We were beginning a very extensive remodeling project and called upon Dave and ProCrete to assist us with a portion. ProCrete remodeled our basement making it flood elevation compliant. He and his crew did an outstanding job laying foundation, concrete, flood vents etc.. We also called upon ProCrete for some additional work necessary on our home to complete our remodel. In working with Dave he always responded promptly, was highly professional and addressed each aspect with attention to detail in all ways. Dave and ProCrete were always knowledgeable and their professional guidance was important to our decision process. He always communicated with us quickly and clearly. In addition, Dave was compassionate and understanding about our objectives and how to conquer those goals in economical way to suit our budget. He and his crew provided a high level of integrity to each portion of the project they tackled. We have continued to work with Dave and ProCrete as we move through our remodel to its’ final stage and would highly recommend him and his firm.

I spent $5200 on a concrete driveway that cracked completely across on a crooked diagonal only three weeks after the full month that I didn't drive on it. That was an additional week beyond their recommended three weeks. I contacted them and Dave said he was sorry it cracked and they would look again when winter was over. The driveway looked nice until it cracked, but the mess that was left after installation cost me additional money to remedy. The driveway was entirely in the front yard, yet a 4 foot by 4 foot corner of my backyard was dug up and concrete was splashed all over the back fence. Whatever was buried there is solid and I had to scrape and repaint the fence. The proposal called for "demolition and removal of existing concrete, stone and grass," but holes along the side of the driveway were dug and filled with stone that I had to pay to have someone else remove. The proposal said, "removal and reinstallation of steps is included," however, the concrete was poured right around the wooden deck steps. This left a messy finish and I'll have to chip them out and replace the concrete when the steps need to be replaced. I did not hear from ProCrete this spring so I emailed in June 2018. I just got ProCrete's response on August 2nd. It read, "Unfortunately set up cracks do occur. We put control joints in the correct locations but it still happens from time to time. Those cracks in the picture are very tight. If they open up we can fill them with caulk." So much for the warranty in their Home Advisor profile. On August 8th, I noticed a new crack in a different slab of the concrete that was poured and emailed ProCrete with no response yet. I will be interested to see when I replace the cracked slab if it is actually the 5 inches thick that was in the proposal. They seemed to cut corners everywhere they could and refuse to stand by their work.

"We apologize for the unfortunate set of circumstances with your driveway. The concrete was installed properly with the necessary amount of expansion joints and control cuts. In certain situations concrete will crack outside of the control joints and in this instance that is what occurred. We offered to caulk any errand cracking at no cost to minimize the separation. Our history shows that our work is notoriously clean, professional and of high quality."

We are a national Contractor doing work all over the US, jobs are small/medium in scale and the schedules are very tight and must be maintained, of the 50+ concrete contractors we will typically use each year, ProCrete is hands down at the top of the list. Great pricing, always on time with completions, quality of work is always excellent and they are always willing to go the extra mile (literally as they have done projects for me in NJ, NY, MD, DE). I only wish they were nationwide as I would give them ALL my work, without question!! Very Highly recommended!!

I would highly recommend Procrete. They are a hard working family business. They were efficient and pleasant to deal with. The work was high quality for a reasonable price. The start date changed a few times due to weather conditions but they called and updated me each time and were there when they said. I am very pleased with the work by the provider. The workmen were very professional and responded to any questions or concerns that I had. The men worked in weather with a heat index of over 100 degrees, and only stopped a few times for water breaks. I was impressed by their work ethic. The concrete work exceeded my expectations and I would Pro-Crete for any other work I needed and recommend them to my friends and neighbors

<p>I am writing this recommendation for Procrete and their owner Dave McBride. I decided to engage Dave and Procrete after searching for a hardscape / paver contractor local to my summer house in Margate. There are many contractors who will work at the shore, but my preference was to find a company based in the area vs. an hour away. </p> <p>Dave was very professional in his approach, and consultative. I shared with him what we were looking for, to completely rebuild our back yard, from 50 year old ugly cracked concrete and a chain link fence to a new vinyl fence and pavers.<br></p> <p>We shared our vision, and Dave’s firm provided a sketch of what the back yard could look like with a specific paver design, which we ended up going with – while making a few changes along the way.<br></p> <p>We also had Dave install a built-in gas firepit that has exceeded our expectations. It is now the central point of our new back yard.<br></p> <p>While at it, I also had Dave replace my old cracked driveway with new concrete and pavers for my front walkway. AS his team was already at my house doing a job, the extra cost was not prohibitive.<br></p> <p>My biggest concern going in was using a contractor that I did not have a previous referral for. Dave provided referrals plus a list of properties in the local area that he did work on.<br></p> <p>I must say, the work was top notch and we are thrilled with how our back yard came out. I had no less than 4 neighbors comment on the work they were doing and their commitment to doing a good job vs. a fast job.<br></p> <p>I have been screwed before by contractors that finish the job 80-90% and then never come back to truly complete the job. Dave even came back to finish all of my items on a punch list after the job was done.<br></p> <p>I 100% recommend Dave and Procrete for hardscaping, paver and concrete work.<br></p>
