There were so many issues I can't even list them all. All I have to say is no one needs to use them! Apparently they are under new management and have changed their name to J&J Movers. We weren't told the truth about delays, they were 2 hrs later to start packing, they were to leave the next morning but didn't get to the new house until a day later, and whenever we tried to find out what was going on, the owner would ******** us about what the problems were. It was a terrible experience!

Very disappointed with the moving help I recieved. They were over an hour and a half late, they were extremely slow, and very unprepared. They ruined the schedule of our moving day and caused my husband and I a TON of extra backbreaking moving work ourselves. Would not recommend them.

We hired Professional Movers located in Navarre, Florida. Overall we are happy with the results of that decision. Their price quoted was considerably less than others and they honored the price quote. They arrived on time, packed our furniture for a move out of state, and delivered the furniture at the agreed time and place. I believe I would hire them again, however the packing left a lot to be desired. A few things were broken but not many. I have managed to repair two of the items that were broken. The individual that packed our kitchen items did an excellent job. The individual that packed other items did not. We think it's a miracle that more stuff was not broken or damaged I would hire them again, but I would pray very hard that nothing would be broken.

Horrible! I spoke to Bob Funderburk and explained how much furniture and other items had to be moved and he said we would only need 2 people to move the items. He quoted a price of $95 per hour and $60 for their truck. The 2 guys showed up on time, however, they were the SLOWEST movers I have ever seen and I have used several movers over the years. One of the guys told us that it was his first day back at work after being off 2 months due to an injury.....well, he shouldn't have come back when he did because he obviously was not ready. The other guy was young and appeared to be in good shape, however, they had already moved another family and were exhausted when they arrived. They also told us that we should have had a 3 man crew but one person had quit the week before so Bob gave us the wrong information from the start. They said that the other 3 man crew had already moved 2 homes that day. After 5 hours, they were still not through packing!!! I called Bob and asked him if he had another person to help. He said he would call the guys and find out what was going on and call me back. Well, he did call them but he never called me back. They showed up at 1:00 PM and unloaded at 10:00 PM. One of the guys showed us an invoice for 10 hours and a charge of $75 for the truck. Apparently, they were too tired to count because 1 until 10 is only 9 hours so my husband paid them for 9 hours instead. I told him to pay the entire amount because I didn't want there to be any way for Bob to accuse me of not paying. <br /> I called Bob a few days later and explained the whole problem. What should have actually taken around 6 hours, took them 9 instead because they were so slow......I am a 52 year old female and I was moving faster than they were. Not only that, but they both took OUR time to fold their furniture pads as they were unloading! Bob claimed that he had already given us a discount because he only charged us for 9 hours......but he didn't give us any discount at all because he charged us the full price for the 9 hours that they were there. I guess he feels like overcharging by an hour is standard business procedure and then he will act like he's giving a discount by reducing by an hour? I never could get him to understand that he didn't give us any discount at all....he charged us the full price and even over-charged for the truck, which he initially quoted as $60. <br /> After I threatened to report him to the BBB, he finally agreed to refund $150. I gave him my address and he told me he would mail it the next day. A week went by with no check so I called his partner, Jason Funderburk. Jason said Bob told him about the problem and he would mail the check himself that day. Another week has gone by and still no check. We called Bob again and he said he had thought about it some more and decided that he had already given us a discount and didn't feel like he owed us anything else. <br /> I'm not sure if the man can't add or if he has a mental problem that prevents him from understanding that he didn't give us any discount and actually overcharged us for the truck. Perhaps if he used his fingers to count, he might finally understand that 1:00 to 10:00 is NOT 10 hours! And even taking 9 hours to do what should have taken 6 hours is POOR service. <br /> I would NEVER use this company again and recommend that anyone else choose ANY other company unless you are OK with being overcharged for poor service. <br /> <br /> <br />

Jason and two others arrived at home with truck. Very prompt and professional service. Job took all day due to the size of the move. Took two truckloads. Everything carefully packed and transported. We have used other movers in the past. This is a first class crew. Would not hesitate to use them again. overall excellent service!! <br />

Overall, the move went well. Jason delivered out items and was able to pack the items with minimal damage. He was very professional and friendly and is easy to work with. Alot of movers are not nice at all! He took great care with our items and made it a seamless experience. The holidays is always a busy time and he had to complete our move the day before Thanksgiving. His price was the best overall by over $1000, which is alot for a 700 mile intrastate move! We were glad we went with him. You will not be disappointed! <br />

These guys were able to properly hook up several appliances which were otherwise going to be a headache for me. Additionally, they did everything necessary to fit our large fridge even though the house we moved into is extremely tight. Regardless, <br /> you cannot go wrong with the crew from Professional Movers, they really took care of business and the Angie's list deal makes it that much sweeter. <br />

I would defiantly use them in the future because owner showed us that he takes pride in his business and name. The only thing I would recommend is to use 3 guys if you have a whole house. It'll be cheaper in the long run.

Jason and John arrived on time and worked non-stop. They were very efficient but took the time to protect our furniture and carefully load our belongings. They even helped my husband load things into his truck and helped him unload them at the storage facility. We have already recommended them to another family and they have also been very pleased with their services. We were so pleased that we have agreed to use them in several months to move us from our temporary location to our new location out of state. <br />

Started loading as soon as they arrived which was great! Came with all necessary materials. The service was fabulous! I had certain items that needed to be moved and certain ones that I didn't and they listened to every detail.Nothing came out broken. Personable, on-time, no tricks.

As we had previously agreed, the two movers with their truck met me at 8:30 a.m. at the commercial storage facility. I entered the appropriate codes so that we could pass through the gate and then unlocked the storage unit assigned to me. The two movers then proceeded to remove the furniture from the unit and load it onto their truck. They completed this about 10 a.m. We then drove over to the location of the condominium. We arrive about 10:30. I had arranged with our condominium security and maintenance staff that the movers would be providing a service for me and the maintenance people met the movers and locked down a elevator for their usage. The movers then removed the furniture from the track and loaded it onto the elevator and then into my condominium. They finished the move at about 12:30. The movers worked continuously and overall did a good job. <br /> There was one casualty of the move. One of the support feet for my dining room table broke into 2 pieces. The movers said that it was because the legs were loose when it was picked up and the foot broke during the drive to the condominium. The movers had some glue and glued the leg. So far it is holding up. <br /> <br /> <br />

Both were professional and did a great job packing. No hour smoke breaks. These guys know how to take care of their customers. I will use these guys again for sure. Awesome service!
