We had a squeak in oak floor in hallway where work had been done six years ago. It was limited to area where doorway had been widened. Pryor Floor showed on time, assessed the situation and proceeded with repairs. Since basement below was unfinished, they had direct access to floor joists and sub-floor. They proceeded with base estimate actions (screws and glue), and it took two sets of screws to secure the oak flooring in that area to the sub-floor and joists. From their initial assessment to finish, done in 30 minutes. Pleasant workers who were respectful. Spouse is happy--best endorsement I can give!

Pryor came in and refinished the oak floors in one of my investment homes. They also replaced the old fir floor with oak in two rooms to match the rest of the house. They replaced two ~3' x 3' sections of oak stained from the previous owners dog adventures. My test of a flooring company is if they can match new wood to old and patch sections and make the end result look like it is all original. They did a good quality job. They were prompt and worked hard and showed up on time and finished on schedule. For a simple refinish job you could find somebody for less money who hopefully could do a good job but if you have more than that and require some expertise go with these guys.

Work was done efficiently and with good quality. Workers were polite and responsive.

We solicited estimates from four different companies through Angie's List.  Pryor was by far the most professional and timely of the companies we felt with.  We were already leaning toward them when we got their estimate, which had the added benefit of being lower than all the other competitors. We booked them on the spot. <br> <br>We scheduled work a couple weeks out and their team arrived right on time and completed the work in the time advertised.  The finished product looks amazing!  We were extremely satisfied with the whole experience and would use them again in an instant.

We decided to refinish our floor as part of our kitchen remodel. We moved several walls so there were areas of the floor that needed to be repaired and we also wanted a darker color. They helped us to pick the color and they patched the areas so beautifully that I can't see where there were gaps in the flooring where the walls were. We were warned that the stain would probably get up on the baseboards which did happen and we ended up touching up all the baseboards but that was much better than taking off the baseboards. It is a difficult process to move everything off of the floors for the length of time needed to repair, sand, fill, stain and poly coat the floors but worth it in the end. Overall the floor looks absolutely amazing and we are very happy that we went with Pryor. <br />

<p>Get this: they installed the kitchen and powder room floors ~25or 30 years ago; yes they put it in back then and it was a great job back then; so we had them back to resurface it and put more in. I believe we were one of Pryor's first customers whenever that was. </p> <p>They kept the dust down and the job they did that long ago was still fine, we just wanted to refresh it. <p>My husband and I were very impressed with Pryor Floor Company!  Everyone that I talked to was extremely professional and helpful!  The boards that they replaced look perfect!  You can't even tell there was ever any damage to the individual boards or the damaged area!  I would highly recommend Pryor Floor Company and will use them again in the future!</p> <br />

it's a long process to have real hardwood installed, but it's worth it.. the new floor is solid and beautifully finished.. we had 2 bedrooms that we removed the carpet from to have hardwood installed.. the process went like this... remove old carpet, carpet pad and tack strips, remove all baseboards, prep sub floor for new flooring... installers prep floor some more and install new unfinished solid oak flooring, (2 days), sanders sand it down and 1st coat goes on (1 day), next coat goes on (1 day), final coat goes on (1 day), and then once dry the baseboards go back on and the room is ready for use after a thorough cleaning because there will be some dust around from the sanding..., <br />

They did a very good job and I have been pleased. They did the original floors of the house and I would still use them again. <br />
