David was very polite and professional. He did a great job doing all the trim. I felt terrible that the Big Deal was so incredibly inexpensive considering the amount of detail and steady hand it took. I'm definitely going to use him again for more extensive work at my home, my mothers, and recommend to everyone. You won't be disappointed and know you'll get a great job at a great price. Thank u ! David arrived promptly at 8:30 as promised and set right up. <br /> Once he accessed what I wanted painted in the bathroom, he let me know that he <br /> could also paint additional trim in the master bedroom, as he would have the <br /> bathroom done well before the hours I paid for. He did a great job of prepping <br /> the surfaces, was extremely clean, and did a great job. I was particularly <br /> impressed with the painting he did on the areas that I hadn?t expected to be <br /> painted, as I hadn?t removed the door handles, etc. in preparation for paint. <br /> Once the work was completed, he asked me to go over it thoroughly and let me <br /> know that he would be happy to come back and do any touch-ups needed if I so <br /> desired. I also had him quote me a price for an additional bedroom I plan to <br /> have painted in the future, and the price quoted was extremely reasonable. I <br /> highly recommend him and will be using him again in the future. <br /> <br /> <br />

Dave was able to fit us in the next day.  He showed up on time.  Dave was friendly and reasonably priced.  The next week he power washed our roof.  Again, he was on time and worked all day (and some into the next) to get the job done. <br />

He is painter who is concerned that he get the job right and knows his trade.  Beyond that, he is dependable, honest, trustworthy and pleasant to work with.  I would hire him again without hesitation.  If you need a quality painter, he is your guy! <br />

David arrived on time and went with me to choose the paint color and the quantity.  He prepared the space to work moving the furniture and protecting the floor and he worked diligently and very professionally.  The results are very satisfactory and he finished in the time he had predicted. <br />

The orginal scope of work was to replace some rotten wood on deck trim and also on a gable and to repaint the entire deck, lattice work, and gable. The orginal estimate was for $800 and the time estimate was 4 days. Dave was very nice and responsive to calls.  However, it did take a long time to get the deck painted.  It took 3 weeks to get everything primed and then about half a week to replace rotten trim around the deck and paint it.  Since it had taken so long to do just the deck, I decided not to get the gable work done.  Also, the cost had gone up becuase the material was underestimated and I asked for 2 coats on the floor and stairs.  The work was completed on Wednesday of this week.  Today while enjoying time on the deck, I noticed alot of the wood work is slanted and/or not nailed on very well at all and well need to be fixed. Also there is a thick piece of wood that has very deep cuts in it that I was told would be filled and painted over to make the wood look nice and smooth; however, he just painted over it.   Another piece of trim was cut too short.  This was identified the day before the job was finished and I was told he was going to replace it; however, it did not get done.  Also, the paint job for the stairs was not fully compeleted. The side pieces were not painted completely.  You cannot tell looking dead on at the stair; however, when you stand at an angle to the stairs, it is very  noticeable.  <br /> I gave him a B for quality for work because he is a painter not a woodworker and the paint job that was completed looks good except for the stairs. The quality of the wood work would be ranked a C at the most. <br /> Overall, I would not hire him again to do another project similar to this.  However, if I had a job that was strickly just painting and was not worried about meeting a strict timeline, I would hire him again since his price is so low compared to other companies on Angie's List. <br /> Side note: I took lots of pictures of the before and afterwork.  It would be great if Angie's List had a place to upload these so other people can see what was actually done. <br />

He did an excellent job and has an eye for detail and what it takes to make it look good. He even did extra that was not part of the original bid at a very fair price. <br />

Very competent painter.  Good quality work.  Sheetrock and popcorn ceiling work was a challenge. One man operation so it took a little longer than expected but the quality of work and flexibility in working around getting our dogs in and out was appreciated. Very personable. <br />

Dave was very professional and detailed oriented. The job took longer than originally estimated but there were issues with the walls that were not originally anticipated. The walls look great and I would definitely use him again!

The work was great. We hired him to come back for an additional day of painting. <br />

Hard worker, punctual, left the job for several hours mid-day to take care of personal business, but completed the 8 hours of work and came back in the morning to make sure all was done.  The ceiling in one bedroom still shows a bit of color through the white, and the cut in work at the ceiling of the second bedroom is very noticeably a different shade from the remaining wall. <br /> On sum, a "B" from us.  Nice guy, worked hard, would use again - but I would supervise more closely :0) <br />

Dave arrived on time and set out to get the job done. He was courteous, pleasant and we struck up a great working relationship from the outset. He was thorough, efficient and the quality of his work was professional. I will use him again when I have future jobs. <br />

He is very professional and right on time. Sorry to see him move to Florida, but he will do fine once people see his work. <br />

Dave was always on time and ready to go.  He told me he had steady hands to paint around trim, brackets, etc and he does.  He was also very careful about "dripping" on the white spindles and white plate and had minimum touch-up.  I would use Dave again. <br /> <br />
