Needed stucco repair along one side of my house. Contacted company in
July. Set a date for work in early August. Repairs delayed by mutual
agreement of homeowner and contractor. Tried to re-set new work date but
found contractor's phone disconnected. Finally received follow-up call a
few days later. Set new date. Contractor came and began work with a quoted price of $530.00. After removing stucco along most of the side of the house, was told that stucco was bad. Work was completed in one (7) hours session and another (2) session the following day. Contractor late arriving each time. Had to leave job site to acquire materials. work was completed to home owner satisfaction. However the final price was $220.00 higher that original bid.
John power washed the entire house. A few days later, he appeared with a full crew for the job. After carefully protecting and covering all of my new windows, the old stucco was preped and the new stucco applied. The house looks like new and has an updated stucco pattern and we get rave reviewsabout how great it looks. The crew was very professional and cleaned up everything perfectly when the job was completed.
John came out to bid fogging the stucco on our retaining walls. When he was at our home, he noticed many cracks in the stucco of our house and recommended that we patch these cracks. He lamented how atrocious it was that we had so many cracks in a new home (3 years old). We decided not to fog the retaining walls, but instead took his recommendation to have the cracks repaired.
He completed a sample area to ensure he could match the existing stucco texture (we have a fine stucco finish). Although the color of the sample area wasn't a complete match, he said he was sure he could match the finish and color of our existing stucco. We had given him the manufacturer and stucco color #. He made multiple trips to our home to patch the cracks and then try to fog the stucco to match. During this time we had some problems with missed appointments and difficulty reaching him. Much to our dismay, he was unable to blend the patches and gave up. He said he couldn't make it match and we should paint our stucco or have the whole house re-stuccoed. He abandoned our project and left our house covered with horrific patches lines up and down three sides. We had already paid him half of the project total which he refused to refund. He left our house in worse shape then before he started. We had to pay an additional $1700 to hire the builder's stucco subcontractor to repair the patch lines he left.
"HI, THE FIRST TIME I SAW THIS HOUSE I SAW THAT IT HAD THE WORST CRACKS OF ANY NEW HOUSE I HAD EVER SEEN. ON A NEW HOUSE. I SAID GO BACK TO THE CONTRACTOR THAT BUILD IT. I GOT NO ANCER TO THIS, BUT SOMEONE ELSE HAD WORKED ON IT AFTER THE THE CONTRACTOR, RELEASING HIM OF LIBILITY. I DID A SAMPLE PATCH, WITCH WAS OKED, ALL WORK WAS DONE TO THIS STANDARD. CUSTOMER WANTED ONLY THE WORST AREAS DONE. ALL PATCHES WERE MARKED WITH BLUE TAPE, AFTER MARKED PATCHES WERE DONE, EVERY LITTLE MARK ON THE HOUSE NEEDED TO BE DONE, BEFORE I GOT MY MONEY. 2 MEN WENT TO THIS HOUSE 6 TIMES, AND I PAID FOR THE MATERIAL. I DID ALL THE PATCHES AND RECIEVED $550"

The company did a terrific job. John kept us up to date on progress; explained everything he proposed to do; even suggested some improvements.

John Tipton and employees of Prestige Stucco were pleasant and easy to work with. He is very experienced in his trade. His lath work passed inspection by the city inspector with no hitches. When it was time in our remodel for stucco lath or stucco application, their presence was easily arranged. They worked hard and completed quickly. There were lots of corners in our design; they handled this with no problem. He provided us with color samples as we requested.
The applied texture is consistent and appropriate. We think that the pricing was fair especially in consideration of the quality of workmanship.
Very simply, our house looks beautiful with its new stucco.
Prestige arrived on time. I found them to be helpful and courteous. After heavy rains I sometimes find water seepage in the garage probably from the above mentioned planting bed.and he made suggestions as to possible solutions to the problem. I would not hesitate to call them again.

The house had been re-stuccoed before in the early 90's. It was starting to peel and blister and needed to be redone. After checking Angie's List I called John Tipton of Prestige Stucco. John went to the house and called me right away with an estimate. He explained everything that needed to be done and why. He was able to start right away because another job he was scheduled to do was delayed. John and his worker took off the old stucco down to the original. They then patched and prepared the surface for the new stucco. They also replaced all the vents. The new stucco was put on and after it dried enough the retrofit vinyl windows were re-caulked. Everything looked great and I was very happy with the work done. I would definitely recommend this company. They were easy to deal with and did quality work.

John repaired and re-plastered the brick columns of our house that had cracks and peeling paint. He ground the columns to even out the surfaces and applied a new color coat. We are very pleased with the results and are confident that the stucco will look great for many years to come. We highly recommend John and Jesse for any stucco repair job.

Our front entrance has been slowly crumbling since we bought our house several years ago. The original stucco work was in 1968, and there were several issues. John came and looked over the area and talked to us about our options. He demoed the old stucco, put in new stucco and installed new windows which we purchased (he picked them up for us and brought them to the house). He checked in with us frequently during the job. Some of the stucco dried a different color, and he made sure we knew that he would be completing an additional coat to address that issue. When there was still a small area that was not quite the same, he came back again to make sure it was done to our satisfaction. We thoroughly enjoyed working with him and plan to call him in the future for all our stucco needs.

The owner, John Tipton, was very easy to deal with and not only gave me an estimate but took the time to give me an explanation of what they were going to do and why. Price was fair and they did the job in a very professional manner. Very happy with their work and would highly recommend them.

John Tipton and his crew were outstanding. They completed the job on time and within budget. John offered suggestions and solutions to our stucco problems. He was extremely responsive and very professional. He and his crews went above and beyond what we asked them to do. The finished work was amazing. It is almost impossible to see where the patching and repairs were done. Most important, he made us feel as if we were his number one priority even though our job was small. We are very happy with the results and will be calling John for all of our stucco needs.

LOOK NO FURTHER it you want a great job that is very well priced. John T of Prestige Stucco does not just send a crew after he gets the job. John was on site every day working along with his crew. Because I live at the beach very often job bids will automatically go higher. This was not the case with Prestige Stucco. They are very experienced, did a great job, and cleaned up perfectly after the job was finished. I would hire John and Prestige Stucco again for any stucco job that I needed! These days it's hard to find a company that you can trust that will also do a great job. With Prestige Stucco you WILL have both. I highly recommend John Tipton @ Prestige Stucco.

Prestige Stucco - John (and Jesse, his main man) - are awesome! They quoted a very competitive price and stuck to it. The house, a 50 year old tract home, turned out great! It looks like a custom house. John helped us decide on the color we wanted and made suggestions on how to make the house look even better than we originally planned. They were always on time, and on site when he said they would be. They left the job site clean and organized at the end of each day. The house was left in better shape than we expected- he made repairs to problems that sandblasting uncovered and repaired other little blemishes along the way. They are both professionals - hard working, courteous and a genuine pleasure to have around. And the house looks awesome! Our neighbors have all complimented the work and we are ready to give referrals to anyone who asks.

They are fantastic. The cost was very reasonable and they actually came in under budget. They made a mistake with the color and when I brought it to their attention they came back at no expense and never even questioned my inquiry. They redid it.

cannot recommend highly enough. john tipton, the owner, is the ideal contractor in terms of professionalism, ethics, quality and value. unlike other contractors, he always responded in a timely manner and followed up with any problems or concerns we had. he was also present and involved throughout the projects, unlike other contractors whom we saw for the initial bid and then later only the subcontractors were involved. i would have no reservations recommending him or hiring him again.

It was a good quote. They started and finished on time. We had absolutely nothing to complain about. You can't go wrong by using them. He was cordial and I had no reason to contact him afterward. I did try to call him later to recommend him to someone else and the phone number didn’t work.

The front walls of our home had 1960s wood siding; the sides and back of our house were stuccoed. We also had stuccoed eaves that had been painted. John gave our house a great face lift by using the existing siding as shear panels and covering them with paper and chicken wire, then brown coat, and finally color coat in the texture of my choice. The eaves were painted with a bonding agent and stuccoed to match. John is very easy to work with. His primary assistant Jesse was great as were the 5 other guys who were here on the day of the color coat. While there were only 7-8 work days, the project took 3 weeks from start to finish due to a few rain days and also to allow time for the brown coat to crack. Daily and final cleanup was thorough (a few non-recyclables ended up in the wrong bin so check for that). One area of the stucco dried slightly differently and John came out the next day and gave that a fog coat - it all matches now. I've had a few masonry contractors come by and they each noted what a nice job it was. I plan to have John re-stucco the rest of our house. He has given us a quote which clearly showed his attention to detail in terms of areas of damage and ways we can save on overall cost. He met my expectations 100%.
