With over 50 years of experience, Royston's uncle started the family business in Georgetown, Guyana, designing and manufacturing furniture for retail stores. Royston's passion for furniture led him to open his own showroom in Mitchellville, Maryland, featuring a range of high-end furniture brands, including Baker, Hickory Chair, Henredon, Wesley Hall, and Vanguard. Today, Opulent Kitchen & Bath & Upholstery is a luxury online furniture store that offers custom upholstery, interior design, antique restoration, custom window treatments, and staging services. The upholstery work completed by Mr. Brathwaite and his team was beautiful and professionally completed. He has an eye for accent pieces and suggested some lumbar support pillows for my chairs, done in a complimentary fabric, which are not only pretty but very comfortable. Excellent outcome!

I am extremely happy with the re-upholstery of our Stickley sectional and Bob Timberlake sofa. I was a little nervous about spending the money to have these pieces of furniture reupholstered because I could've bought new for less. HOWEVER, I couldn't have replaced the quality of these pieces for twice what I spent having them reupholstered. And I kept this quality furniture out of the dump! I heartily recommend Opulent Interiors if you're considering salvaging your upholstered furniture.

Royston is a true professional. He can help you select the perfect colors and design of fabrics for upholstery that will enhance your decor. The quality of the work he does is impeccable. He takes great pride in his work and has access to fabrics from many sources. The only suggestion I could make is if you are in a hurry, select a fabric he has in stock. Fabrics from overseas sources may take a while to be shipped. Working with Opulent Interiors is like having a designer at your side. He truly aims to please!

he brought the chair back to me on saturday. i told him two times to bring my fabric back to me. and he said that "Oh i forgot it and you have to go and get it". this is outrageous. he overcharged me.

"This is the worst I have ever seen. This Customer [Member Name Removed] . I was very uncomfertable doing this Repair on the arms of the Chair for this Customer. She was calling me over and over. I took the Job an was trying to help her. She Called me EVERY DAY, my Daughter grandmother Passed, i told her i would be out of Town. I told her . I WANT TO RETURN HER CHAIR AND HER DEPOSIT. SHE KEEPT SAYING TO ME NO ,NO, I WILL WAIT WHEN YTOU RETURN. I did a great job of fixing the arms on her chair that her Cat Destroyed, about her fabric , she worry so much , when I returned her Chair . I forgot to bring back her fabric. She went OFF ON ME. I told i will bring it tomorrow , She wads so nasty to me , she told me she will call the Police. I told her please come to the Showroom and get the fabric and pay me the balance of money, she said ok. then she called me and said she is not coming. Angies said to bring it to her. I took it to her , Now she is trying to destroy my Repution . Her neighbor who helped me too the Chair in told me You ARE DEALING WITH A CHARACTER. Good luck."
