We've worked with Denny over the past 6 months on a bathroom remodel and some smaller jobs. He's a nice guy and has been very professional. He does quality work for a reasonable price. I consider us very picky and perfectionist and we consider the work very good quality. We will continue to use Denny for work as we need it and would recommend him to others for similar work.

See above and DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Per Angie's List's very long membership agreement (which you should read), Angie's list WILL NOT do it for you. A service provider may say he's licensed even if he is not, so check. In this particular case, the license can be checked under the company name. Also, if you're wondering why the other reviews are glowing and why we're the only unhappy clients, look up the previous company - Precision Services. We're not the only suckers out there - just the biggest ones. And - if Angie's List will help, I am happy to add pictures. Since Denny already posted about 30 pictures of our house on his FB page without our permission, I can't see why it hurts to post a few gutted more, but I've not quite figured it out yet.
First I'd like to thank Denny for the time and effort he put into completing my remodeling project which turned out amazing. Denny is very knowledgeable and an excellent problem solver. His crew cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day, I was actually impressed with the cleanliness they displayed. I would definitely hire again.
First l want to say that he's a busy guy and it may take a while for him to get to your job, especially if you buy a Big Deal. I bought the Big Deal through Angie's List in August and the work wasn't done until December. I admit, I was a little worried! I'm glad I was patient and waited, because the work he did is beautiful. And once they got into the job, they were here early every day and put in full days. He worked really hard to make sure my bathroom would be done by Christmas, and it was.
There were several things I was really impressed with. First, the quality of the work. Denny knows what he's doing, and he's meticulous and very concerned with doing things right. My brother, who is a super perfectionist and did a lot of work on his own house, saw my new bathroom and commented on how well it was done. And he's really hard to impress.
Second, Denny is a problem solver. My house is 70 years old and I'm sure it was no picnic working on it. He ran into several problems (as is expected with an old home), especially with my front door and the bathroom, and figured out a solution each time.
Third, he actually went out of his way to save me money. He knew that I'm a single mom and that I'm putting the house up for sale soon, and several times he steered me away from high-end fixtures in the bathroom, and encouraged me to put my money where it would have a greater return. As he reminded me several times, I'm selling anyway!
We did have a couple issues, which he just resolved today. After the bathroom was done, I discovered there was a leak under the sink, and he just came out and fixed that. A bigger problem was that a can of paint got spilled on the rug in my spare room. I had given Denny and his guys permission to store their equipment in there at the end of each workday, and somehow a can tipped over and slowly leaked out onto the floor. Honestly, I'm probably the one who knocked it over, but I felt it was his responsibility to protect the rug, or brace the cans, or whatever. Regardless, the very next day they worked on it for hours getting up the spill. After it dried, you could still see it a little, and they just came and cleaned it again. It looks fine now, so problem resolved.
The point is, things didn't always go smoothly here, but Denny cheerfully and professionally handled every problem that came up.
He and his guys were really nice and a pleasure to have around. I would definitely hire them again.
Denny was professional, prompt. We were charged for 24 hours 8 hours with two painters and one day with one painter. He stayed past the time to finish the job. You can tell it was done by a professional. I would call him back without hesitation.

We had a little back and forth on determining the day--not sure why Angie's List gives date options, it should be discussed with the provider either prior to hire or shortly after.

Denny arrived as scheduled. He let me know of potential issues (uneven walls, prior spackling that prevented him from removing the switch plate). The completed job looks great! Denny was professional--all surfaces protected, thorough clean up. I would definitely would hire Professional Touch of Cape May again.

In addition to the wall bed installation, Dennis hung drapes/hardware, a tapestry and pictures in our new home -- everything was precise and looks great. The price of $900 was for 8 hours of handyman service, including a Big Deal special.
,.Dennis is a passionate detailed and meticulous craftsman who responded to us in a quick and punctual manner. He re tiled our
kitchen floor and took the time to plan the installation in an optimum and aesthetically pleasing manner. In the bathroom he took out an existing tile floor, and boxed all of the refuse in a clean manner. Upon completing this task he laid the tile in what he felt would be the most efficient and aesthetic manner.
We needed 2 sliding doors framed and built since the openings were not of a standard measurement. We spoke frequently about those options which were available. Through his knowledge and counsel he was able to complete this task in a manner that was both economical, functional, and attractive.
What impressed me about Professional Touch of Cape May was his punctuality, professional skills, attention to detail, and creative problem solving skills. It was a pleasure to do business with a craftsman who was meticulous, and left the areas he worked in cleaner than when he started. If you want an energetic, first class craftsman, who will treat your job as though he was doing it for himself than you will be extremely pleased with the work performed by Professional Touch.
