Absolutely awful. Very challenging to get him to commit and come. Found out he has been scamming others in many reviews. Then refused to refund.

Monir from pyramid pool company reached out to me after I entered why information on Angie list looking for someone to replace my above ground 12X24 52” pool liner. Friday November 1st- Monir came with another gentleman to give me estimate on pool. He measured pool but did not diagnose leaking liner. Told me liner needed to be replaced and I asked if he could replace two top rails and 2 top plates on the pool that were rotted. We agreed to a price of $1100 and I gave him a Zelle downpayment of $350. I sent the Zelle to the gentlemen he was with “SAMEH” at 201-895-3607. Confirmation # cggfx89b8. (We agreed on a liner which was “indigo reef” I was told liner had no “top border” and would be solid, when they brought liner it indeed did have a top border) Wednesday November 6th- this was original date to install liner, I had to call Monir when he didn’t show up by 12:00 pm, he told me Liner did not show up and we had t reschedule. Thursday November 7th- I expected Monir to arrive at 9:00 am like he told me. Did not show up until 12:00 pm.He showed up with the incorrect liner (it had top border) but I was fine with it as long as liner was going to be installed since I already drained all the water from the pool on Wednesday November 6th. However he did not show up with the 2 top plates and 2 top rails as they weren’t goin to be in until Saturday. He told me that the pool floor was uneven and that he could level the floor for me for $500 which a greed to and paid him on the spot, he also needed a couple other parts fro the pool which I paid him for on the spot as well another $650 for a total of $1500 before any real work was even done. During the installation of the liner, he said to me that since the top rails and top plates weren’t here that he now thought it was best to not install the liner but to just leave it in the pool. I agreed with him since I am not the expert. He then asked me if I get rats or animals in my yard and I said I’ve seen possums and raccoons before. Monir and his partner covered the pool with the tarp I use for closing th pool. Unfortunately they did such a poor job covering the pool that the cinderblocks they used to hold the tarp down(my pool is surrounded by a deck and the cinderblocks were laid on the deck) fell into the pool crushing the side wall of the pool. I noticed this on Friday November 8th also on Friday November 8th the other side of the pool collaopsed in, due to the excessive pressure on the othe r side and the strong winds that we had that day/night. Friday November 8th- I called Monir at around 5;30 Friday evening telling him what had happen with the one side of the pool were the cinderblock crushed the wall, he said to send him pictures which I did, as well as video. I was told it was a no problem fix and they will cover all repairs. At 8:50 pm that night is when the other side of the pool collapsed in. I sent him pictures of that also, he asked me to go in the pool and put bricks to support the wall, which I did. He told me he will be at my house tomorrow 9:00 am. Saturday November 9th- I was told they would show up at 9:00 they did not get to my house until around 2:40 pm. They did whatever they could to put the pool back on track, not really sure what they did. I asked him to please sign a document that I wrote up stating that they would be responsible for any damage that could occur done the road due to the damage to the pool, which he signed. At this point I still thought he was going to urgently fix the issue which his company caused. The liner was now put up 75%.but not finished and hanging off the wall in one area. November 10th- I went under my deck so that I could take pictures and get a better understanding at the look of the damage to the pool walls. After seeing how bad it was and my obvious concern that this pool that holds 30,000 gallons of water has now lost its structural integrity, I texted Monir at 1:56 pm expressing my concern and frustration.he replied at 11:19 pm explained to me how he was going to fix the pool to make it safe. At this point I was still optimistic that he would urgently try to repair the damage his company caused. November 10th was the last day that Monir showed up to my house, I’m not sure if he did anything work to the pool I know his main reason for showing up was because he dropped his wallet at my house on November 9th and needed to come find it. Basically radio silence since November 10th as he did not come back at all to fix the pool or make anything right. We went back and forth with minimal text messages and many missed calls from me to him. As he was always understanding of my concerns and frustration he did notthing to make the situation right. I paid him $1500 for a new pool liner new top rails and top plates and leveling of the ground. The pool has now sat empty for over 14 days which is horrible for the walls of the pool especially with the damage that pyramid pool caused to the side walls. On Monday November 18th Monir agreed to give me a full refund (which I have yet to receive) as the refund is appreciated and honestly expected. I Know need a whole new pool and liner and also someone to install the pool for me. I’m out a lot of money that I wasn’t expecting. My backyard is a total mess as pieces of the pool are all over my deck since they never came back to reassemble what they took off. It is now November 29th I have yet to get the refund I was promised. My backyard is a complete mess, my pool has not had water in it for weeks and walls have weakened. I’m stuck with no pool no refund and a huge mess. Even more then the refund I want a replacement pool, not only am I now in a worse position then I was before being pyramid pool I know need to get a whole new pool and find a company that will install it for me. I went from just needing a liner to pyramid pool completely ruining my pool and now I need a whole new one

Badly. My hot tub was leaking and the motors / electricals were dead. I was first charged $2,818 for the first motor to be replaced. I was then told that the second motor needed to be replaced for an additional $3,600. Several appointments were missed and after two months, the second pump did not work and the lights were not connected. I called a new contractor who said a) the tub was still leaking because the pipes were left disconnected, b) the wrong pump was installed. They also noted that the charges were massively excessive. There may be additional problems but those they are resolving for about $2K. When confronted, he threatened to make "vindictive charges" against me above and beyond what he already charged because he had my debit card. I have all this on text.
Response from Pyramid Pool Services
"Hey [Member Name Removed] , apologize for your confusion however we went above and beyond for you to resolve your problem. You have multiple issues with the spa that we addressed and we have all receipts for. We have you resolutions for your existing problems which we have all record on text for. Hope that you would’ve contacted us noting any leaks but that was not the case when we left off and we have all record on correspondence of. A lot of what you said was not entirely true and false. We have no record of your card on file . You also didn’t pay the company for work that was completed . I’d recommend removing the review or we will have to file slander charges for false information. Thanks have a great day hope all the best."

It was a rushed and unprofessional service that was incomplete. It was discussed that the pool will be winterized and a pool cover would be secured. When the provider was present, he did remove the hoses from the pool. He did not drain the pool below the skimmer. He was unable to unassembled the pump and just put the pump inside the shed still assembled. He didn’t winterize the pool water correctly. He just applied an unknown liquid into the pool. He did inflate my pool balloon and insert it into the pool. Unfortunately my pool cover has a rip and I had to purchase a new one. The provider stated that once I did purchase the new cover I could call him to come back to put the cover on. I paid the provider $300 for the full service and he left. I then had to call him back to put the pool ladder which he left on the lawn into the shed. I purchased a new pool cover and called the provider numerous times without any answer. I even reached out to him via text message and no reply.
