R1 Pool Service

Luis arrived promptly with a smile at the end of his workday to check on my emergency situation right after we communicated. He was quick to alleviate my stress with an informed plan as soon as he evaluated the problem. Although he had limited time on that day, he fixed the most important detail there and then, so that the issue was no longer an imminent problem. He then returned the following week and relocated the equipment, reconnected everything and got my pool up and running. He explained everything thoroughly, made good suggestions and we had a laugh. He charged me a reasonable price inclusive of both visits. Professional, knows his trade, pleasant, fair and prompt. Hire this guy!

Luis was so awesome!! He responded the very same day, came out and repaired the remote antenna and heater, and had our pool and spa working better than ever. Five star service and very responsive! I have him on speed dial if we ever need pool service again

Yes on time professional. Pool heater works great had to move the gas lines and the waterlines that went to the filter to the heater. Everything was done. Great job very nice. Luis is very nice man hard worker.

R1 was very profession and fair - definitely a professional

Luis is an outstanding professional. He did excellent work for us. He is reliable and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend his services and will only turn to him in the future with our pool needs.

Showed up on time. Great communication. Spent a really long time doing diagnostics to find the problem. Gave me a high probability that it was the circuit board. That was it! Luis is highly recommended!!! I am keeping your number buddy!!

Great work from Luis! He goes above and beyond. My pool and spa are working great!

I used to perform most of my own pool maintenance including chemicals, filter cleaning and fixing equipment such as pool sweepers so I understand what goes into a pool service. Unfortunately with an ailing back and some long work hours, I hired Luis to take over my DE filter cleaning. That was 8 years ago and since he has replaced 2 different pool pumps and installed a new DE filter. I cannot be happier with the service that he provides. Luis is a hard working, honest individual but most importantly he has expert knowledge and deep experience with pool maintenance and repairs. I highly recommend R1 Pools as your next pool company.

They were great. Prompt in responding to my request. Fair pricing. Arrived exactly when they said they would and did quick and quality work. Thank you!

Luis is the absolute best! Not only is the weekly service top-notch, but Luis has kept our system running smoothly including minor equipment upgrades when needed, but not excessively by any means. He is friendly, extremely prompt in communication, and we have recommended him to several other folks. This is your pro for pool service if you live in the area, hands-down!

Before the services, the pool was broken and green. But with the knowledge, hard work, and skill of this service, our pool is now sparkling clean and we have been able to enjoy it!

Two thumbs up! Luis keeps our ancient pool beautiful and more importantly still WORKING!

Luis is excellent! He is extremely reliable and knowledgeable. Always keeps me up to date on the condition of the system and suggests any timely preventative maintenance needed. This information helps to protect the system and save money by avoiding potential repairs that could be avoided. His attention to detail is definitely an added value to his great work. 10 out of 10!

I was referred to Luis after being very dissatisfied with my weekly pool service company. Luis knew exactly what to do and cleared up a terrible algae problem where others wanted to drain my pool and start over. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand and I hope to never have to deal with another person or company again other than him! His pool company is the best I’ve ever used. Also, he always gives an option on how to save money on any repairs or products. He really cares about his customers

Luis, is truly a professional and knows his craft! Got rid of our algae quick! Our pool has never looked so great and it literally sparkles! We call him the ‘pool whisperer’! Organized, on time, a dedicated worker! We would definitely recommend his pool service! Great positive attitude! Awesome!

Great. Luis responded quickly, scheduled a time and arrived on time. Luis was knowledgeable, professional, solved the issue and charged a fair price. Thank you, Luis!

Excellent service. Luis Rodriguez gave a fair estimate, was very professional; explained all work that was needed and work that could wait if we chose to. He was always on time and communicated with us in a timely manner and in a very professional way. He left area very clean and he even completely arranged a DWP rebate for pump installed (pictures and documentation). He was also very available for questions after work was completed. We would definitely recommend him.

Luis Rodriguez is a master in keeping fixing and maintaining the perfect condition of my pool. I can not be happier with his work and presence. I highly recommend his service. Thank you thank you!!

Mr. Luis Rodriguez is a very professional, knowledgeable and very kind and courteous person. His pricing was very fair and he was very easy to contact; answered the phone the first time I called and every time thereafter. We were very pleased with his explanation of what needed replacing and with his availability to do the work. Only our filter needed replacing; he did not try to persuade us to replace the other equipment. We decided to have him replace the rest of the equipment since it was very old and not energy efficient. He also provided, not only the documents needed to qualify for the LADWP variable speed pump rebate, but many pictures showing the new pump settings and encouraged us to send them by certified mail to ensure that we receive the rebate. This showed us he cared; he went beyond that which was necessary. He was very attentive to answering all of my concerns with the pump settings with explanations that made sense ( my current pool service could not or would not answer). We were so happy with his service and knowledge that we asked if he would do our maintenance vs. current company but he politely responded that we are out of his service area. We highly recommend this very responsible and professional person.

Luis is great. Extremely efficient in his work and always responsive. I highly recommend him.

I was impressed with quick response and quality of work Completed. Efforts were made to meet my need for the work to be done immediately. Which was much appreciated. Curtious and friendly professional Expertise demonstrated.

R1 is fantastic. He came same day, worked liked a scientist to diagnose our issues and got us back to blue water. I’d hire him again in a minute!

Luis is the best!

We have been using R1 pool service for 1 1/2 years and our pool has never looked better. Luis is a true professional and takes a lot of pride in his work. He is extremely thorough and explains different types of care that the pool needs in the winter and summer months and always makes sure that the pool is cared for like it is his own. When he comes each week he brushes the sides of the pool down like no other pool man ever has. He takes his time and always leaves our pool sparkling. Luis is a gentleman and always explains things in depth and with upmost curtesy. He is conscious of costs and I never feel like he is trying to take advantage of me by overcharging. If you are in need of an excellent pool service I would highly recommend Luis at R1 pool service.
