After a storm damaged our roof, Pro Roofing helped us to fight our insurance company for over a year. Other companies weren't willing to get involved, but Pro Roofing has people who specialize in this sort of thing. They knew how to deal with the insurance company to get them to approve funds towards the repair and then to fight their original estimate to get us more. If you have roof work that involves dealing with an insurance company, these are the folks to use. The new roof they installed looks great. It makes the house look significantly better and well maintained. Could not recommend more.

Pro Roofing and Siding did a fantastic job repairing and replacing siding, replacing gutters, and painting the exterior of my entire house. They showed up on time and worked tirelessly to make my home look awesome! They cleaned up after and left my yard looking just as it did when they started. Cory and Hafid were there every step of the way to answer questions and make sure the job was done right! I highly recommend this amazing company! I would hire them again! Thank you Pro Roofing and Siding for making my home look new again!!!!

It went better than I expected. It started from my meeting with Michael Walker the sales consultant who assured me that he would exceed my expectations for this job. The project manager Hafid was just as assuring and professional, the workers equally professional. The work that I hired them for was not a big job, however, the time they took in replacing my siding spoke volumes to me because it showed me that they take pride in the jobs that they are doing and was meticulous in their work. I did not have to go behind them to clean up, they took care of everything and left me with an even better looking siding. I will definitely be using them again should the need arise.

We had new gutters installed after storm damage ruined our old ones. It took a while for the representative to get back to us a few times but he was very professional, nice, and helpful. We understood that the delays were due to back orders from the storm damage. We would most certainly use them again because the quality and craftsmanship were outstanding.

In a few words, don't let this company near your house if you value your landscaping, gutters or house siding. The initial visit and inspection by salesman Brenden O'Donnell went well with his explaining what would be done and why. The price quoted was competitive with 2 other companies. I signed a contract and received an email afterwards from Kelvin Stembridge (who was the project supervisor) with a list of preparation instructions. I acknowledged his email and requested that before any work started the following day, he and I review the roofing materials inventory listed on the contract to what was to be delivered to be sure nothing was missing. I also advised that I wanted to discuss with him my concerns for the landscaping around the house before the start. I received a phone call from Kelvin (who would soon earn the nickname of "Mr Invisible" because he was rarely here) that that would be no problem. The supplies for the new roof arrived the day before installation. A team of 4 ( 3 men and one 14 year old teenager none of whom really spoke English) showed the first day at the allotted time but no Kelvin. I called his cell and he was still an hour away from the house. Argued that he lived in west Cobb county and it would take him time to get there. Is showing up late a prerequisite to instilling confidence to a customer? When he finally arrived, the crew was busy ripping off the old roof and throwing all over the yard. So much for my concern about my landscaping. I tried to explain to the"crew" but it was no go. Remember, no English. Kelvin and I finally went over the inventory that had been delivered. Thankfully, it was all there. It was then on to the landscaping concerns. Even though I had discussed this with Brenden, I wanted to repeat it repeated it to Kelvin. I should have saved my breath. Kelvin's response was and I quote, "To make an omelet, you have to break some eggs". (What?) Even when some of the shrubbery and bushed were covered, old shingles piled on top of them. By the time demolition was finished, there were black marks from the old shingles on the house siding and the down spouts. Another of my bigger concerns which I stressed was not to have the "crew" step into the gutters and use them for support. Another waste of my breath - ever gutter on the house was stepped into pushing them away from the house. One of the corner gutter guards was also bent as a result. After three requests, to this day, none of this has been repaired. The first day ( it took this "crew" 3 days to complete this job - the house is only a 1,900 sq ft ranch), Kelvin was here for a total of about one hour otherwise there was really no supervision of the "crew". That was a costly mistake because the second day in the early afternoon, an employee from the Labor Department - OSHA - to be exact arrived to make a safety inspection of the job. No idea where he came from but he took names and pictures of the 3 men in the crew (the teenage boy had run around to the other side of the house to disappear), measured the height of the roof elevation, called Kelvin since Mr Invisible wasn't there and gave the company a citation and a fine. Apparently, safety guidelines were not being followed - something no homeowner wants to hear. Also, the "crew" thought that the man was from ICE not OSHA. Something else no home owner wants to hear. Kelvin's comment to me was to say this visit was unfortunate but "that was the cost of doing business". Kelvin showed up for about two to three hours the last day. When the job was "completed", every slope of the entire roof had shingles that were buckled and/or puckered. Mr. Invisible left before the "crew" finished on this last day making it impossible for him to do any final inspection of the job. Strangely, the times he was here, I never saw him once climb a ladder to inspect the work being done. . I have emailed the company about the problems three times since, the first one being 5 days after the job was finished . Brenden eventually responded to the first email and made a visit 3 weeks later. The "crew", when they left on the last day failed to removed some small pieces of debris from the replacement shingles that were still on the roof. Brenden did climbed a ladder to remove this debris but never inspected the buckled shingles. He totally avoided them. He blamed the problem on GAF and said it would take anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months for the them to flatten out over the summer. Nothing has changed, however after 8 weeks As far as the gutters were concerned, he told me he couldn't repair them because he didn't have a hammer to pound the nails back into place. Consequently, no one was ever sent out to do it since he was here. There has been no contact from the company since. My last email was sent 2 weeks ago and still no response. I am a Senior. There is no way I can climb a ladder to inspect the roof up close or make repairs to the gutters. Pro Roofing was paid in full ($9,096.00) 5 days after the job was "completed". What also bothers me is if I have this lack of response with the initial replacement, what will happen if or when there are problems with the new roof in the future. Will my warranty be honored?
Response from Pro Roofing & Siding
"We at Pro Roofing pride ourselves in delivering a project experience that exceeds the homeowner's expectation. This homeowner's project obviously did not exceed his expectations. This troubles us greatly at PRS. Although we perform numerous projects within a given week, we try to make each homeowner feel as if their project is the only project we have in production. We assign projects to Project Managers in a fashion that geographically and scope-wise makes the most sense for balance. This allows our Project Mangers to be flexible in the sense that they can be on top of multiple projects. In this case, the homeowner's project was in Snellville. We also had a project ongoing in Cobb County. This presented some logistical challenges that were discussed with the homeowner prior to starting his project. We informed him that the goal was to start in Cobb and then transition to Snellville as soon as possible. Our Project Manager was onsite at the first project by 7:30 a.m. and gone by 8:15 a.m. We spoke with the homeowner while in route and he responded as if we had not discussed exactly what was occurring. Our production manager arrived at 9:15 a.m. We like to be onsite by the time the demolition of the existing shingles is complete. This is one of the critical points in that we get a chance to truly evaluate the flashings, decking and any unforeseen issues. We met the day before to make a plan to place tarps strategically, as there is little room in the rear of the property. The homeowner has done a beautiful job of landscaping his back yard, so we did not want to disturb this. The crew had tarps placed exactly where we planned. Upon arriving, the homeowner wanted to be sure the products onsite were the same he paid for. After we confirmed the parts were accurate, he seemed pleased. He had told us over the phone that he did not trust contractors and had been "burned" in the past. We take precautions around the home (OSB to protect plants, screens and air conditioners, tarps laid for siding, landscaping and yard protection) to minimize impact. But the reality is that we have to pull down 4 to 5 tons of construction debris from a high pitched plane; this will sometimes result in a shingle landing in tree or a plastic bag being caught by the wind and blowing twenty five feet from where it originated. Either way, it is our responsibility to make sure we account for and clean/replace anything that is left missing or askew from the original landscape--which we did. We do not want to go line by line to just refute everything the homeowner said. Anytime a homeowner feels compelled to write such a review, we feel we can take it one of two ways. We can yell from the hilltops how this homeowner wanted to control the job from the first move and was difficult at every turn. Or we can realize that we missed an opportunity to win a client for life with good hard work. We like to focus on the latter statement in hopes of learning from each and every experience--to apply those lessons learned so that we can prevent the feeling that this homeowner had. I wish that could benefit the homeowner. If there's anything at all that we can do to better the experience, please do not hesitate to contact me at[phone number removed. After receiving five bids for a complete new roof on our home and doing extensive research, we chose Pro Roofing and Siding. Three individuals are to be commended for their professionalism and customer relations-Brendan O’Donnell (Sales), Israel Toache (On-Site Project Manager) and Juan Reyes (Owner). It was very gratifying knowing that these company employees had high standards and endeavored to make the customer “feel good” about their product. With a very attractive new roof, an outstanding warranty and Pro Roofing as “our” company, we look forward to many years of worry free maintenance and protection for our home. We highly recommend Pro Roofing and Siding and would be honored to let future customers see our results (as a matter of fact, they are replacing my neighbors’ roof and siding based upon our recommendation).

I had a roof that leaked on my TV in the living room. Pro-Roofing replaced everything on the chimney outside and replaced the sheet rock inside and painted it. They did not leave until I was happy with their work and it took a lot to get this done. I also had my living room and dining room painted by Pro-Roofing. The men were on time, courteous, helpful and cleaned up after themselves. In the beginning they removed all my pictures and moved all the furniture and stuff away from the walls, and when they were finished painting they replaced everything and that was a real job in itself. You can't ask for a more efficient, polite and helpful group of people. EXCELLANT work guy! Thank-you so much! Sheila S.

Very good except little or no attention paid to keep from damaging shrubs & flower garden. Lead person was on a different job the final day and I had some problems communicating with workers. Overall a good job but it was the priciest of three quotes I got.

I wish every company was run like this one! I bought a house from out of state and I needed a roof, paint and gutters. I put my faith in Angie’s list rating and chose them for the job. Right off the bat after talking with Tammie, the office administrator, then to Brendan who assembled the team I started to feel good about my decision. Constant communication and follow-up without being annoying, they were polite, professional and concerned. Kelvin was the project manager for the roof and he stopped by daily to ensure all was well and listened to every question or concern and promptly addressed them. The roof is perfect and he ensured that. Hafid was the project manager for the paint and gutters and he followed suit with excellent customer service and he stopped by daily to ensure all was well and listened to every question or concern and promptly addressed them. He actually performed a few tasks outside the immediate scope of the job for which I am very grateful. You immediately feel like you’re dealing with friends or neighbors rather than customer/company. Great experience!
