Efficient crew

They did a good job!

A team came to the place and started the work, but instead of doing one area well, they started cutting in many places, leaving the work looking half done and quite a bit of debris left behind. Instead of explaining that the work needed more than the Angie's List offer, and doing only a portion well, they thrashed a large area and left it looking worse. More interested in getting out in the designated hours purchased than a quality result. I ended up contracting a different landscaper to fix the damage and complete the job.

Our house is substantially larger than what they based the promotion price on, so we had to get an estimate for the additional charges. Not a problem in concept, but it took a significant amount of time, and multiple phone calls to get the manager to swing by for the estimate. Once the estimate was provided and the team showed up to do the work, they did a decent job, and a reasonable job of cleaning up for themselves - EXCEPT: they missed one of their pressure-washing wands. I contacted them to let them know that they had left it, and said I would leave it outside by the hose-bib, where it would be easy to find. They acknowledged, saying someone would swing by soon. It's now 4 months later, and still sitting there. If they're that careless with their equipment, were they really that careful with my roof?

This is the second time I have used this service, and even though I was happy first time, I was even more impressed this time. My large garden was overrun with weeds and ivy. After 2 men worked 4 hours, I was left with a renewed garden that was beyond my expectations.

Tried multiple times to contact them via Angie's list and other emails. No response back over a two week period. Today I tried to call them and both their numbers come up as not being in service.

The job they did was okay but the thing that really took me off was I went away after they cleaned the roof. I mentioned that to the manager whether I need to be at the home when they do the service and he said it didn't matter. Then I got the most unbelievably obnoxious note left on the door while I was away threatening me because I hadn't paid the bill even though he knew I was away. And eventually I called him because a friend of mine saw the note I didn't even know it was there and so I called him and said what a hell, the ton of these notes are so obnoxious. I paid him the minute I got home and so I was not very happy with that at all.

It was very difficult. I purchased it. It took going back and forth on it when they could come out, and then they just stopped communicating so I called Angie's List. Angie's List called them and I kept trying to call them. I finally got in touch and made arrangements for them to come out and they finally came out, but it was 2 young men that I would suspect to have absolutely no landscaping experience whatsoever. One of the projects was to transplant some shrubs. They managed to totally kill one of the shrubs which I've had for over 10 years and another one which I'm quite not sure if it's going to survive because they chopped off all of the roots. Basically, it was just not very good. They were supposed to be here for 8 hours so it should be 2 men for 4 hours each. Basically their whole goal was to get through everything that I had put on the list as fast as they could no matter whether it was done well or correctly, and leave. They got to my house about 2 hours early so it's a good thing that I have actually taken a full day off instead of half a day because they weren't supposed to be here until afternoon. They said I was like their third house for that day and as soon as they finished mine, they could leave.

GREAT!!! They had to reschedule one day later, but called me right away. Very pleased with them, they used the time I purchased very efficiently and did more work than I expected in the time frame.

It was great. They got here on time. They got right at it, and did exactly the layout that I wanted. I got exactly what I wanted, and looks every bit as good today as when they put it in. I was really happy. They price was significantly less than some of the other the other major installers. This was my first time using them, and saw an add in the paper for them.

I purchased a Big Deal to have my gutters and roof cleaned. I initially tried contacting Pro Curb Appeal through the Angie's List site when I bought the deal, and heard nothing back. When I tried to phone and arrange service, the number listed on their site connected me to another business.

It did not go. I bought an offer from Angie's List in May 2016. 5-6 phone calls later now in Aug 2016, I've still been not able to even schedule service. When I call the number now no one even answers. Very disappointing!

We have used pro curb appeal twice and have just hired them again. They are timely and work hard. We bought a 8 hour deal (or 4 hours with 2 people) and when the original work was completed they asked what else could be done and continued so that all the time was used. The areas were very overgrown and looked beautiful upon completion. We are looking forward to having them come out in the future! Great job!

Overall the workers did a fabulous job. There was so much foliage to cut back. I was concerned about the general vagueness of the contract though and tried to get the details confirmed with Mike (the supervisor) before signing. This was a difficult process, but since pictures were taken before the bid, and Mike seemed confident with what needed to be done, I thought it was a good deal. By the time all of this had been handled, a couple of weeks had passed so I called the office to confirm that the contract would still be honored before signing. Throughout this whole ordeal my attempts to set up regular maintenance service were not acknowledged. As I said the men did a great job with the overall clean-up, but there were specific items on the contract that were not done. Having paid half of the amount before the work started, I let them know that I would be happy to pay the other half when all of the work listed on the contract had been completed. A week and a half later Mike called to inspect my yard. The young man with him took care of the neglected cuttings. Mike followed me to the backyard where a short walk-way was to be made with bricks we had at home. This is when he said he had lost money on this job. When we began to discuss why the walkway was not done, he made many excuses that I corrected. He claimed the existing concrete walkways along the side of the house were not there before and that was what it referred to. He then claimed that cleaning those existing walkaways was what it meant. Next, that the people typing his notes must have misread them. Next he claimed he had forgotten that it needed to be done. Afterwards he took excessive amounts of time just staring at the ground where the path was to be laid without saying anything to me. I had the typed contract in my hand which stated the exact height and width of the path. I kept showing him the area where the contract referred and explaining why it was chosen in order to jog his memory. He began to say he sort of remembered. When I told him that I was not pleased that this was not done, he whipped his head to me seemingly shocked. More nonsense and hem-hawing occurred. Eventually I said I didn't want his workers to do the job. I turned to the house to leave, paid compliments to his workers, and as he was turning around the corner of my house, he offered to take $200 off the total for the path not being built. To end my review, I would like to add that in all the time that Mike was at my house, not once did he apologize for anything. I will never use them again and never recommend them to my friends.

The crew were hard workers and did a good job in service and clean up. I would recommend them for work. We did purchase and schedule a time and then a no show. A few hours after I left a message, I received notice that the employee who scheduled no longer works there and they re-scheduled a different date as the did not have me listed. They were on time for second attempt. Purchased 8 hours of service and 2 of them performed 4 hours each on Angie's List Coupon.

They did 1/4 of the job, let's just say I learned my lesson, get a job quote or whole job deal. Purchasing hourly services will get you ripped off! They did a very good on they did accomplished, they moved verrrrry slow!

It was a mixed bag. The roof cleaning went well, although the charges for our "oversized" roof seemed excessive. The technician doing the pressure washing (the same guy who did the roof) was not properly trained. He did fine on the concrete walkway, but he used too much pressure on the asphalt driveway causing the surface to be terribly scarred. To their credit, the company fixed the damage at no extra charge, but it should not have happened in the first place. We wanted a small tree to be planted in a spot where a huge douglas fir had been removed a couple of years ago. The initial quote was reasonable, but when the crew came to dig the hole they determined that the old stump had to be ground considerably more than it had when the tree was removed. Many delays later a new, much higher quote was offered verbally. Then when I got the written quote it was higher still. When I tried to contact them about the discrepancy I got the runaround. Finally gave up. The biggest problem with this outfit is that their customer communications are TERRIBLE!!! It seems that their office is unmanned for many days in a row, and voice messages and emails simply are not returned. For this reason they are exceedingly difficult to do business with.

Excellent job! 2 men from Pro Curb Appeal spread a 15 yard pile of bark we had delivered. It was a hot day but they worked hard for 4 hours and finished the job. I will be calling Pro Curb Appeal for future landscaping projects. Very satisfied and grateful that I didn't have to spread the bark. Money well spent

It went great, we've used them before and were happy with them.

They were several hours late to the appointment.  They didn't show up to our house until 4:20 in the afternoon when they were supposed to arrive around noon.  They did some work for a while, but didn't get all of the work completed that we asked.  We had well over 8 hours of work to be completed.  The crew did not communicate with my wife regarding the work or ask if additional work could be completed.  The company claimed that in 6 1/2 hours, they had completed the job.  The work was done half-heartedly, as they were starting at 4:20 in the afternoon, which is about the time that most people are ending their day.  I then called in and spoke to someone named Jessica or Jennifer who was extremely rude.  She didn't want to hear about the issues with the work or to help resolve the issues that we experienced and told me to take it up with Angie's List, so I am.  I just want to get my money's worth on this, get this resolved, and move on.

He did a very nice job on the roof and cleaning the plants and our patio after he was done with the roof.  This company must have sold a lot of these specials because it took a long time and a few reminders from me before we got the date scheduled.
