The Montes brothers are very organized and customer service focused. The price quote was fast, the roof repair crew was on the job quickly and they did a quality job. Additionally, they provided the best of of the three quotes that I received.

Spencer "repaired" our roof in Nov. 2020 for about $4000 and said he offered a 5 year guarantee. His crew showed up late almost near sunset and "worked" for no more than 2 hours on what he initially said would take half a day. When the roof began leaking in Feb. 2021, he was unreachable for at least two days, and when he finally came out for a temporary repair, he said it was not covered by his warranty (we had to pay $700). He then said that the temporary repair would be warranted for 3 months. It failed in 1month, and we were NEVER able to reach him again. He basically stole our $4000. It took another year for us to find a trustworthy roofer who truly fixed the roof.

Primer was the only company that discussed the rotten wood above the back porch. Other companies were willing to replace the roof over the rotten wood or possibly raising the price later to replace that structure. Primer was very specific in what was required for the repair. Primer was very detailed and took the time to explain the materials used and the process from beginning to end. This building was built in 1885 and I'm not sure if the roof was replaced during our ownership but it had been patched. The wood and brick parapet in the front of the building was in bad condition. It was to repair the parapet and add limestone coping. The decorative cornice had numerous holes and was completely covered with metal then painted the entire cornice with rustoleum. When we did the final walk through we noticed a clay coping was just laying on the side and not attached to the roof at all. When it was pointed out they returned to replace the coping and used cement on the seam. We were very satisfied with the quality of work performed. Prime's estimate was slightly higher than other companies but we felt they were honest and outlined quality work. We felt that we would be happy with the finished product and we were. The entire wooden roof over the porch needed to be replace and we felt that was the reason for the additional cost as well as the limestone coping across the front. We were completely satisfied with the quality of work and the price! I would highly recommend Prime Roofing. So why not rate them 5? Waited more than an hour for our scheduled appointment, debris left by the garage, clay coping left unattached to roof, when these things were pointed out they were immediately corrected and the job was complete. Honestly, when our scheduled appointment was delayed more than an hour I was done but my husband said let's wait a little longer. I'm glad I did!

I waited a few days to discuss the quotes with my wife and determine which roofer was the best for us. That's when I got a call from Spencer, the owner of Prime Roofing Group. He wanted to know if I had come to a decision on contractors. I told him we were still debating which contractor to select. He was the only contractor to ask for our business, which I liked. He also worked with us and explained exactly what we were getting for our money. It was then that I knew our choice was made. I am extremely happy with our selection. Prime Roofing Group knocked it out of the park! Not only did Spencer introduce us to a relatively new product called TPO, he came through on all of his promises and more. Once his team was finished, they asked if they could clean my neighbor's yards, something I was not expecting. They swept and blew any debris from each of our yards and cleaned the porches and sidewalks with water. Their professionalism was top notch. I will be using them again to do other jobs around my property. Not only did they gain my business, they gained my trust as well. Thanks to the entire team for the hard work you put in!

We purchased a new construction home that had some patches to the flat roof. Before putting a roof deck on top of the roof, we had Spencer and his team come out to inspect the roof to ensure there were no additional issues. Spencer actually found a few other latent problems with the roof that needed immediate repair. Thanks to Spencer's detailed inspection, the builder of our home made important repairs that saved us a lot of money and hassle in the long run. Based on Spencer's knowledge, we asked him if there was anything additional we could do to protect our roof before installing a roof deck. He suggested applying a Graco sealant to extend the life of the roof without routine maintenance. We hired him for this job and his work was impeccable. The contractors that came out to complete our roof deck thereafter all commented on how perfectly applied the sealant was and also told us how smart it was for us to have that done before installing our roof deck. We feel very confident that our roof will last a very long time and that the money we are investing in our roof deck will not need to be torn down for roof repairs anytime in the near future.
