Prime Pools

I hired prime pools company in March of this year 2023 for the following: Drain and clean pool, a row of about 3 feet of trim tile and to replace and get light in pool working. Well I was told the filter had to be replaced so I bought them when filters arrived I then was told the filter chamber needed replaced so I paid him to order it and found it came with filters so I just kept my extra and finally that part was done. Then the tile which took him a couple of weeks to give me a catalog… I gave him my choice and waited a little more that a week for him to order the tile (after being reminded by me several times). Tile arrived he told me and it took a month for his guys to actually start the work on it in which afterwards left bunches of pieces of cement or plaster at the bottom of my pool right next to where they worked. Now the light was the most stressed out miserable thing I’ve ever had to endure. He had me buy the light he picked out. Then that arrived and he says it’s wrong light and that the one I needed was estimated 800 to 900 dollars then sent the one I had to buy back to store …. From then on I had to keep reminding him to do the work. He showed up one day and from the hole in ground for the wires. He broke away more of the area and says he need to get the electrician so that he may install a transformer… weeks go by then months (all the while I’m trying to get information on when the work would be done and getting nothing but excuses… finally I asked is he the electrician in the world? He then decided to hire a new guy he said could do it but it may be couple of weeks (still no date as to when work would be done) I came to my senses and finally requested my money back for the light and for the labor for doing the job and guess what I am going through listening to all the excuses why I don’t have my refund yet. Last excuse was he is unable to find my invoice and his girl that works there is now on leave to have a baby… As of today I still don’t have my refund and I have become extremely angry, frustrated, stressed and just not well due to all this mess… They basically robbed me and now have to have my lawyer to do something about getting my money back.

Josh is really knowledgeable and helpful and while the work is still in progress I know that he will finish next week!!! Super great man and very happy that I selected him. Thank you Angi!!! Jon

It was amazing service. Attention to detail and made sure the job the job was done right. Also once the check was written and the job was over they answered any questions I still had. I would suggest them for anything that has to do with a pool or spa.

Josh and his team was great, I'd hire them again in a second.

Josh was prompt about getting over to evaluate, provide estimate, and perform repair. We had some confusion over timing, but that was because he was fitting me in between other projects to get the repair done quickly and get my pool up and running. I would definitely work with him again

They were fantastic. Not only was the work done professionally but they also communicated every step of the process. They did what they said and even went above and beyond. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I just wish every company I dealt with had the same level communication.

The project was completed quickly and at a reasonable price. Josh was easy to work with.

I am very pleased with job Josh did. I had to replaced old leaking pump and the same time I wanted to update several valves. I picked Jandy 2 and 3- way valves, very happy with choice and highly recommend it. Josh glued everything well at very first time, no leak. If I need in future some pool help, for sure I will call him, because price was very acceptable and work was professional.

This is one of the worst contractor experiences I've ever had with re-modeling. Way too many issues to list all the problems but here are a few: A 100% job overrun on time commitments - primarily due to no direct supervision throughout most of the job and poor time management and follow up, workers not showing up when promised and not having the courtesy to call and tell me they weren't coming - same is true with the owner, subcontractors were drinking on the job, owner had to fire his main coordinator on my project for taking shortcuts and not showing up on the project causing additional delays, workers did not clean up multiple areas they worked in throughout the project and damaged my yard and flower beds by pouring their mix waste in the yard and beds - basically showed no respect for my property, plastered over the universal wall fitting/mount where I connect my Polaris cleaner causing me to hire another contractor to scrape all the residue out to connect the Polaris cleaner back to operate and the list goes on. I finally hired another contractor to finish up all the remaining things that Prime Pools didn't do. I think most if not all these issues were due to a complete lack of direct supervision that caused delays, misdirection and confusion.

Prime Pools did an excellent job. They even worked during the weekend since I was in a hurry to get the job done. Josh was very easy to work with and gave me a fair price. If I need another repair job I will call them again.

Hiring Prime Pools was an amazing experience, from start to finish. Trish was very kind and knowledgeable while booking my appointment for an estimate. I had A lot of questions so props to her. When Josh arrived at our scheduled appointment time he was dressed professionally and ON TIME. I cant Tell you how many times Iv dealt with contractors that don’t do what they say and when they say it. Prime Pools was a breath of fresh air. Josh really knows what he’s doing. He was also very knowledgeable and even taught me a couple new things I didnt know. I would Recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Trish and Josh for making me and my family feel comfortable and turning our nightmare into a beautiful oasis. I cant wait for warmer weather!!

Prime pools did an amazing job renovating my pool. New plaster and tile and a thorough cleaning has it looking like a brand new pool and ready for the season. They were prompt with responses, answered all my questions, and did an overall wonderful job. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
