I truly hope to be able to improve this review in the next few months. However, given the very challenging and disappointing experience I’ve had with Pro Sunroom since June of 2020, I felt obligated to transparently share my experience with other buyers, who are considering working with Pro Sunroom. If had known what I know now, I would have gone a different direction with our project, as we are now 8+ months into this project, with no end in sight. My experience with Pro Sunroom started in May 2020, when we began looking for companies to add a large, 4-seasons sunroom to our home. After a very smooth and professional sales process, we signed a contract in June 2020 with an estimated delivery date of our sunroom in 12 to 16 weeks (3 to 4 months). Since June of 2020, our project has been tarnished by an ongoing series of delays, missed commitments and an utter lack of communication. Construction on our project finally started in October of 2020 (4 months after signing an agreement and after countless commitments that “we’ll be starting soon”…) • The foundation for the room was completed the first week of October • After a 5 week delay, the framing for the room began and was completed by mid-November • Since mid-November, there has been no progress on our project • Our backyard has been left as shown in this picture – unsightly, completely unusable, full of mud and scattered trash, construction materials and waste. The wood and interior materials of the room are completely exposed to the elements. • Pro Sunroom has been unable to provide me a date as to when the project will resume. It has been two months of being told “hopefully soon”… • The only time I hear from Pro Sunroom is when I ask for an update or when they are looking to get paid. Communication throughout the process has been abysmal. • I have resorted to trying to get an update directly from the manufacturer of the glass, as to when our materials will be available. I’ve had limited success. • At this point, I’ve engaged our attorney to explore options to move forward In the spirit of transparency and honesty, there have been some positives throughout the process, but they are grossly overshadowed by the endless negatives: Pros: • When work occurs, it is well done. The quality of the foundation and the initial framing work is good. • The team doing the work is polite and professional • As mentioned previously, the sales process was smooth (albeit, full of questionable commitments). The 3D renderings of the project are very helpful in visualizing the room. Cons: • Endless delays with no end in sight • Complete lack of communication or involvement from the company owner (Rick Edwards). I’ve only seen him once during the construction to check on the work being done and I only proactively hear from him when he needs paid. I have to initiate all requests for a project update. Given the size of this project (and the cost), I’d be communicating with my customer weekly at minimum. This isn’t a small or inexpensive project… I’ll continue to update this story and share progress as the project (hopefully) moves forward. In the meantime, other perspective buyers are welcome to contact me to discuss my experience further. More to come…

Pro Home & Sunroom did come and resolve the issues that had been left unattended. We were contacted by a new crew, led by Bobby who came and assessed the various problems, and discussed solutions. Bobby was in constant contact with us, always arrived on time and never cut any time short in completing the work. Bobby did beautiful detail work, really went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. James also worked with Bobby and he also did a very good job of fixing various problems that the original crew left behind. Rick Edwards did follow up to make sure we were satisfied with the work being done. On the outside they removed the bottom layer of brick, sealed and put flashing in, replaced brick, put a stone trench around the outside to help with water, replaced broken bricks, cleaned up mortar joints, insulated the top of the sliding doors, fixed caulking around windows, replaced broken patio tile. On the inside they removed the water damaged pine knee wall, trim, MDF underlayment, baseboard, and shoe mold. Sealed the bottom of the wall then replaced everything with new materials. We are now left with the beautiful Sunroom we had originally envisioned and were promised, thanks to Bobby and James

From the first call with Rick of Pro Home and Sunroom, I knew we were in good hands. We felt comfortable and confident with Rick and Wil, and knew they would bring our visions to reality. They were patient and always answered our very long list of questions, meeting after meeting. Wil designed our beautiful room, and it turned out exactly as shown, and we couldn't be happier. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Troy and his crew. They showed up daily, worked hard, and always looked out for our best interests. We get compliments daily on our room and it quickly became our favorite part of our forever home. We don't believe anyone could have done it better than Pro Home and Sunroom. We can never thank them enough.

My family and I had looked into moving into a bigger home, but that just means more junk to manage. We opted to look into more living space and cut the hassle of moving. My Wife Found Pro Home, enter Rick and his team!! Rick helped us envision our possibilities, sort out all the complicated details and was ALWAYS answering my phone calls. We had multiple quotes for a similar project from other businesses (I insisted we educate our self's) but found they wanted to sell us stuff we don't need. Much like any complicated custom project, it takes time, skill and patience to complete. But the finished product is well worth your time and money, We could not be happier! We even had the building inspector comment on how fantastic the room was!

Customer satisfaction is only a priority until you sign the contract and put a payment down. The owner NEVER followed up to check on the work being done, as he claimed he would do. We were told the work would be begin about mid July. We never heard from them. After several phone calls, they finally got back to us and began the work late September. We were told it should only take about a week. Since the crew was working on various jobs, they spent a few hours before hurrying off to another job. I can understand rainy days, but there were two sunny days where nobody showed up, after being told they would be there. Our sunroom was treated like an afterthought, and only one or two random workers would show up and hurry through the task, which often times was sloppy. We ended up redoing some of the work. Specific requests that were discussed and agreed upon were not done. We discussed light fixtures and when the planks went up for the ceiling, the wrong inserts were put in. We were told several different times the windows “will be coming tomorrow”. Nobody would show up. There was a mix up with the flooring that was inexcusable. We gave them the final check gainst our better judgement, with assurance that all details would be completed. That same day, they left having run out of caulk. It rained a few days later, water came flooding in. After a forcefull phonecall, a guy showed up to finish caulking. We waited until the weather broke in the spring to give them another chance, now it’s May, there is a window that doesn’t work, and screen door that doesn’t work, brickwork not finished and after several more phone calls, it’s apparent they have not intentions of coming back to complete the work. Our experience with this company was very dissapointing.

Consumers should NOT hire this company. Initial measuring for sunroom was wrong. Foundation was never measured and this company charged extra for a concrete slap that took weeks to pour. workers were sent to others jobs when they complained which continued to delay my job. Windows were measured wrong and company said the window company cut the wrong size. I had to email owners and threaten legal action to get them to come to my job and continue to work. I was advised by the workers that other customers were upset like I was. One of the windows was too small for the opening and the window had to be ordered 3 times and it still is not fixed. Rainwater comes in through the floor and the window that is too small. The floor has buckled due to water and now needs to be replaced. This company knows my job is not finished and I have not heard from them for almost 3 months. This job started August 8th, 2018 and still is not finished

Two man crew worked with professionalism and skill. It was obvious that they know what they were doing whether it was electrical work, shingling, pouring a concrete pad or installing the roof. Confirmed the existence of a footer to ensure stability of the roof supports. Provided detailed plans of the construction to the township commission in support of obtaining a building permit. The crew performed some "extras" that arose during the erection of the roof. Some issues with punctuality, but these were beyond the control of the work crew. Would definitely contract with Pro Home & Sunroom for other home improvement jobs.

These guys were awesome. Rick and Will were great to work with on the front end. Pricing and modeling of what we would want. Mark and the crew did a great job on all the work. Professional, friendly , detailed. The quality of work was above expectations

We give an overall A rating to the management, salesman, job foreman, and the workers, and they deserve an A in each of the sub categories as well. We could not be happier with the product and its installation. I think ProSunroom has been in the business for quite a few years, and based on our experience, they should be around a lot longer. They started the project on schedule, worked everyday until it was completed, cleaned up every day and after the job was done, worked very hard, and pleasantly took time to address any questions or concerns we had. From start to finish this project went just the way you would want I to. They installed a 9 x 12 three season room on our existing deck. This included tying in the roof to our existing garage roof and matching the shingles as well as moving and realigning the gutter. They built two screen/window walls that included a 6 foot glass/screen sliding patio entry door. The rest of the two walls they constructed included complete screening and their own rather unique system of sliding window panels inside the screens that allow for complete openness or that can be completely closed to keep the elements out. The panels do not have glass but have a clear vinyl sheet type window. It looks as clear as day, and we got it tinted to help shade additional sun. The other two walls were our existing patio door to the house and the side of the garage. They did a great job finishing off the inside where the roof they added was tied into the existing house—and they installed the ceiling fan we purchased separately for the new room. It’s December and the off season right now for our three-season room, but we are looking forward to using it extensively come spring—although our cat already likes to spend time out there.

I had just moved back to Pittsburgh from Florida. I missed my sunroom. I had a sunroom on my previous home in Pittsburgh and the home in Florida. As soon as I saw this porch on my new home, I knew exactly what I was going got do.
I found Pro Sunroom, a qualified, pre-screened sunroom contractor on the Internet and I saw good reviews. I knew that I wanted something that I could use all year long, so I chose their Four Season Plus.
The sunroom was designed and constructed to look just like part of the home. No one even knows that it is an addition.
The installation crew was very professional, they show up on time, paid attention to all of the details and cleaned up every day and they finished the job precisely on time.
Pro Sunroom did exactly what they said they would and when they said would do it. They even came to do a quality control inspection after the sunroom was finished. I am totally satisfied with Pro Sunroom!
I have a deck with a roof that was screen in and I wanted to add full window and screen. After contacting a local contractor, I decide to build the sunroom wall. The contractor failed to order the product and return my call after several month. I was afraid I will lost my deposit. Fortunately, I use a discover card and able get my deposit return. The manufacture was nice enough to recommend ProSunroom, a sunroom specialist in the Pittsburgh area. Andre the manufacture representative, Rick Edwards from ProSunroom, we all work together on the design and improve some of the design ideas. ProSunroom took over the project. When the installers come into work on the project, I can see Mike and his crews are very professional. The job has been complete to my satisfaction and I will recommend ProSunroom to my friends and family.
