HORIBLE, I trusted him from previous experience. He had a good helper from the job before that did good work and was friendly. I did not live at the home when Bill did the last job and found out his helper did not work for him any longer. He asked for too much up front which should have been a clue. He asked for more as job was being done, he told me he finished and gave me a total due and I sent money before getting there to see the job. A 15 year old without supervision would have done a better job it was the WORST sheetrock and spackling job ever seen, areas of sheetrock that were not even screwed and blobs of spackle that were never sanded....I paid him $1000.00 and had to hire someone to fix the job as he never replied to text messages or email....He is no god fearing man for sure to hang me out the way he did....He also has an ATV that I bartered with him on over a year ago and he has not paid the difference as of yet....another amount I am getting stuck on, and I see he didn't pay his bill for advertising on Angie's list now

Excellent! Bill was very responsive to my initial inquiry and set a date for the free estimate within a week. Others we contacted couldn't tell us when they could even come out for estimate. Due to the rain we had several delays where he couldn't work and he was prompt about keeping us updated. He shows up right on time and cleans up after the work. He's very easy to work with and is quite knowlegable about repairs. We will most definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Bill was excellent! He always replied to my calls or emails. We set up an appointment and he was there when promised. He, along with another carpenter, Bob, did an outstanding job. They were well organized, showing me what they were doing all along the way, and finished in a timely manner. Bill even charged me less than the original quote (almost half). It is difficult to find contractors that are responsible, honest and that do quality work. I HIGHLY recommend QHI for any services you may need around your home.

Everything was great! All the jobs took less time than I expected and it was good to get his opinion on some things that I wan't sure about that it ended up I didn't need to have done.

This project was delayed by winter in Maine, but was completed this past week and Bill did a great job of opening up the area and fixing only what was needed.

For what we paid, and for a professional painter, the work was surprisingly poor. There were drips, streams, and brush marks. The walls were new. There was no cleaning of the walls between coats, resulting a rough finish speckled with tiny bits of debris. The walls were perfectly smooth to begin with.

Everything went well, coordinated a time, arrived on time and took care of both of the drywall jobs I needed to have done in the time purchased. No issues, polite, would hire again for work needed. thanks!

Bob came over as expected and painted my room. It only took him 3 hours, yet I paid for 6. However the trim work was a mess and he offered to come back the next day to do it so I could get the 6 hours I paid for. So after he left I went out and purchased the trim paint to have ready for the next day. He was back the next morning and my room looks great!

Bob did very well. He was neat and friendly.

Bill Willings was great to deal with. He was prompt, courteous and professional and provided detailed estimates. We liked the quality of his work so much, we kept adding projects. As you can see from the list above, the jobs ranged in complexity, but Bill brought in other reliable craft and tradesmen when necessary (plumbing, electrical, acoustic ceiling). We are very pleased with the result.

Bill made the time to come over. I tried 3 other businesses and everyone was too busy. He always answered his phone or texts. It wasn't a huge job. But, he also did not take advantage of me by doing more work than needed. I am pleased with the job.

The completion of the work as well as the set up / clean up was all great. He was professional and answered any questions that I had.

He was not able to replace my faucet because he is not a licensed plumber, but he did other things, which were not on my original list. For example, he lifted some entry stairs, which had started to sink into the ground, and he power washed the whole front of my house. So that more than made up for not getting the faucet done. The other work done was more than satisfactory.

Bill showed up on time, as scheduled, and did a great job. He was friendly, courteous, and professional, and the window sills came out looking good. We had a few other small handyman things that needed to be done outside, so since there was still time left on the package deal of time that we had purchased, he was willing and able to help us out with those as well. He also gave us some good info on a few other things that we may have done around our house and yard in the future. We would be happy to have him back again to do more handyman things for us...
