Excellent! The previous owners of our home had multiple dogs and cats. I am allergic to both. Before we moved in we had our carpets cleaned and I have had no issues!

After working 5 hours and accomplishing serious sub basement clean up they discovered the source of my complaint. They did not charge me for the initial 5 hours. They worked day and night over the weekend to remove the source.

The service went well. They were running late, and they called and told me they were running a late. They asked if they could arrive a half hour late. I said yes, and they did so. They removed and disposed of the insulation. They also cleaned the mold from the wood and walls. And they set off an air based mold killing product too kill anything they could not see or reach. So far, so good.

Outside the foundation of the house, PuroClean nearly rebuild my entire home from start to finish. They cleaned, demoed and rebuilt the structure including framing, installing insulation, drywall, plumbing, ventilation, flooring, painting, trimming and every finishing touch. The PuroClean team was flexible and responsive throughout the whole process. I recommend PuroClean for any restoration job, big or small.

It's the worst experience I have ever had! I scheduled a test on Nov 15 (Tuesday) early morning. A worker came and collected 3 air samples from attic, 1st floor and basement. They told me that I would receive the mold test report on Nov 17 (Thursday). However, I had to push them a lot of times and I finally received the report on Nov 23 (Wednesday) afternoon, right before thanksgiving. Also, their report only showed which species of mold existed and the amount, but didn't make any conclusion whether there was mold and whether remediation was needed. So technically the report is useless and I had to contact them to ask for a conclusion/statement. They refused because it's right before thanksgiving. I understood so I only asked for an email statement. They just ignored me. The sellers then refused to address the mold issue, and they got an email from a PuroClean business manager at 6 pm on Nov 23 (Wednesday) saying the mold was not an issue and didn't need to be remediated. I have no idea how they can get the business manager to reply and I don't understand why PuroClean doesn't get back to me. I paid for their service and I reserve the right to get the statement. Moreover, since I was very suspicious about the email statement sent from the business manager, I consulted two other mold inspectors and they both said the mold was a concern and should be remediated. I'm very frustrated about PuroClean and I have to say this is the worst company I have ever met! Finally, I contacted their manager's supervisor about this issue. Again, they ignored me. I'm very angry and so I write this review to warn other people. Never use PuroClean for mold test! They are aweful!

"I am deeply sorry that your experience with PuroClean was poorly received. I was able to review all the facts in this matter, including your input and feedback. Regarding the delay, we send out all of the samples to a third party lab as to keep the results objective. 98% of the time the results do not suffer a processing delay and arrive on time. However, the lab occasionally develops a back-log and it leads to a delay in our ability to provide the results. The Thanksgiving holiday was the likely culprit, but I can assure you there was no delay as a result of PuroClean's action. We are at the mercy of the analysis lab. I do apologize for this inconvenience and we attempted to resolve this with you by virtue of issuing a good faith refund. You purchased and requested air samples to be taken, and the air samples came back favorably. In fact, there was virtually zero airborne particulates in the test results. That is a very good thing, this effectively means that mold is not affecting the air quality of the home. We are of the firm position that this home is mold free and there was some light staining present, not mold. The concerns in the basement were not mold, but there was efflorescence which is not mold, nor harmful, and present in nearly all basements of cinder block/poured concrete. I cannot speak to the other service providers that you used, but in our offices history, we have never had a mold warranty issue and have an enormously positive track record. The gentleman that inspected this property is a 17 year industry professional and holds the highest possible certifications the inspection and mold industry has to offer. While I am sorry that the test didn't return the mold issue that you'd hoped for, I stand behind them and can speak directly to the integrity of our process. PuroClean will never manufacture issues or concerns simply to create a revenue opportunity. The service was fine. They have done the inspection for us which was fine and stuff, but then, we also had ask them for an estimate to do some more work, they sent back an estimate. However, they never really broke it down. It was just some kind of paper with the total, but it did not say what they were going to do. So, that was kind of unexpected, but the work they did was fine itself. The price was fine.

It was amazing. It was a very stressful time and event and Tim Aurand was cool, calm and collected. He is an honest, hardworking man and I feel very fortunate to have had that particular employee/franchisee assigned to my claim. <br /> He did everything he promised to do; called when he said he would; arrived and left when he said he would. <br /> I would call Tim for assistance for any job of this sort. <br />

We found the black mold and immediately did a search for mold removal companies on Angie's list. Far too many times we've encountered poor quality customer service and quality work on projects in our home in the past, which is why my husband does all of our home improvements. This issue however was far beyond our realm of expertise. When we contacted Puroclean, they came with in 24 hours to inspect the mold and give us a quote. After inspection, they informed my husband they would be happy to stay and remove the mold THAT day, which was even better. Unfortunately, my husband still had to open up another wall in my daughter's soon to be bedroom in order to assure there wasn't mold in there, so he told them he'd call them back to schedule once we knew if that wall also needed the mold removal. My husband was than offered that IF we did find mold in her room, they would take care of that as well for the same price estimate we were given for just the play room! Given the scale of this home project, this was a huge relief for us, and so refreshing as many professionals we have encountered are not so kind. Not only was my husband very pleased with their professionalism, but he was also very happy with the quality of work they provided. Hecter and Jason were the professionals that came to our home and removed/sanitized the wall that had the black mold. Everything is now clean and safe and my husband can move forward with finishing the remodel. We are beyond happy with the quality of work and piece of mind that was provided to us. And although we would absolutely use this company in the future if we ever needed to, we truly hope we don't have to as this was an unexpected and scary home improvement we hope to not have to make again! Thank you Jason and Hecter for your awesome customer service, quality work, and kindness. We will be sure to recommend Puroclean to anyone we encounter that may need your services! <br />

The provider did a good job, but overcharged in the hourly rate. They are probably not the only ones that do this. Because of the flooding issues in Northeast Ohio it is very important for the homeowner to make a record of how long the employees and equipment is actually at the home. And, while you think the employees are being friendly, remember you are being charged for every minute they spend at your home. <br />
