I spoke to at least three firms. Initial ones priced too high and did not ask right questions at all. Jumped to conclusions, times. Last two asked for pics, and showed bona fide interest Andrew came by assessed estimate again . Perhaps most of all, he approached the job with sense of vocation, In the zone. When new install and storm door completed I nasked about door frames resets. He called in and got estimate from owner which was reasonable. Now that everything is fixed on that all important "appliance" that we don't think about that are good to and come home too. Also this was my first time ever using Angies list!

They were on time, reasonably priced and the work was excellent. I will use them again.

Unfortunately I had to part ways with my roommate and needed to change the locks asap. I called protector. They got here quick, explained the pros and cons of all the different locks that can be installed. I chose a multi lock cylinder. The technician was quick and polite. Thanks

Fortunately, unlike many locksmith calls, this was not urgent. We had the opportunity to get estimates from multiple companies about the work needed for these repairs. While this work seems standard, the suggestions and estimates were not. Protector Locksmith went out of their way to fully explain why they made certain recommendations. Unlike all the other companies that did estimates, rather than guessing what might be wrong with wiring on the intercom, they looked at it, so we could feel comfortable that the suggestions wouldn't change. They arrived on time - for the estimate and the final work. They were thorough, and everything is working great. Our condo board also felt Protector offered the best value, too. Make sure you use them for your job! <br />

My front door needed attention so I went to the Protector Locksmith  showroom for help and advice. The folks there explained the different options as to a new deadbolt lock.  Later that morning, Henry the technician arrived. He was able to repair the doorknob and then installed a new deadbolt.  While he was working, Henry answered many of my questions about locks.  The door is secure now and I'm pleased with the job. <br />

Henry arrived so soon after the call, I wasn't even ready,- fast service. He explained all about the former lock to me, letting me know what was inefficient about it. In no time at all he had the work done, cleaned the area and all for a very reasonable amount. <br />

I'm currently living in SC an I called them to change my tenants lock in Brooklyn. They were very professional and courteous. They couldn't keep our original time but they informed me an was on time for the 2nd appointment. I would use them again an I would refer them to others.

The people I dealt with (Anna on the phone, Alex who came to the house) were personable, courteous and pleasant to deal with. I would use them anytime. Alex, who did the actual work, paid attention to every detail, was cost-conscious and did not try to sell me services or hardware that I didn't need. <br /> I would use Protector Locksmith anytime and recommend them highly. <br />

I was locked out of my house, I called Protector Locksmith and they were there in about ten minutes. The man was very informative, he let me in and changed only the cylinder and saved me money. The other locksmiths I called tried to get me to change the entire lock. It was nice seeing there are honest people out there
