"This is so sad, We agreed to do extra work and when we went out, the husband told the crew to do work we had not agreed upon. As for harassing the customer it is patently untrue. In fact we did go out at 8:[Member Information Removed] am in the morning to collect a check BECAUSE THE HUSBAND TOLD US TO !!! This couple is completely dysfunctional and can never seem to communicate with each other."
"Here are the facts: They have not had any water since we installed their system ! 1. The basement used to flood every time there was more then a moderate rain. 2. We installed our system, having to cut through rock and ledge, an extremely difficult job. 3. The basement has never leaked or had a drop of water since we finished.. Because of the ledge the water now is redirected and does not go to the sump pump and may never unless we have an extreme storm. It really dosen't matter as the basement is now bone dry! The cost of the job was under $4,000 and it took us over a month to get paid, with excuses such as the check is in the mail, no stamp on envelope etc. We offered to come out do additional work, eeven though it was not needed ( which was agreed upon with the husband ) at NO cost to customer. We arrived and they decided they wanted us to do something entirely diffeerent. The husband and wife are never on the same page nd they constantly change agreed upon work to be performed for free."
"Mr [Member Name Removed] had his system installed over six months ago. His basement is bone dry and he never complained about anything after the install, in fact he raved about our work. My foreman is a retired police officer and we are respectful to our customers and their homes. He was not present at the time of completion so he did not pay the crew. therefore we needed to arrange collection of final payment. He offered to meet my assistant 20 minutes from his home. It was his idea, not ours. Unfortunately we did not have the lids to his sump pumps. We offered to bring them out when we got them. It did take us a month to get the lids and we called him numerous times to arrange a date to install them. It took him months to respond to us, evidently he had a fire at his home over the winter and was living with no heat. He finally got back to us and we got him his lids and warranty transfer agreement. In fact Mr. [Member Name Removed] has been texting my assistant with actual death threats towards me. I believe the man has serious problems beyond our work, which is working perfectly."
"Mr [Member Name Removed] took one year to file a complaint. In fact he paid $8000 for his project , not $12,000. also please note, he has never been wet since we installed his system other then leaks s from the middle of the floor caused by his contractor finishing the basement The reason for his complaint is he refusal to pay for a service call. We did install his waterproofing system in November 2016. After the install the customer did not complain about any mess. Unfortunately we did have to return twice to fix leaks caused by his contractor shooting nails into the floor when finishing the basement. We fixed these problems at no cost to the customer. About two months ago he complained about one of his pumps not working properly. We sent a technician out and found a tennis ball, which his dog probably dropped in the sump pit stuck ,in the pump . Obviously this is not our fault. We removed the ball and guess what the pump runs fine. We sent a bill and he has refused to pay."
"This is a very unfortunate case. In fact we have an At rating with the Better Business Bureau. We occasionally have to go back to difficult jobs and fix small problems and we always do, promptly and with out charge. We stand by our work and have thousands of installations and they ALL work. This customer signed a contract with us previous to the work we performed and cancelled her contract due to a lack of money to pay the contract. A year and a half later she contacted us and signed to have her basement fixed. We did install a system for this first time home owner over a year and a half ago. The customer has an old house with crawl spaces and a basement. We did a large amount of work , and tore out a rotted old basement that flooded. In the early fall of 2015 the customer called and told us she had moisture on her floor. It was 96 degrees and it rained a o 1/4 of an inch . There is noway the system didnt work as we where and still are in a severe drought.: It was condensation that had caused a puddle in the middle of her floor as her space is not air conditioned.. She refused to believe us.She also claimed her pump was not working We sent a technician out to check her pump. which she claimed was not working. It was working and we showed her it was working. Without ever calling us back, she cancelled her credit cards . She never informed us she had any type of problem after our service call. The credit card company just gave her her money back. The judge told us, he had no choice but to rule against us because we the credit card company ruled she was due the money. We stand behind our product and in fact if anything was actually wrong we would have fixed it. However we were not notified of anything wrong! The customer found a way to get a system for free!"
"Thanks [Member name removed], It was a tough job and we are happy you now have a completely DRY BASEMENT! Thanks for your trust. Charlie Owner Quality Dry Basements"
"This was a tough job. We are glad the customer is dry and satisfied with our work. Charlie Owner Quality Dry Basements"
"[member name removed], Thanks for the great review. It was a pleasure working for you. Glad to hear you are DRY!!!"
"[removed member name], We are thrilled that we could properly fix your water problem. We often have to tear out inferior systems and we know it is painful financially to have to do work twice to fix a problem. Glad you are dry !"
"Thanks for the nice review. We are pleased that all went as contracted and that you are finally dry! Enjoy your new found living space."
"We did have a problem getting backup pumps after Hurricane Irene. Our supplier but us on back order. We did receive pumps several weeks later, but we then got slammed with a snow storm and power outages which put us on delay for service calls. We apologize to the member and we definitely " dropped the ball " on exchanging her defective pump. Fortunately she was never without a working pump and she has never had a drop of water since we installed her system, and we have had some very bad rain storms!"
"The work to be performed was a total waterproofing system, including sump pumps and mold remediation. It was completed in three days , in a timely fashion. Our company was to put back some dry wall and molding. We sent a contractor out to this work 10 days after our work was completed, due to the fact that the concrete needs to cure before the finish work can commence. The home owner met with the contractor and asked him to estimate the moving of a bathroom and other items not covered by our contract. This additional work, not disclosed to us, unnecessarily prolonged or completing our work and getting paid from the client. We waited over one moth to get paid. The client eventually hired our contractor for her "extra " work at her expense. The entire delay was due to the customers change in work to be done, outside of our contract. The customer has a fully functioning waterproofing system and is bone dry for the first time in 10 years."
