Excellent, used monthly for going on 4 years

They charge me $65 a month plus the cost of chemicals. They are always here on the day they are supposed to be and if they are not because of the weather or something and they cannot be, they call us and let us know when they are coming. They take care of business and entertain us for a while if we are out there to talk to them and then, they go on. I have been using them since 2003.

They are on time and responsive. If there is a problem, they send one of their route managers out to see me. Their price was competitive. I wish it was cheaper, but it was not.

I used this company to resurface my pool. The work was done but there are inconsistencies in the service, so I would say that it is mediocre work. More recently however i've noticed leak in my pool. I've called this company 3 times. A message was taken and I was told the first time that someone would probably be out early next week. This was on a Friday. The following Thursday and Friday I called again to find out what was going on and was never given a call back. This is how you treat your customers?? I'd look elsewhere

It were alright. They did what they said they would do.

The pool was drained for resurface but the original material was not suitable and James, the owner of Pure Pools, refused the material. However, the pool was drained and prepped. I paid for that portion and the pool remained empty for 1 week while new material was obtained. Originally I had been told that once the pool was completed, three (3) days, and filled we could swim in it but there is a "cure" period that takes a week, FYI. I asked Pure Pools for pictures of the pool and was told that they would be sent to me but it has been more than a week and I have not received them. More important, we were supposed to receive a letter to defray costs of filling the pool to give to the water department that should have been given when we paid the final check. We have been unable to get that letter to date. The delivery of the letter to defray Water Department cost was refused until final payment. The final payment has been paid, we really need the letter and are requesting that they deliver it ASAP. Update 5/26/15: James promised a more polished pool surface, as we requested. However the surface is still very rough and bumpy. The letter for the Water department has been provided. All said, the project was completed well and during their busy time.

They are very good.  They are timely, fast, and efficient.  I would definitely give them 5 stars.

Jimmy came out and reviewed our pool equipment with us and explained its operation. He recommended the replacement of our broken filter element and a thorough cleaning. <br /> <br />The pool was cleaned the same day and the filter element replaced as well. <br />

Jimmy, the owner of Pure Pools, stayed on top of the work and keeping me informed of their work schedule. They did an excellent job in a very short time.

<p>As my husband said: "PURE POOLS DID MORE work in two weeks than the former company did in a year."  So, true.  We had hired another company whose family has been in the pool business in this area for MANY years to do the following:  resurface the pool and spa, install a new cage, install a spa heater, level out the pool deck and coat it, there were some other small tasks as well.  Well it suffices to say that in a year, they did not finish the job and what they did do was shoddy work.  The only good work was the pool cage and that was because they sub-contracted that ... and they did not pay the sub!</p> <p>No matter your situation, you cannot find a better pool company than Pure Pools.  Jimmy and his team are the best and they work harder than any group of people.  They are skilled, conscientious, attentive to detail, always available for questions, informative and always helpful in helping you accomplish what you want/need on a budget you can afford.  They came in a clearned up the mess of the other pool company that we took to court (and won) and did a great job on our pool/spa/deck.  It has never looked or functioned so well.  Equally important, they came in and did it all on budget in two weeks as promised.  The owner, Jimmy, was either on-site or called me EVERYDAY to check on the project and to make sure we were pleased with the work.  He is very knowledgeable about pools and pool equipment, as is his staff and they all did a wonderful job.  </p>

<p>Jimmy and his great staff came in and immediately attacked the algae problem in our pool.  He replaced the filter that the previous company should have replaced long ago and started treating the problem.  He called or sent someone to treat the pool every day, because he knew that we were eager to get the problem cleared up.  And clear it up they did -- the pool looks great.  </p> <p>Jimmy and his staff have a thorough understanding of the chemistry of treating pool water and that is difficult for some companies who cannot treat a saline (slat water) pool.  You will be in great hands with this company.  It would be impossible for anyone to provide better service.</p>

Work was done well with no complaints. Prices were reasonable. Very professional and cordial. Took extra time to explain pool plumbing set up at no cost to me. <br />

The guy gets the job done on time. I believe he's into cleaning and sealing the deck pavers and any repairs on a pool - I haven't had any of that done but I would recommend him for anything. That person and that company is outstanding! I don't think I may find another company compared to his. Even his workers that had come out and done the job had been just pleasant. They take care of anything that I'm concerned about. I also think their price is very reasonable - I haven't paid any more than $85 for a month. We were so lucky to be able to find this company!

My pool pump went out and I called several companies. Jimmy responded quickly and was able to do the job the next day. Everyone else was saying they would have to order the pump I wanted. Jimmy went out to the supplier and picked up the pump and installed it. I have recently hired him to take care of the pool since. <br />

Goes above and beyond.  We helps out with various things for me as well!

They overall did a good job but  they were quite busy which is understandable. They didn't always return a call or appointment  but it wasn't long before they did. Overall, they were neat, clean and did a good job. <br />

Initially I had Pure Pools repair the grout in the tile around my pool.  They did a great job and I then agreed to have weekly pool service for 65.00 monthly plus the cost of any chemicals.  I recently bought my house after it had been vacant for 5 years.  The pool had some issues.  I just completed my first month of service and Jimmy has been able to get my pool is great shape with everything working and all issues taken care of. <br />

I am a seasonal Florida resident and rely on Jimmy to keep my pool clean and chemically balanced while I am here in Florida and when I'm back in Michigan. I had become frustrated with a previous provider who didn't seem to know what he was doing and charged way more than it was worth. I switched to Pure Pools about a year ago and they have done a much better job, and for substantially less money, than other guys I had before. They (Jimmy and his crew) are very good at diagnosing a wide variety of problems and solving them with a minimum of hassle and very fair price. <br /> <br /> <br />
