We were extremely satisfied with the result.  Our floors look completely new.  They did a lot of repairs, replaced broken pieces, filled gaps, sanded old wood thoroughly, added new flooring in the closet, applied 2 coats of stain, 2 coats of Polyurethane.  They worked with my schedule. Father and son work together.  They are reliable and work extremely hard.  I highly recommend them. <br />

Juan and his team did a beautiful job, transforming our very old floor into something quite beautiful.  They arrived on time, worked hard, and were reasonably priced.

Outstanding job, will use again

Although they do not advertise as painters, when I mentioned we were going to paint the room, Juan offered to do it at a competitive cost. They did a thorough and neat job. The floor refinishing looks great, too.

Overall, the experience was awesome.  Juan and his father arrived early Friday morning and got straight to work.  It took them 2.5 days to complete the job and were finished by Sunday afternoon.  They are extremely professional, courteous and paid great attention to detail.  The floors look amazing, we are so happy with them.

Overall, the installation took one day ( approximately 10 hours). The installation crew was ver tidy, left no mess and removed all aold flooring.

The job was handled professionally.  Juan was completely resposive and responsible in all aspects; very good to deal with.

The Garcia's (father and son) were prompt about giving us an estimate and starting the work.  But once they began sanding down, there was little communication.  We had to call them in order to tell them we wanted to pick the stain color.  They didn't bring many choices, and we settled for one.  They only put one coat of stain down and said they put three coats of finishing.  In the end the floors looked a bit faded in areas (as if not enough stain was put down).  They also didn't specify what type of finish (semi-gloss, etc.) and we didn't know to ask.  At the end of the job,  when we took a look around, there were many places where the stain was on our freshly-painted trim.  The job was just done sloppily, without proper care.  The Garcia's came back out with a painter to fix all the spots that were on the walls and trim.  They were very nice and responsive but I think I would have spent extra money (they were the cheapest of three estimates) and went with someone else.  In the end, we went with them because they got good reviews with Angie's List (that's how we found them) so it made me question the recommendations on this website.

Juan was fantastic and prompt with his response and I couldn't be happier with the results.  They were clean, worked on the fourth of July since my restaurant was going to be closed, and cleaned up after themselves!  Absolutely fabulous experience and I have already sent his name and contact information to everyone I know that may possibly need their floors redone.  Couldn't recommend them more!Or

Juan and his dad are very friendly very hard workers. On the floor refinishing. They refinished 20+ year old floors. They replaced water damaged wood. Very good job. There are sanding marks in some areas, but overall very good. They just need to slow down a little. On tile install: Looks good, but tile is not professionally level. It's nicely done, but few tiles are not well lined up, and not level. We had a very large floor area to install but I don't recall them using a level. It certainly looks good. They still need to come back and finish a few things (thresholds). I've called Juan once, but need to call him again to remind him.... I would recommend them. They are good on price, they need to slow down a bit, and finish up.

Working with Juan and his father is a breeze. They came over on a Saturday, gave me an estimate, and returned on Tuesday to do the first bedroom. They returned, as promised, on Friday, to do the 2nd room. They removed all the carpet, did a great job installing the Pergo, and as always, did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Couldn't be happier with the work!

We had stains from our cat on the hardwood floor. Juan and Tony gave me an estimate and came the following day to replace the boards and sand and stain. Both of them are extremely professional. I had been putting this off for a long time because I thought it would be too complicated and expensive. Their price was very reasonable and they came and did the job in less than a day. It is perfect. I would hire them again if I needed any other work done. I recommend them highly.

not a flaw wonderful experience.

Juan was always reachable and appropriately responsive by phone; always courteous and accommodating. The job took five days. Only a few areas of the grouting were not finished off as perfectly as the rest. We feel that it must have been the resonance from the power saw they used to remove the old sheet vinyl and its underlayment that caused our patio doors to craze. Juan called us to the room immediately to see what was happening. We saw no fault on the saw operator's part. The workers removed the remaining old flooriing by knife. Juan's insurance company has agreed to furnish new glass for the doors; we are currently waiting for an installation date.

Juan and his crew were very punctual. They stayed right in line with their estimate. The workmanship was excellent. It took 3 days to complete job, which they had told us ahead of time. Very professional. My daughter plans to use them to do her floors as well.

Juan and Tony came out to give an estimate, right on time. They gave me a very detailed quote that was under 2 others I received. On the day the work commenced, they arrived on time and I even changed the work order to have them do additional work (at first we were only going to buff the downstairs, but we decided to do a full refinish). They were able to complete all the work on time. The floors look like new! Although the stairs did not turn out as we would have liked, it was due to the type of wood underneath, not due to any workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend Garcia Floors to any of my friends or family.

There estimate is very reasonable compared to others. They are a father and son company. They are very respectful. They come on time when they say they will. There is a thing about getting floors refinished that it leaves a lot of dust in the house. They have done the job with virtually no dust. They clean up everything everyday when they leave. One of the people we got estimates from wanted three hundred dollars for moving furniture. They have helped me move furniture many times for no additional cost.

It went well. He was very helpful and he was willing to work with us. He showed up on time, and he didn't spend more time than needed. He was very responsive to our needs.

Juan and his co worker were extremely courteous, professional, and patient during the 3 days of work our job required. They moved all furniture from the room and sealed all entryways to minimize dust infiltration to the rest of our home. They stuck to their quoted price and the results were exactly as planned. We are very pleased with the experience.

Juan responded quickly when I requested an estimate and provided all necessary information. Work was scheduled promptly. They arrived as expected at 8am and covered all possible surfaces and blocked all openings with plastic drop cloths. While the sanding is very noisy, there was no dust or residue when they were completed. They applied a sealer and one coat of polyurethane on the first day. They returned as promised at 8am on Saturday morning, buffed the floor, installed the shoe molding and applied the final two coats of polyurethane. They did a very professional job and I highly recommend them.

Juan Garcia gave us an incredibly low estimate. We were very surprised and delighted. He was able to start the work within a few days. He and his father spent three days at the new house - still empty. He matched the stain of the old floor to the new floor. It didn't match before. He finished the reworked floor with semi gloss, even though the other part was finished in high gloss. I was concerned that the two finished didn't quite match, but Juan told us that semigloss is more durable (and it WAS the kitchen). They made an effort to seal off the rest of the house, and they made a good effort to clean up the sawdust, which made it all the way up the stairs to the 2nd floor. Clean-up wasn't great, but it was pretty good. They also replaced the molding. They were dependable, available to phone calls, and reasonable. They kept in touch. It is obvious they are trying to build their business, and they did their best work for us. They certainly gave us an incredible price!
