Hired Pavel to build a deck. Spent two hours going over what I wanted, including no ledger to the house because it's brick veneer (violates IRC R507.9.1.1). He agreed to everything. Day one, he screwed a ledger into the brick. I let him continue with footings. They were poured 8 to 10 inches deep. SC code requires 12 inches minimum (IRC R403.1.4). About half the ledger lumber was untreated interior wood, not pressure treated (violates IRC R507.2). The bolts came out with a basic socket set. One section of ledger ripped off the house by hand. He also cut through a 5 inch root on an oak tree 13 feet away while digging a footing. He did demo my old deck, but threw all debris onto my freshly seeded lawn without warning. Had to remove his work myself and hire a certified builder to start over. Out about $2,500 for nothing usable.

Pavel is hard working, conscientious, reliable, and eager to please his customer. A genuine nice person. Would definitely recommend him.

I cant say enough about how pleased I am with the work Pavel and his crew did. What a hard working group. We had a ice storm a inch of ice on the ground and freezing temps, they still came and worked. . I had other estimates for building my gable front porch but they were all much more expensive and I cant imagine them doing any better job. I am a very pleased customer. hire them you wont be disappointed !!!!

We were having the exterior of our house painted and realized on a Friday that the siding in the front needed to be completely replaced due to significant sun damage. Pavel came out on Saturday to assess the situation (which was essential since the painters were on the job already) and got to work on Monday removing the old siding and completed the job by Tuesday. Both the quality and his pace of work are exceptional. Now the painters can get to work priming and painting the new siding!

Pavel is an expert in his field. He tore off Siding, insulated, reframed from rotten studs, and trusses, and put new siding on. It was great watching him work, he has clearly been doing this for decades, and it shows. I will definitely be hiring him for more work. Five stars!
