They came and went to survey the attic and the garage. They then got the fiberglass ready. they brought the hose from the truck thru the bedroom window and up in the attic which is in the hallway by the bedroom. They then started to spray it in and it took about 2 to 3 hours to fill to the level that we ordered. They were professional. It was really hot that day also. <br />

He adverstised that he is on Angie’s list and BBB so I thoght he was reputable. The work that I requested to have done was done incorrectly and caused more damage that now needs to be fixed. He did not have the proper permits and he’s not acknowledging that he made a mistake.  I wrote him a letter explaining all of the problems that he caused and asked that he contact me to discuss how this can be remedied. He did not call back and won’t respond to any settlement agreement.  I am extremely disappointed in the work that was done and now I have an even bigger problem on my hands.

Mr. Otte is a great salesman and his design was wonderful.  However, he abandoned our job before it was completed.  We had to complete the work ourselves in order to get the permits satisfied.  He doesn't pay his subcontractors.  We have had to do repairs to things that his workmen constructed poorly.  He never finished the second floor master bath and we had to hire another firm to take it over.  At the present time, we're still fixing items in the basement that aren't right.  <br /> We would not do business with him again nor would we recommend him or his firm. <br />

We were originally quoted $2000 but Larry took off $50 because he couldn’t do the financing that he thought he would be able to do through the local gas company.  He also took off $750 because one of the employees popped their foot through the ceiling and so we ended up paying $1200.  When it came to the attic insulation, on insulation days, they arrived on time and completed it in a couple of hours but they had somebody that broke through our drywall in the ceiling, which was not ideal.  He worked with us as far as negotiating and discounting the price because of the poor service that we had and the poor results of having to patch our ceiling but at the end of the day, he made it up by discounting the job.  They were fine with the price, we had three bids, and they were in the middle.  We had a big snow and we still have a lot of snow on our roof compared to the neighbors, but the house does feel warmer especially in our bedroom where it was very cold previously.  It took them a few weeks to get a quote back to us and when we were dealing with the hole in the ceiling, we had to call him every day or email him every day in order to get somebody out to our house.  If we were to count on him to get our ceiling fixed, it would have taken longer because it took six weeks for us to get him to get the ceiling patched and it would have taken even longer if we hadn’t been calling him every day.  Now when we look at the room, it looks like a patch, which is not ideal, we wanted it not to be seen but that is why he heavily discounted us in the end because we weren’t happy with the way the patch looked.  There was two days when Larry said one of his guys would come by and I rearranged my work schedule to make sure that I was home at the time that he had said and nobody came at the proper time, so I had to call them and reschedule.  It was a frustrating experience as far as the whole six weeks to get the hole fixed but he did make up for it by discounting the price.  My carpets are now dirty as there is mud on the carpet because the guy didn’t put down the sheet but in the end, at least he worked with us and gave us a discount, so I can take that $150 and pay somebody else to re-drywall my ceiling if I want.

Their service is awesome. Their explanation and the way they treated us during the process was just phenomenal. Their main worker was really very kind to the kids and very nice. They abided by the rules and the feelings in our home and anytime someone made a mistake they have been quick to fix it and take care of the problem.

again. They are punctual.

Very punctual.  performed what they came to do, cleaned up afterwards,  let me see the finished work.  rehung the ladder on the wall.

They did a good job and I recommend them to others.

It went great. They came in & inspected the atic & then showed me what needed to be done. Then they showed me what would be going in the atic & let me look in that atic after they were done.

I went to a home show. I found that they did basements and insulation. It is an interesting combination. Two people came to do the work. Another company had come in the morning to do the gutter job. The gate to our backyard looked as if it was closed but it must have been ajar. The little dogs escaped. I heard the insulation work stop and one gentleman come down. I did not hear anything for a while so I went outside to check. They had seen the dogs get away. They were out on the street stopping traffic. They helped to catch the dogs so that they would not get hurt. Then they went on with their work. I could not believe it. They were fantastic. They had a little trouble with the paperwork. They went above and beyond to make everything work. They were trying to put through everybody on the list, keyed as a programme, in order the get the insulation put onto the gas stove. They had trouble with the forms and it took a little while to get that all worked out. Once they did that, it was okay. Overall, we had a really good experience with them. They were really nice guys. They worked really hard. I was very pleased with them. Further, they helped to catch the dogs though it was not their fault. They had not left the gate open. I am going to recommend them to a friend of mine. She was waiting to see how it would turn out. I am going to let her know. They try to do as many jobs as they can in one day. I was going to suggest to them how they could make their own life easier by having a checklist which they make up for themselves based on the jobs lined up for the day. This would ensure that they have all the things they need for the day?s jobs when they set out in the morning. This way they would not run short of anything. I do this when I have to do some thing. They had heard me complain about how hot and cold my bedroom got. We were doing insulation inside the walls. So they put a little extra insulation and did not charge us extra for that.
