloppily painted over hardware which was explicitly requested not to do, slops of paint all of the floor, entire areas missing a full first coat. Really nuts. We had her in several times to clean up and fix and frankly we grew tired and just wanted her out so we paid her to get her out of the house. - One of the guys working with her explained that he realized the crews just really didn't care about the quality and taking care of our home. I got the sense she was WAY over her head and was just picking up any labor she could get her hands on. - At one point she cried due to the stress. She perceived this as my issue and seemed to believe I was just being difficult. This was my home and the crews just exploded a horrible and expensive paint job all over it. She just didn't seem to understand the work was a crazy level of bad. She also at another time admitted to my husband that she needed to find another line of work and she was looking into taking classes to learn a new trade. In short, maybe she can handle small jobs with a tiny crew but this was far and above beyond her ability. Quality was horrifying, she didn't seem to care and was never around to police her crew and they cared even less.

It went very well. They arrived on schedule, did a beautiful painting job and meticulously cleaned the entire area, as well as cleaned my ladder.

They came in on time and were very clean, they even washed my floors after they were done.. price was reasonable. Jade was very professional, I had never done epoxy floors before and it looks great! Would use them again.

Jade was extremely helpful, flexible, and responsible. She had no problems completing the pantry when we added it last minute nor coming back when the job wasn't finished. It was excellent doing business with her.

had my kitchen cabinet refinished... I had a ugly brown color cabinets and when I called jade for estimate she showed me some that she did and looked great and cheaper than replacing too... I decided to paint them grey and wow what a change... thx for the amazing job you did!
