"Thanks for the review! It was a pleasure assisting you in receiving the right system for your home and plumbing system. Getting it right the first time saves a lot of money. Your Kinetico needs no electricity to operate. It delivers soft water all day, every day. It is not unusual for a Kinetico system to use half the salt per year over most other units. "Thank you for the review. Even though I do not service your area I do represent the brand of equipment that is in your home, Kinetico. It is the best system in the market. No electricity needed to operate. Continuous treatment even during regeneration. Only needs about 1/2 the salt to operate. You really lucked out the previous owner installed Kinetico. Expected service life is over 30 years with few repairs. It was a pleasure to email back and forth with the pictures you sent. Made it very easy to advise you on maintenance, where to get filters and more. Let me know if I can help you further."

"I always enjoy an appointment when the potential client has dome some homework and is truly interested in how products work. I love to explain in simple terms how these units work and why some do not. As you know, the Service Flow Rate is one of the key factors in deciding what unit will work. The existing equipment was not doing the job mainly because it was undersized. I was happy to fix the drain and bring it up to code with the Air Gap. I was also pleased with getting the unit to fit in the space available. Let me know if there is anything else you need."
"That was a real pleasure to get the Kinetico K5 Drinking Water System in to replace the much older Reverse Osmosis system. What a great gift to your family for the holidays! Installing it downstairs (whee the old one was) saved a lot of cabinet space. The new faucet looks great and delivers the water almost three times faster than the old one. I just returned from fixing the drain connection from the water softener the other day. It was done incorrectly and was a real threat to your health. It has now been corrected with a trap and air gap. Call me anytime for assistance with water issues."
"Thank you for the positive review. When I first put the Kinetico K5 Drinking Water System in several years ago I remember that you were a little concerned about getting the filters changed. That is quite understandable. Many companies promise to return and then find it "just too far". We won't take a job if it is too far to return for service - ever. We don't believe the homeowner should change drinking water filters. We are trained by Kinetico in the proper procedure to change the filters without damage to the system or contamination of the cartridges. The few minutes it takes for us to change the filters is a great opportunity you to ask questions and get answers. Water issues are an on-going process and new questions arise even when you have treatment. Enjoy!"
"Thanks for the review! The older unit was no longer doing the job and was very inefficient. The new Kinetico s250-OD will use a lot less salt and provide even better water. The prior unit may have had a longer life if a filter had been installed. Even small amounts of grit can be damaging to systems that have a piston and cylinder style control head. Kinetico is a unique softener in that the water does not pass through any moving parts and goes directly to the tank for softening. This simple design can add years to the life of a water softener. Add that to the moving parts are only exposed to treated water and you can just begin to see why Kinetico products last so long with so few repairs. Hope to see you again when you need new filters."
